I've hit 20+ million on every table, almost 30 on
colony and one Metroid one. I love that Metroid
mini-game! I belive, since that is the first table on there,
maybe the game was at one point Metriod Pinball? Well,
thats just my opinion, I know it was called Space
Pinball, but they changed it, guess they thought it was a
little dull.

Keep It Virtual.
-Vidyogamer

Lines? I've never had lines in my Virtual Boy.
Did you drop it on to the floor? Maybe you should
contact Nintendo of America so that you have your Virtual
Boy repaired. Or maybe you should buy a new Virtual
Boy...

What's your guys top scores? I just scored 15
million on "Alien." Does anyone know how many of the
alien heads you go through before you reach the last
one? I also like the level where you get to play as
Metroid in a ship...that makes me want to buy Space
Invaders.

My VB does the same thing these days(really
noticable with Mario Clash's intro where the clouds part).
Vincewy is right about the power thing, doesn't help a
bit because I use mine more than with batteries. I'm
not certain about the impact part, but it probably at
least makes it worse because i've never dropped my VB
or slamed it or anything and it was doing those
lines, but my neice dropped it and I think it made it
worse. Could just be the LED's are showing thier 6 year
age and Nintendo hadn't tested the VB for extreme
long term life. Mine doesn't bother me, out of the 9
games I have, it seems to show up better on the
lightest red color with the lowest intensity. Maybe I'll
do some research and post it on Virtual Boy Lab's
site. Thanks for the idea.

Keep it

DO go through eBay. Prices there are generally much lower than the game dealers
post on their sites.

Waterworld the Game is remarkably similar to
Waterworld the Movie. Dumb! The game is expensive just
because it's rare, not because it's good. I can't get too
worked up over working my way through ten levels of
so-so challenge. You can find loose cartridges more
easily than boxed games as Ocean was still manufacturing
them when Nintendo killed the VB. A bunch of the carts
seem to have made their way into remainder
houses.

Watched a DVD of Silverado last night. Kevin Costner is a
lot more fun when he's acting than when he's
directing.

Chas

One of my ystems is like this too, this is due to
the dead pixels on the screen, will the power adaptor
solve the problem? No. Can this be fixed? Maybe,
through Nintendo, but I think you'll be better off
getting another one from eBay, it'll be less hassle and
cost about the same. From my experience, the dead
pixel (lines) are from huge impact (I dropped this on
the floor once). I may not be right on tis, so get
more 2nd opinion.

My Virtual Boy has taken up a new habit of
displaying horizontal lines all across the screens. I've
tried new batteries, but everything stays the same.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Would the power
adapter stop this maybe??

Hi there! I do own Waterworld, and I am also one
of those who also liked the film. Regarding the
Virtual Boy game, the objective is fairly simple: (LEVEL
1) You are presented in the middle of nowhere in
your boat, and there are 10 atoloners (I think) in the
water. You have to kill all the smokers which appear
trying to take away the atoloners, and you have to
protect Elona. When you kill all the smokers, there's a
counter which checks how many atoloners you have saved
and if you saved Elona (multiplier up if you did so),
and gives you points. (LEVEL 2) The same as level 1
but a bit harder. (LEVEL 3) The same as level 2 but a
bit harder. (LEVEL 4) The same as level 3 but a bit
harder... etc.

I personally like the game, but I
admit it's VERY repetitive. Also, it is generally
considered as one of the worst games for the Virtual Boy
ever made. I like the game, but as you know, colours
were made for tastes, and that's my opinion. The rare
thing is that it is one of the hardest U.S. games to
find mint for the Virtual Boy, and that's the reason
why it's more expensive than the others.

Hope
I was of help.

Dani.

i dont know if any of you know this but the game
waterworld was based on a movie calles (of corse)
waterworld. I just saw thismovie and i thought it was great.
it has a thin story line (which is why it failed so
bad in theaters, even though it had a HUGE budget.)
but over all was entertaining. I dont own the game
waterworld, i was wondering if any of you do, and if so, how
good is it?

I have my list of games saved online at
www.gamerland.com. My username on that site is savedman. I am
getting close to 1000. My Virtual Boy list is kind of
small though. I'll have to work on that. For all you
classic gamers check out www.digitpress.com. They are
getting ready to put out their latest edition of thier
classic video game price guide.
