While looking at my server-logs I noticed that something called Planetweb
has problems downloading my VMS files from VMI. As for as I know Planetweb
is the Dreamcast US browser. The problem is, that instead of using
"MINE.VMS" it wants to download "MINE .VMS", the name is padded with
space to 8 chars before .VMS. The European Dreamkey browser works,
occording to my logfiles. Currently I have just copied the VMS files, so
both names are available. My question is: Is there a way to generate
VMI files which are compatible between the browsers? I could give all
my programs names with 8 chars, but that is not really a solution.
