yeah but maxxlords, you said it yourself you are
not made of money. NEVER let anybody tell you not to
buy the originals.. but ,,, to get 5 cdr's for the
price of one original cd isnt that bad.
The
originals are only valuable to us, remember that....
Its
not like your gonna get millionaire status for owning
the most original SCD's.. i learned that lesson 5
years ago when i bought a yamaha 400c with floating
laser guide for a mere $600!
ever since then.. i
back up every original i get.
Since im the only
real source for identical (and i mean fucking dead on
perfect copy) i have to buy the originals
anyways....
Kabuki has a burner,, but he cant burn the scd's so he
just mails me the original and i back it up..
I
return,, i send his copy back with many extra.

To be honest, Turbo stuff on Ebay is quite cheap
-- cheaper than Akihabara most of the time,
especially when you get the obscure stuff. I put a Sol
Monarge up there for $18 one time (didn't know what it
was) and nobody bid on it. :)

Yeah, agreed, but figure that Adol has likely purchased everything from abroad,
and shipping to France (and French tarriffs) are not cheap, which drives the
cost up.

The Japanese versions are kind of steap... I know 3 should get at least $25-$30
in mint condition, but is worth every last penny! 2, I've not played. Boy, is
1 the ugliest game on Earth or what?!

I don't buy much of anything from Yahoo Japan
anymore... sending money is like $3, then $3-6 for shipping,
plus using a couple of the few hours of free time I
get a day, making sure I'm at home to recieve the
package is definitely not my idea of a fun time. :) Throw
in the time out of my lame lunch break to actually
send the money... I'd rather go to Akihabara, get what
i want, know the condition, take it home and play
it. :)

I have a Coregrafx console. I'm using the Duo AV
cable. I used my cell phone charger (the voltage/symbol
matched the symbol on the Core Grafx), but all I get is a
white screen. When I put the AV cable on the Duo, it
works. What's going on here?

If anyone has a
spare Kisado, do you want to trade it for a PC Engine

Anyone got a spare original of Shiubibiman 2 or 3
or Shockman that they'd be interested in parting
with for $15 or $20 ? I'm not sure quite what they're
worth, but that's all I can afford.

Thanks !

pirating of software not even the creators will touch anymore.

Yahoo Japan is the most depressing site I've been
to in a LONG time. They have TONS of PCE games, for
PENNIES on the dollar...but none of the sellers ship
internationally (sob, sob), so I can't buy anything :( Very sad!

Destroy both arms of the Level 7 Boss without killing it. Wait a bit and 'Bonus
Stage' will appear. Grab the words, kill the boss, and you'll enter a bonus
stage.

I picked this game up today, and while it is filled with pretty graphics, it is
insanely easy! Are there any hidden codes/hidden levels/bonus stages to up the
replay value?

>check yahoo japan auction site, this game is
common there ( aint so rare after all )

Common?
Not really. There's a whopping ONE ofthem on there
now.

> and cheaper too,

As one would expect being
in Japan -- you guys don't have to pay out the ass
for EVERYTHING else though.

> simply get
someone in japan to bid it for you and thats
it.

Easier said than done.

>yahoo japan is where
all ebay sellers get items for sale.

And this
I'm sure everyone knows is utter bullshit. 99% of all
items on Ebay aren't even Japanese. there's no way all
of those Dukes of Hazzard underwear and Brady Bunch
zippos come from Yahoo Japan. Even the Japanese games --
go to Akihabara, and actually look off the main drag
and you can get some deals.

Here's what I always say when buying
online.
1: Do they have an online form (IE -- can you trace
your payment)

2: is the site well-designed (I
know this isn't a guarantee, but it shows
professionalism, and costs spent -- most peopel that run scams
have dodgy sites like this)

3: As Vince stated
in not so many words, if it's too good to be true,
then it probably is.

Sorry for posting unrelated topics but I think
this will help a lot of people, but I'd like to warn
everyone thinking about ordering XBox system from this
scum, trust me, it's guaranteed
scam:

http://www.xboxordering.com/

This is one of the sites on
eBay people
are selling the URLs that allows you to get XBox
cheap, but please learn the fact, Microsoft will not
allow any company accepting preorders w/o buying the
bundles (most come with 3 games and 1 accessory), nor
would you be able to get the system for less than $300,
even retailers can't get it for less than $300. I'd
encourage everyone reporting this to Microsoft.

What really amazed me was the fact that many people
actually preordered it and believed they'd get the system,
which the same thing has occured last year with PS2.
