Even though it's a crappy conversion, I still
won't sell it. I collect any & every Turbo/PCE game I
come upon, & never sell, unless I already have it. I'm
sorry. You'll have to keep looking if you really want
it.
The one that comes with the Turbo is 2.0, which
is different then the 1.0. The 1.0 never came out in
america, because by the time we got the Turbo, Japan
alreay was up to the 2.0. I have an ex-friend that has
one, but, like I said, he's an "ex" friend, so I
wouldn't be able to get it from him. Oh well.
Do you need to somehow select what cd driver your going to use for the Magic
Engine? It reads my cd-rom, but, only as a music cd with one track. How can I
get it to use my cdr drive?
I have a system 1.0 card.<br>actually its a Turbo
Grafx CD System Card 2.00<br><br>its not a super system
card, so it may work.<br><br>the only game I have that
needs it is Addam's Family. So if you want to make a
trade for my system card, i will throw in addam's
family<br><br>sushiballz@...
I just finished Ys Book I & II on Magic Engine. I
had to use my cdrw drive (the other one's a dvd).
When I tried to boot from the other drive, what I
assume is a cd player came up -- number pad and small
screen. With the cdrw, the game booted fine. But each
time it was inserted, autorun took over and my ati cd
player started playing the track. had to turn that off
first, then choose "boot cd" from magic engine menu. Hit
run, and off I went.<br><br>One note of caution -- you
have to format the storage area before you can save
games. The "save game" feature inside the game was good
until I shut down magic engine. When I left the program
I had to first "save game" from the main me menu. I
only had to lose 3 hours of game play twice before I
learned this. Duh.<br><br>Did this make sense?
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to run my cd games on my pc. I've
loaded up the system card, & I push run, & it goes to the cd player screen!!
Can anyone help?
Here's my opinion:<br>Altered Beast (CD)-not that
great. Plus, you need the 1.0 card for it to work. It'll
only allow you to get as far as changing into the wolf
in the first stage, then it won't load
anymore.<br>Macross 2036-Awesome! Especially for those that are
really into Macross. A great shooter either
way.<br>Outrun-not very good. Infact, I could say it sucks. If you
get it for cheap, like I did, then go ahead.<br>Twin
Bee-Really good. Great 2 player shooter!<br>Dragon
Saber-REally good. Another great 2 palyer shooter!
Before I order these games, what are your opinions on them?<br><br>Altered Beast
(CD)<br>Macros 2036 (CD)<br>Outrun<br>Detana Twin Bee<br>Dragon
Saber<br><br>Thanks.
ok I hope someone can help me out here.<br>Im
looking to find the following games at some decent prices
so if anyone wants to sell I would be willing to buy
Im looking for complete copies of the following
games. I want the japanese Pc engine versions of the
games I dont know if they have the same name as they
did here in the USA so if you know the name of the
game in the japanese form please be sure to let me
know.<br>I need ninja spirit been hunting this down for
quite sometime, I also need the original bonk.<br>Im
also looking for bloody-wolf and devils
crash.<br>again they must be complete and in great
shape.<br>thanks <br><br>email me at Neojorge@...<br>if you
have any news for me or just post it here.<br>thank
you fellow NEC Gamers.
Well, Im almost done with the Turbo Grafx. There
are a couple of games that I still need before Im
finished:<br><br>-Bonk 3 CD<br>-Super Air Zonk (hey part of a set, dont
care if it sux)<br>-shadow of the beast<br>-kabuki
klash<br>-martial champion<br><br>I collect games for a system that
i have, until I have every game that I want.
The reason I asked is ecause every code I get
from Gamesages.com is wrong. They do not screen the
codes. They print any code that anyone sends.
<br><br>They had a code for Marvel Vs. Capcom where you can be
Sakura!? <br><br>Ive read codes that were printed wrong. I
even sent a code wrong to see what would happen. I
said at the title screen on Mario 64, if you hit start
6 times while holding z, you can play as luigi. AND
THEY PRINTED THAT!!<br><br>You can only hit start once
then the game starts.<br><br>they sude.. does anyone
know a better source for codes. Sure gamesages has a
lot of codes for a lot of games, but not all of them
work.
If I'm not nistaken, that code is for
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for PSX, I think it's
supposed to let you play through the game as Richter,
after you beat it with Alucard. Like I said I'm not
positive, but I used to have a strategy guide for SOTN and
that code looks VERY familliar. I hope this helps.
Actually, I had the orange one, before I had a
Duo. I used my good ol Turbo, & had lots of problems!
So, I sent it back to TZD, & paid like 5 bucks more
for the purple one, then I later bought a Duo for $20
from a friend of mine, & now, I use that, instead of
my TG. So I take off the door, for it to fit.
Yeah, it's because the orange Kisado is so long
that its easy to put it in slightly
crooked.<br><br>Ironicly(after hearing your purple Kisado story), the easiest
way to use the orange Kisado without problems, is to
leave the Hu-Card door open.<br><br>I think the reason
I originally bought the Duo Kisado is because its
also supposed to be the one to use with Turbo
Express(which fits better than in the Duo, -and no
glitches).<br><br>Has anyone else used any of the other convertors on
the Turbo Express?
Sorry about my lack of presence here due to some
events happening in my Neo-Geo club, I've been thinking
this for a long time and have made the decision, that
is selecting a new cofounder to help answering
questions people might have, welcoming new members, and
keeping discussions going.<br><br>Based on my observation
over last few weeks, I've picked Kabuki Danjiro
(Justin) as he has demonstrated the best overall
combination of knowledge, open-mindedness, maturity,
dedication, patience, and desire to help members solving
problems, earning him a position here. When I started the
club, I want the best people to take the club in
charge, rather than having my friends from Neo-Geo club
as partner.<br><br>I'll still be involved here but
it'll be mostly behind the scenen, such as seeking and
inviting new members, searching for additional links, etc,
so let's keep the gaming going.<br><br>Vince
Actually, I have the short purple kisado
converter, & it works just fine on my Duo! I use to have the
long one, & that one sucks! When I got Strider, most
of the time, it would go to the screen that says you
need the arcade card, but, somtimes, it would boot up
the game, & play with all kinds of funky colors, & it
was slow! To use the converter I have, just take off
the little door on the Duo.
Macross 2036 is a Super-CD game and will play
fine on the Turbo Duo since it has a built in System
3.0 card, and the Turbo Duo/Turbo-CD don't have any
region lockouts.<br><br>Just the Hu-Cards are locked
out.<br><br>To play PC-Engine Hu's on a Turbo Duo or Turbo
Express, you need the longer Kisado convertor.<br><br>Its
orange colored and is labelled- PC > TG Rev.
B<br><br>It's also often reffered to as the Kisado Duo
convertor.<br><br>Be careful when ordering/bidding on one, as there
are people who don't know the difference and might
just assume that their convertor will work for the
Duo/Express.
I'm new to the club, and I have some questions.
My bro and I have a Turbo Express, a Turbo Duo, and
two Turbografx consoles. I've been told that adapters
(like Kisado) will not fit a Turbo Duo. Are there any
PC Engine to TG16 adapters that will fit the Duo,
Express and TG16? <br><br>Also, I ordered Macross 2036.
Will that work on our Duo, or do I need an adapter for
that one too?<br><br>Thanks.
Hey guys thanks alot for all the info, I had
gotten my Turbo Grafx 16 (in a trade for an Atari 2600
system) with 8 games and one of them is Military
Madness.<br>I just searched on ebay for more HuCards and this
one had popped up for around 20.00 (starting bid) or
something like that. <br>I haven't even played it yet and
from the sounds of it I guess I should so I can see
for myself what the hype is all about. <br><br>Later
