I've been collecting video games since the Atari 2600. My favorites
so far are the Turbo Duo and the Sega Saturn.

Someone introduced me to a little gadget that fits on the back of
your Playstation. It looks like a game shark and is suppose to let
you play PC Engine ROMs on your Playstation. So far I can't get it to
work. Anyone else heard of this?

Then I had someone tell me the web had software for the Playstation
that does this same thing. But I can't find any. Any ideas?

I would rather play the originals but who can afford them all. Like
Saffire (Saphire?). I played it at a friends home when it was first
released. I LOVED it. Been looking for it ever since. I've played
back-up versions but they are always flawed.

Anybody, know where I can find this title? Or at least a good back-up
of it. I'm DYIN' HERE!

Working Designs doesn't make RPG's, they only publish them.

The plug you're speaking of is called a mini-den port
as oposed to the larger den port on the TG16 console.

Dunno if it's compatible with non-Koei games, my guess is probably
not... all games that can use it have a "Save-kun" compatible logo
on the front, much like PCE games that can use an MB128 have the
compatibility logo on the front.  I don't know anything else about
it though, like I said I've never used it and I don't play those
Koei games either, despite owning a surprisingly large number of
them =)

Cool, that sounds like what it is!  I don't play any of those heavy
Japanese Koei games, but it's nice to know what it is!  Thanks for

Max, sounds like you're describing a Save-kun, Koei's own MB128-like
device for use with its save memory-gobbling tactical strategy
games.  I have one myself but honestly speaking, I've never used it
