I don't even know what CVS is !!!
But... I'd be glad to help you out. I've got a
couple non-DC projects that I'm working on, but those
are just for fun. Believe it or not, I'm almost
finished writing a chess program written in (get
ready) Visual Basic!!!! So far it plays pretty well!!!
(It can beat me)
Back on topic, about the DC port....
I just got an idea. DCEmu ported a copy of Linux for
the DC. If we could port the code to work with Linux,
it would work on the DC!!!
Don't worry about how much space a program will
use!!!! I've tested random things for how much space
they will take up, and I don't think programs take up
that much space......
The average size of a vmuscript program AFTER
COMPILATION is 6 blocks. I don't know how big the
source code is, but I wrote a program to calculate VMU
sizes so I can just use that. I'm not sure if I made
that (VMU.EXE) available with the general vmu script
package, but if I didn't I can post it in the group
files if you need it.
If you think the programs will take up too much
space, it wouldn't be too hard to write a simple
program to save the files in 6bit or 5bit format since
they're only text anyway (between 3/4 to 5/8 of
original filesize).
