Yeah, there is no english Dragon Slayer II.
Beyond Shadowgate often SELLS for a fare amount as a collectible.
You can be the judge as to what it's worth since you have it and
(could)have played the game.

copy ofcourse!) and fiddled with it a couple times..
Maxx.,, im still sorting through all those scd's to see what the hell
they are,, hahahah
I spent ages trying to track down Legend of Heroes II in English
Language, but to no avail. Everyone seems to think it was only
released in Jap. I hope this isn't true.
By the way, is Beyond Shadowgate worth all that much, as I have a
copy myself (I mean the original of course!). Not thinking of parting
with it yet though.
Oh yeah! Vasteel has a second disc. It's Ultra RARE! I saw it on
eBay for $364.38!!! It looks identical to the normal disc, but it's
really an Ultra RARE expansion disc. Working Designs only put it in
a handful of Vasteel cases, so that's why it's Ultra RARE! They even
had a marketing gimmick going when the game first came out. It was
called "You could possibly get the Ultra RARE expansion disc if you
buy Vasteel TODAY!!! (U.R. E-D only available in random game cases)".
John Madden Duo CD Football also has a second disc. It's actually
made of paper, and is foldable. My buddy who owns all 213 US Turbo
Duo games says that it's really a clone of Madden '97 for SNES. He
says if you play it and score 11 unanswered touchdowns in a row, the
paper disc will tell your Duo to spin it faster than normal. Because
the disc is spinning so fast, all the players on the screen start
doing really fast break-dance moves. Then the screen will start
flashing "Authentic-Reality Light-Show", and your system will pop
open and start shooting flames!!! I guess the masterful programmers
at EA somehow made the disc spin fast enough to create a great amount
of friction. And because this special second disc is made of paper,
it will burn up and shoot flaming paper-shrapnel at you! Pretty
wild! But my friend says that the disc isn't playable after this.
So, if ever find the second John Madden Duo CD Football disc... don't
score 11 unanswered touchdowns in a row. Otherwise you won't be able
to play it ever again!

your favorite arcade ports to play, but which games meant the most to
you that they were ported?
Which games ARE your favorite ports to play?
And which do you think are the Best ports, taking intoaccount factors
like Space Invaders being less of a challenge to port than Afterburner

This loser was trying to pass off a cdr of Beyond Shadowgate as the
real thing.
I e-mailed the high bidder to let them know(they had bid $68), but the
guy never cancelled his bid.
At the same time eI reported it to eBay and I guess either the high
bidder or eBay contacted him about it 'cause he cancelled all the bids
15 minutes before auction end claiming "I decided I want to keep it".
This is another guy who describes it as "a copy of...", as if its a
real copy, -but also put up a pic of the CD label, figuring he can
either just say "you say what you were buying", or hoping they just
wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Thats why you should always check every pic on an auction and cross
refference feedback(it looks like he was using alias'/friends to boost
his rating).
Still, in the end, the shitty part is that eBay NEVER removed it.
Granted, I didn't come across it until a day or less before it ended.

1. I tried to make the walkthrough as straightforward as possible, as
not to confuse total Gaijans with too much info per step.
-also, I didn't want to spoil the story, figuring that it played out
easy enough to understand(95% of my 'knowledge' of the story is just
assumtion).
-I'm half way through a walkthrough for Tengai Makyo ZIRIA. Its my
best yet and is by far the best looking asci text walkthrough out
there. Its so thurough, that it list every item in every chest,
translations of every shop, translations of every spell, and a bestiary.
-I'm going to also make it straightforward, but will have a Story
section seperate at the end of the walkthrough, instead of telling
bits at a time here and there.
2. If(when) I play through TMII again, I will translate all the shops.
-however, each shop tells you what piece of equip is for which
characters. The shops list the first character/symbol of the party
members' names. Its still trial and error as to what to buy and not
buy, but its no different than Final Fantasy II SNES in english, -you
just Save before shopping.
*also, when I have time... I'll be translating all the spells and
posting an english version of the foldout list, and will have a web
page walkthrough with pics.

Since the Clubs were converted into Groups, I've been locked out more
than half the time.
But I'm using a different browser now and am having greater success in
actually posting.
So, there'll be alot more activity on my part, pics, files, topics,
etc... and hopefully we can get the momentum going again.

TX22 here.... Thanks for the answers and the story synopsis. You've
got an awesome walkthrough. If it weren't for it, I wouldn't be able
to play TM2 (which has been gathering dust since I got it 3 years
ago). My only suggestions are 1. to add your knowledge of the story
along with the walkthrough, to help us non japanese reading players
along. 2. Perhaps provide more item and weapons buying suggestions in
towns, or must find items/weapons in given dungeons. Right now it's
almost trial and error in terms of buying equipment, since I can't
figure out if I buy a weapon, which character can use it or if it's
worth buying. I'm also totally lost on items, especially in the later
parts of the game. Whereas weapons have some kind of numerical and
alphabetical hint as far as if they are a weapon, armor or shield,
items do not.
Keep up the good work.

jeez. after all that, i feel vewy, vewwwwwy, sleepy (thanks anyway,
dad for the bedtime story)...=^P
I wrote that walkthrough. As soon as I have the time, I'll be
revamping it dramatically.
1. The Battle Menu is pretty straightforward.
If you've made it as far as you have, you obviously know the main
options.
-The 3 choices after choosing defend are-
Defend
Defend for another Party Member
Dodge
-the 2 choices under Items are-
Items
Equipment
2. There aren't any leveling up/moneymaking tricks.
3. The story begins with the mischievious young Manji whose grown up
relatively poor.
After the invasion from outer space, he learns that he's a decendant
of one of the ancient Fire Warriors/Clan, who slew the Demon Orchids
back in the day.
Early on during his travels, Manji meets the world famous theatre
actor/dancer: Kabuki Danjiro, whose is arogant and obnoxious
(rightfully so).
He also encounters the 3 evil Doctors: Beron, Deron, Deroren, who are
always trying to trip him up.
Always the to save Manji when he really neads it, are the Momochi
Sandayuu girls(sisters?).
And popping up every so often are the ambitious Ashimoto brothers who
are always hatching some sort of scheme.
After defeating the 3 Skeletal Kings, Manji receives the first Spirit
Sword, which contains the soul of an original Fire Warrior. Manji
uses the Sprit Sword to destroy the first of the Demon Orchids.
Kabuki then joins Manji onward in his journey to free Jipang of the
menace of the Dark Orchids and the evil Daimon Cult.
They soon encounter Kikugoro, the 'pink typhoon', Kabuki's fierce
rival, who appears to be tied into the source of the evil vines
engulfing the nearby Province.
The two warriors work together tracking down Kikugoro by uncovering
some of the many secret devices laid dormant in Jipang, once utilised
by the ancent Ihican race.
After defeating Kikugoro, retreiving another Spirit Sword and
destroying the local Devil Orchid, Manji and Kabuki carry on through
Jipang, until Kabuki decides he can do better by traveling ahead
without Manji.
Upon visiting the Subterranean Mermaid Village, Manji learns of the
abduction of the Mermaid Princess. After rescuing her, the Mermaids
allow Gokuraku to go free, -who had been imprisoned for 900 years.
Manji and Gokuraku continue on, enountering Daimon Stones(boulders
that fall from the sky to block their enemies path). After slaying
the Daimon Priests and destroying the Daimon Stones, the two confront
the evil Princess Hamaguri, and destory another Devil Orchid using a
recovered Spirit Sword.
Manji and Gokuraku then meet the young sorceress Kinu and her kanine
companion: Shiro. As Kinu's powers are so great she cannot control
them, she asks you to retreve a mystical chain that will a subdue her
energy and allow her to join Manji's crusade against the Daimon Cult.
Kinu warps the Party to another region plagued by the Demon Orchids.
They unlock the ancient Ant Lion chariot and traverse into the desert
pyramid where they defeat the evil Queen Barbara, whose partner Duke
Pepe cowardly flees.
After destroying another Orchid, the warriors soon encounter the
insanely stupid, yet immortal ape named Manto. After beating him into
submission, they continue to the next region infested with Dark
Orchids where Shiro is kidnapped.
The evil Nikusuke tries to force Shiro to kill his friends by using
mind control, but Shiro sacrifices himself to save his friends.
After mourning Shiro's loss, the Party comandeers a Daimon Cult mech
to reach and defeat Nikusuke(when Kabuki returns and rejoins Manji),
as well obtain the mystical dragon spirit ropes which Gokuraku uses
to pull the northern island(nesting two Dark Orchids) to the mainland.
The party dispatches the Orchids and goes on to chase down Duke Pepe,
who has stolen an ancient air fortress, constucted by the Ihicans.
With the help of the eccentric american missionary: Hotei Maru(and a
few Ihicans engineers), they defeat many enemies, free the air
fortress from Duke Pepe and slay another Orchid.
Manji and his commrades use the Steel Air Fortress to warp to the
remaing Provinces plagued by the Orchids. The party seeks the Dragon
Clan for help and finds Kinu's mother being kidnapped.
After freeing the Dragon people and resting, Manji awakes to find
Kinu missing. Still, he carries on and endevours to awaken the
ancient sleeping turtle giant, who sails Manji and his friends to the
Ice Palace where they confront the evil mamoth Hyakan Maru.
When you try to free Kinu's mother she reveals her true form and
tries to kill Manji and the others. This causes Kinu to unleash her
full power, the dark energy consuming her to the point of torturing
and mutilating her evil mother.
After consoling Kinu, everyone continues onward to defeat the seventh
and final Dark Orchid. But instead of freeing Jipang of the Daimon
curse, a powerful earthquake ensues and a giant Dark Orichid explodes
from the earth at the center of Jipang.
Apparently by destroying the Orchids, Manji had unknowingly aided the
evil Doctors to errect the giant Orchid tower and ressurect their
evil lord Yomi.
In order to confront Yomi, Manji's force journey's to uncover the
ancient powers of the Fire Warriors, hidden deep within the land.
After persevering to win the mystical Fire Hammer from its demonic
guardian, the party narrowily manages to escape with their lives
thanks to the sacrifice of the brave Momochi Sandayuu girls.
Manji travels to the ruins of the Fire Clan's city and uses the Fire
Hammer to forge his own soul into his family's sword, creating the
ultimate weapon to defeat Yomi.
Another sacrifice is made when Hotei Maru gives his live using the
Steel Fortress to blow an entrance into the impenetrable Orchid Tower.
The brave warriors traverse deep into their enemy's fortress, where
they battle the evil Doctors, but cannot destroy the Yomi larva
before it develops into it's true form.
Still, they persevere and finally manage to defeat Yomi, not only
returning peace to the land, but in turn also ressurect their fallen
friends.
And so, they all lived happily ever after...
-except for Kabuki, whose lust for adventure would lead him on many
more quests.

4. all of the IDs are registered within a month

I've gotten stuff from him before, he's totally trustworthy. It'll
be nice to have the cdrom for my Super Grafx, now if I run into the

I'll be even happier! That was the last rumor I heard, that somebody
made copies of Strider on cd.
