Well, just install some shock resistant casings for the screens. I guess plasma
would be the good choice, light weight and wouldn't offset the recoil of the
rifle or alter your shot. :)
Found them after selling the damn system. Oh
well.

Last Imperial Prince $40 (new)
Battle Heat $30
(new)
Deep Blue Fleet $30 (overall near mint, picture
available)
Graduation II FX: Neo Generation $25 (contents near mint,
box very good/excellent due to light though numerous
scratches, picture available)

Shipping will be from
Canada, and payments can be sent to Canada or the USA
-whatever's easier for you. Reasonable offers will also be
considered, esp. for more than one game.

Thanks a
lot,

Neo Bomberman
Well, if it's a .50 caliber, it'll probably be
easier to sell in the US :) It's functional AND fun!!
Sell them in high schools across the nation...we'll
just have to make some gun games for the PC
Engine...and some VERY sturdy TVs :P
Yes. You can. You can install a regional switch on the turboduo to play both
regions,, Ive done this.
PCengine can also be modded to except american carts
via cart converter.
>One of the regions, I think Turbo, has an
extra >pin.

I pulled down the first games
from each region I could find in my boxes...in this
case, Dragon's Curse (U.S.) and Coryoon (Japan). The
have the same number of pins; however, they do have
differences with the pins themselves as noted in my other
post.
The differences are not cosmetic...the pin
configurations on the Japanese and U.S. HuCards are different.
If you take a card from each region and look at it,
you'll find differences in the large center pin and a
slight difference in the placement of all of the
remaining pins except the two large outside pins. There was
a shop where I used to live that claimed it could
do mods to Duo and TurboGrafx consoles so they could
play Japanese software without the need for a
converter. Personally, I've never seen a mod'ed
console...and it's weird that so many people are scrambling
after converters if a cheaper mod is theoretically
possible. I never mod (I have Duos from each region, though
I do own a Kisado and one of those cheap, purple
ones), so I don't know personally. About the mod, ask
someone like Hu6800 since he mentioned he had a mod'ed
system, I believe. An odd question, though. Where exactly
were you thinking of starting to cut plastic away
since the Japanese HuCards will perfectly fit into the
U.S. slot? The problem with the Nintendo consoles is a
difference in the cartridge casings between the two
regions...this isn't the case with the Turbo...as a HuCard is a
HuCard, no matter where you are.
I have an original model white PC Engine.

It, and the other white PCE's I've had over the years
have all worked using an RF switch(except the one
without an RF port) playing on channels in either the 70s
or 90s.

What RF switch are you using? Have
you tried other RF switches?

If you're stuck,
I'd recomend buying a Coregrafx. You can get one
pretty cheap on eBay. You can just sell your PCE to help
offset the cost.
I noticed a Kisado go for 137.50 on ebay a couple
days ago. Another convertor on there was pushing $90 I
think. Is the differences between a TG-16 and PCE simply
cosmetic or are there actual internal difference? Like a
different pin set on the cards? I mean could I just cut
some plastic away and play Denpei Dodgeball like I did
on my SNES?
What type of PC Engine do you have? And how do
you get yours to work? I've had HuCards for over two
years..damn, should've ordered the Kisados from TZD two years
ago! Here's the games I have...

Altered
Beast
After Burner
Outrun
Twin Bee
Dragon
Saber
Street Fighter II

A few others I can't remember
right now...
i figured it would happen sooner or later, but
not this soon! i have in my hand a bootleg game boy
advance game called (get this) fatal fury 2001- it looks
like either the neo pocket fatal fury or a
reprogrammed gb king of fighters, but i'm guessing the former.
it's pretty cheesy, and i'm sure nintendo will have a
mild heart attack when they get wind of these things
(i'm sure ther are loads of other titles out by now)-
oh yeah, um, ever notice that you never see
hu6800000 and johnathan brandstetter in the same place at
the same time(had to make this a turbo related post
some how)?...=^P
I have just the PC Engine console, with the RF
switch, no AV out =(****

Have any of you played a
PC Engine through RF here in the US? There's also
two switches for "I and II" which I assume is like
the channel 3 or 4 for US consoles.

If I can't
play through RF, does anyone have a spare Coregrafx
they wanna trade for my PC Engine?

I take it a
Turbo Booster won't work on a PC Engine?
All convertors are pricey right now.

Kisado is the best, and the orange
one is the best Kisado(designed for Turbo Express and Duo as well as TG16).
Are all converters the same? I've seen Kisado
converters going for TONS of cash..., but I've also heard
there are a bunch of different types of converters to
play Japanese HuCards. I'm getting a converter soon,
but I don't know what kind it is. Are there some
kinds I should avoid? And why?
Just the Coregrafx's have the AV out.

The original model PCE's only have
an RF switch out, -and some(I'm guessing ones that come with the CD-ROM) don't
even have the RF switch out!
You'll need the PC Engine equivelant of the Turbo
Booster.

Its called something like 'AV Booster' or
something.

A Tennokoe Bank 2 will also work as well as allow
you to save games(the PCE equivelant of the Turbo
Booster Plus).
I'm slowly working through all the details to
finally play my PC Engine games after two years! I won a
PC Engine on ebay for about $30, but it is just the
console. I'm using a Turbografx-16 controller through a
Duo controller cable adapter thing...my power supply
is from my cell phone charger (the symbols
match...ie 6V, etc). Now, I tried using the RF switch box,
with no success. I did the channels from 70-99 with no
success. So, now, I need a Turbo Booster, as I was told it
will fit in the back of the PC Engine, and I can play
my Japanese games through the AV jacks.

Oh,
since Adol is the topic...I won an Altered Beast HuCard
for $30+shipping from him...I've won some other games
from him too with no problems.

Or if someone
wants to sell a Kisado for a good price...
Legally? Hell, they sell 50 cal. rifles that can
blow through solid metal plating legally. You could do
some serious damage to a f-n' tank with that thing and
you think they'd really give to flaps of a rats
behind about an outdated system that no new games are
made for? Hmmm...
