I used to have it(I sold it to geelw). You
deffinitly need the card! Or, I did play it on the emulater
as well, so, you can go that route if needed. It's
probably the best Hackers game for PCE out there. I saw it
go for over 150 on ebay, right before I sold it,
but, I didn't feel that 150 was worth it, so I sold it
for 100, which is what I think you should pay(or
less, if you can find it for less). Don't pay over 100
for I say.
got mine for like $41. check out their other auctions (and read my old
post/question about them)- hey mdaaaaaa! they have a battle mania- for 180
bucks! yeeeeesh...=^P
Yeah, I think Hi Leg is one of those(or the only one?) special Hackers' CDs
that'll only play with the accompanying System Card.

So you'll have to
buy an original.
Roger,

I already reported that Sapphire
to eBay, and emailed you (thanks to kabuki for
reminding me), but please do so of your own accord too, as
the more complaints they get, the more likely they
are to do something about it. I'm putting this whole
procedure up cause it's a pain in the ass and might be hard
to find. I've always hated finding this stuff so I
hope it helps someone :) To file a complaint about
your auction, go to eBay and to the auction. At the
very bottom of the screen is a SafeHarbor link. Then
Click on Dedicated Departments: Investigations. When
you reach this screen, click on 4. Contact Rules and
Safety. This should get you to a screen to flie your
complaint. Select Questionable Item - Games - Infringing
media. Then file your complaint with the auction number
and any other info you have, and offer to forward any
emails he sent you. Then forward them when they
ask...which they will :) I also reported him to Yahoo
Auctions...but haven't heard anything from them yet. Hopefully
he gets banned.. but that IS up to eBay. Good
Luck!!!
thanks, mate! i'll send you a copy of issue 2 of the magazine later today (we
just got it yesterday- it's got bill gates on the crapper with an x-box coming
out his ass)...=^P
efera & jilora is an odd one- it's really fun for
an action/rpg, if you can deal with the regenerating
enemies and difficulty curve. also, NEVER shoot or hit a
townsperson accidentally- they gang up and kill you, and you
have to restart from your last save, lol! auleria i
have, but i haven't played yet (le backlog!)...=^P
I really want the original, but out of curiousity
what do the one's you provide come with? I mean,
doesn't this game require a special Hu-card to run? Or is
that something else I'm thinking of?
Probably...

But c'mon, you must have an original somewhere...
sell it to me! ;)
First, MDA, money goes out saturday, thank you
soo fucking much as i really wanted this game and you
didnt have to do this , but you did . thanks
.

GEELW..
your shit is ready, i backed the original you bought
just in case and included it with a bunch of other
games too.
I thought i was gonna be able to drive to
multimedia 1.0 but i got put on call at work.
so ill fire
those out to you saturday as well.
thank you for
waiting a bit.
Yea Legend of Xanadu 1 was a pain in the you know
what. That site you gave was pretty useful and straight
forward as I was able to get to the end with out too much
trouble. I still haven't finished it, I'm still on floor
31 of the last dungeon. Legend of Xanadu 2 is much
less taxing to play through and a little shorter which
was a good thing as the first one kind of dragged on
at the end.

Also are Auleria or Efera &
Jilora good and worth playing through?
well, i always considered y's v to be like any
one of the games that tried to copy the earlier games
in the series (the xak games, exile, etc.)- not the
greatest, but it's good for a sfc game, though. i hear y's
v expert addresses some of the problems of the
earlier version by being a bit more difficult to beat, so
i'll need to track that one down as well...=^P
Nope there definately is NO PCE version of Ys V
of any kind.

Ys IV MD never made it out
either.

Ys IV The Dawn Of Ys is the only Ys you need anyway
after Ys I & II PCE/Turbo.

Not only are the SFC
games Ys only in name, but not very good compared to
the traditional PCE titles.

Ys Vanished Omens
for SMS, Ancient Land Of Ys 1 and II for Famicom(the
PC originals) and Ys Eternal I & II PC are pretty
damned good though.
Save his e-mail and report him to Safe Harbor.

They'll ask for a copy of
it.

With any luck, he be banned, but he's still ripping people on Yahoo
Auctions...
Well I must thank you guys.
I was the idiot
who had the the auction for $71.

Its good to
see that there is some decent people out there, lets
hope he doesnt catch anymore people out.

I
almost got excited for a moment that I would finally own
the game, I suppose I should of questioned it when I
won the auction at that price.

The bloke even
had the cheek to email me as if there was nothing
wrong. It wasnt until I questioned him that he admitted
it.

Needless to say I told him where to go.

Does anyone
know what happens now. How do eBay stop him trading
again under a different name?
I've got Ys 5 for the Super Fami, but I'm pretty sure they made a Super CD
version... I'll do some checking.

But I'm sure you're done with that HLF
of yours... why not sell it to me? ;)
hi leg goes for about 80 to 100 bucks, and you'll have to hunt for it- it took
me about a year or so to get mine! as far as i know, y's 5 and y's 5 expert are
super famicom only games, btw...=^P
Only in the boss battles, which are a cross between Ys III & Street Fighter
II.

When you walk into enemies the character does actually swing his
sword, unlike Ys though.
I hope this is an acceptable post... if not,
forgive me.

Anyways, I had a seller back out
(well, stop replying to my emails) reguarding this game,
so I thought I'd try my luck here. Anybody have the
game for sale? What's the going rate?

And to
avoid multiple WTB messages, I'm also interested in
Tenshi no Uta 1 or 2, and Ys 4 and 5.

If you do
have any offers, email me at gora0035@...
.

Thanks!
oh, they insure them, but only up to a point
where they delete their records, which is stupid for
overseas buying and selling, those records should be kept
for an additional 60 to 90 days simply because shit
happens. in my case i waited long enough for the seller to
get my money and ship the item- but by the time i
e-mailed him to find out if he got my money (actually, it
took him a few more days to get back to me and ask
what game i was talking about, etc.) they snipped the
deal from their records. now the bastard won't even
respond to my e-mails, and i've been really patient
(cursing someone out is a last resort). i know a few
people in france, but i'm not about to have them go
knock on some dick's door to ask "um, loser, where's my
buddy's game?" or, perhaps i should...=^P
