If you mail to me regarding such uploads I can make the files
explicitely available on their own page.

I too have started to make a 'Space Invaders' type game quite a while
back... actually it's a mix between 'Wavy Navy' (where your ship moves on
waves) and 'Galaxians' (where the enemies also fly occasional attacks).
But I stopped halfway through because everyone seemed to have turned away
from the VMU and instead started programming on the Dreamcast, so all I
have is a very very early beta (playable, but only one 'demo' level to
test if all movement etc. works properly).
However, if anyone wants to have a look, you can download it here:

You get what anyone gets. You get a lifetime.
Actually, it's for both...
Not only can you copy files, there's a plug in back to hook to the computer.
This is why the nexus software has 2 VMU slots in it. :-)
It uses the same cable as the Nexus cards too... I think.... They fit at
least.... It's made by the same company...
Anyway, I hope this clears some stuff up.

Well I`m not sure ,i guess this cable cant be used with th official sega
VMU, but what about downloading your files to the nexus, then copying th
mini game you just developed to the Sega VMU, q little cumbersome, but it`s
a work around IMHO

What are you talking about?!?!?!
I have a Dobule Power and it works with ANY VMU. Wouldn't be kind of
pointless to make a device that works with just Nexus VMU's when then can be
hooked directly into the PC?
I've used my Double Power with a normal Sega VMU, and it even worked with
the memory card thingie that comes with the GameShark.
It also lets you expand all of your VMU's to 240 or 241 blocks, even though
it claims to only expand Nexus VMU's. :-)

Nope, it only connects to the nexus card but then you can use the
dreamcast to copy fies from the nexus to the official VMU.

This people has anything you need, sorry for advertising, but they got
the Nexus VMU,4500+ blocks,no compressed flash ram,no LCD display, but the
cable is just right what you need, from your VMU to LPT printer socket, and
the home page downloads the soft required to make transfers to/from VMU/PC,
hope this URL is useful for you...

There is another space invaders type game on virtuamunstaz.de made
by M.Jumper with his script.
Those games are very usefull to us programing with the script.
I took a portion of the LOGIC script and modify it a little to work
on my PSO ID Calculator.
So I hope the SPACE INVADERS and BREAKTHRU games will help me
Sorry about the confusion =)

No, it's not that advanced. I still don't know how to
write to the flash mem. anyway.
I'll try to release the new version when I get the
chance - I keep adding new features and I don't want
to release it until I take a rest. Updateing it as
frequently as I add to it would be hectic.
I'm glad you like it.
ALSO - the source code for ELIZA as well as other
games will be released soon. ELIZA still needs a
little tweaking. I just expanded it's vocabulary, too.
I made some breakout-like game a while back. I don't
know why I never released it.

Well, it's still a game of skill, of fast skill ;-)
I must admit that it gets very fast on a real VMU, I wanted it that
way. Usually it's faisable to finish it, since I do it most of the
times.

It's quite simple, actually, but it does the thing nicely.

I love your script!
Since it was out,it has help me undestand they way the VMU works.
And most of what I know is because of your source examples.
One question
Why don't you release all the stuff you make?
I have seen on virtuamunstaz a lot of cool things, like the space invaders type
game and songs.
It will be great to have all those source files.
My only working program is a PSO ID Calculator also found on virtuamunstaz.
it's my first game/program and Im working hard on getting a few others to work.
I know someday this experience will help me better understand how more complex
game systems work =)
VMU Fan
BTW does ELIZA have a save to flash feature?
Will anyone find out about "our" conversations?
