I know what you're saying, but you have to
understand my line of reasoning. I think of it this way:
Five years ago, the VB was released for $180. It was
32-bit with a red and black monochrome display. Okay,
cool. . . Now it's five years in the future. Technology
which would have been much too expensive 5 years ago
could not be made available for a reasonable price. So
the same $180 now--five years in the future--a much
more advanced system could be produced. And you have
to keep one more thing in mind as well: It's gonna
take to get all the names for the petition, to put the
packet together and for Nintendo to decide to develop
the system. So we're really talking 2 or 3 or more
years from now which would be 7 or 8 after the VB. And
one last thing: If Nintendo answers with an emphatic
"NO!" then I'm not opposed to taking it to Sega, Sony
or anyone else who will listen. By the way, have you
signed the petition yet? If not, then please go to
www.geocities.com/team_vr64 and sign it. I replaced the e-mail link with a
form so it's totally hassle-free. Later!
