Well ,, your here. Turbografx network.Collectors
of NEC home gaming consoles. You aint got a
turboexpress and you collect, something is wrong with that
picture.
When i bought my turboexpresses, i didnt consider it
"blowing money" and i know i have over 150 carts or so,
more than a few.
This is the most expensive system
(besides the neo geo ) to collect.
Walking into Die
hard game store and seeing a whole turbografx section
on display , and me saying "Ill take it!" and the
employee saying "Take which ones?" and me replying "All of
it! cash or charge?" a car load and a half.
Thats
just one example of what its like to hunt down
carts.
I believe i was selling a turboexpress with the
tuner and a cart for $155.. oh and the carry
case.
try finding that deal on ebay.. lol

Well, I like the idea of the Turbo Express, but
my issue is, I can't afford to blow $150-300 on a
Turbo Express for only a small handful of games. GBA
has a nice collection of games coming from all
generations that I love. Pac-Man Collection, the SMA series,
and the Capcom games, etc, plus Sega's stuff is
coming. I need a system with easier to find games as
well. I am not good as Turbo Chip hunts. I would love
to have a Duo and Express, and start to collect
games, but really... I just can't afford it. The systems
are expencive, and right now, putting money towards
vid games isnt exactly a good idea.

preview was openned simply because we know the product is close enough to
finished to be usable, u know?

Well, we don't need a port of Air Zonk for GBA
since there's the the Turbo Express and PCE GT, which
aren't that much more expensive and in actual use and
have much better screens(there's no comparison to
backlights, I'd almost rather have the Game Gear's blurry
mess over the dark GBA hole).

A sequel would be
cool if they could capture the essence of the original
and improve upon it. From what I've read, Super Air
Zonk isn't supposed to be very good(its one of the
3(?) Turbo Duo games I haven't played).

Still,
straight ports of Turbo/PCE games for GBA and Wonder Swan
Color would be cool as a novelty alone. But the
Express/GT is still good enough for me(and yes, I do own a
GBA).

...but of course, I still prefer the PCE/Turbo over
PS2/GC/XBox/etc... -so what do I know?

maybe so, but if it seriously is relevent to this
club's members, so be it. I don't mind. As long as its
relevent, and not sleezy, full of bad material, etc...
People need to be the judge of what's acceptable for
that kinda use. If it's really that irrelevent, then
please ask the club founder to remove the post.

Hey guys, quick question. A friend of mine
overseas in Japan just sent me a Duo-R unit with a buncha
games and controllers, but no power supply! I tried
using the power supply of a US Duo, but it wouldnt
fit....the end that goes into the unit is a bit too big.
Anyone know of a power plug that can fit, or where to
get one? Also, i'm looking for a 6 button controler.

Much Thanks

Me and a friend have been working on Vintech
Emulation for a long time now, and a preview for the public
is now open. www.vtemulation.com isnt another
emulation site. It's about quality over quantity. We are
not a ROMz house. We are an information stand, and a
place to investigate emulators, and their capabilities.
We review games, emulators, etc, and keep people up
to date on newest versions of emulators, and so on.
I recommend you all check it out!

Hudson have been steadily cranking out as many games as ever(since the PCE
era).

Super Bonk had large tiered Sonic like levels. Like Drac XX, the
levels didn't fit the existing gameplay.

Projectblowed here(using my girls comp). Yes,
Super Genjin was Super Bonk. It's not very good. Bonk's
Revenge is my favorite, then 3. The Gameboy ones are ok,
but, not fantastic. Super Genjin 2 however I really
like, & would love to get it, & complete my Bonk
collection, aside from not having the NES one. Speaking of
which, the NES one, is a chopped up version of the
original game.

was that the game that was brought over to the
