If anyone remembers the old AI therapist Eliza...
It was originally written in LISP which was then translated into
BASIC, and from BASIC into VMU Script!
Yes, you can now talk to your VMU... sort of.
Since the VMU obviously has no keyboard, you have to cycle through
the letters by pressing up and down. The left and right keys are
backspace and space respectively and the A key functions as the enter
key.
The program should be exactly the same, except that I had to remove
the conjugation portion due to lack of memory. It uses the text
engine that I developed next year with a little enhancements.
ANYWAY - you can download the game itself from your dreamcast or pc
at http://www.virtuamunstaz.de/vmi.jsp
just click on the classic tetris icon titled eliza.
I've also updated the compiler a bit, it hasn't been uploaded yet
though since I wasn't sure if anyone would use it. It just has a few
new features (constants, include file updates, etc) BUT if you want
it, just reply to this message and I'll try to upload it. The same
goes for the ELIZA source code (it requires the new version).
