Hello, I'm looking for Virtual Boy replacement parts:
Foam visor (eyeguard)
And tripod
If anybody has or knows where I could get one, would you please tell
me. I recently got stiffed in a Virtual Boy purchase, so I'm trying
desperately to find these parts >,<
Thanks again
The closest anyone's got to making a game is a
crude Pong... This site,
http://dana.ucc.nau.edu/~dbt/VBMain.html, is dedicated to hacking
the VB, but the files
can't be downloaded, and no recent updates. :( Still,
lots of info, including how to make a VB controller
attach to parallel port.

Other than that, people
have made a nice stand, by using a desktop lamp stand
with beefy springs.

the computer...

I'd like someone to make a
game and devise a link cable... or get their hands on
the original game dev equipment...
After a short break to focus on other systems
such as the Amstrad CPC, NES, Sega SC3000 etc, but
I've started to find time for all systems ;-) One
thing I've noticed with other systems that current
users are making homebrew peripherals for these old
systems to breathe some life into them. Just wondering if
anyone has made any homebrew devices for the VB.
Anyone??
I just bought a copy of Red Alarm on ebay...
turned out to be the demo version. Is there any
difference other than the small scrolling text? If there is
a difference in actual gameplay, I'd like to trade
for the real Red Alarm.

On other thing: I
can't seem to beat the first boss! Homing missles are
impossible to avoid... tips? ;)

Thanks!
Thanks for your reply! Finding a fellow VB friend
is NOT easy! Sometimes I think I'm the ONLY person
on the planet that PLAYS VB!
Anyway..........

As far as what I HAVE for VB stuff to swap, not much

I've hit 20+ million on every table, almost 30 on
colony and one Metroid one. I love that Metroid
mini-game! I belive, since that is the first table on there,
maybe the game was at one point Metriod Pinball? Well,
thats just my opinion, I know it was called Space
Pinball, but they changed it, guess they thought it was a
little dull.

Keep It Virtual.
-Vidyogamer
Oops, I'm sorry, my page got messed up, i have the solution, go to http://vblab.8k.com for the full
research module on the vb's horizontal lines.

-Vidyogamer
Lines? I've never had lines in my Virtual Boy.
Did you drop it on to the floor? Maybe you should
contact Nintendo of America so that you have your Virtual
Boy repaired. Or maybe you should buy a new Virtual
Boy...
Hey there guys 'n gurls!

Lately I've been

Hello. I am a VB fan from Sweden. I wount to now how to beat the hardetst ending
in inmouses house. I have ask this before but i gott now answer.

/Thanks
What's your guys top scores? I just scored 15
million on "Alien." Does anyone know how many of the
alien heads you go through before you reach the last
one? I also like the level where you get to play as
Metroid in a ship...that makes me want to buy Space
Invaders.
I've researched this question, and have posted my findings on http://vblab.8k.com hope it
helps!

Keep it Virtual
-VB Vidyogamer
My VB does the same thing these days(really
noticable with Mario Clash's intro where the clouds part).
Vincewy is right about the power thing, doesn't help a
bit because I use mine more than with batteries. I'm
not certain about the impact part, but it probably at
least makes it worse because i've never dropped my VB
or slamed it or anything and it was doing those
lines, but my neice dropped it and I think it made it
worse. Could just be the LED's are showing thier 6 year
age and Nintendo hadn't tested the VB for extreme
long term life. Mine doesn't bother me, out of the 9
games I have, it seems to show up better on the
lightest red color with the lowest intensity. Maybe I'll
do some research and post it on Virtual Boy Lab's
site. Thanks for the idea.

Keep it

Waterworld the Game is remarkably similar to
Waterworld the Movie. Dumb! The game is expensive just
because it's rare, not because it's good. I can't get too
worked up over working my way through ten levels of
so-so challenge. You can find loose cartridges more
easily than boxed games as Ocean was still manufacturing
them when Nintendo killed the VB. A bunch of the carts
seem to have made their way into remainder
houses.

Watched a DVD of Silverado last night. Kevin Costner is a
lot more fun when he's acting than when he's
directing.

Chas
