Yeah, but out of all the hits I get, only a few
are diehard turbo fans... much less members of this
list. I've even got feedback like, "Wow -- all those
games with sequels that never came out here." IE,
gamers that are just getting back into their favorites
as a kid, or Japanese retro games in general.

Well, endings kind of spoil it for everyone, and I'm not big on those kinds of
games - hence, I'm not going to play them to the end. :)

Well, dont' have those, although I know a used ST3 is pretty much the new
price... takes a while for them to go down. Not sure about the rest.

actually, it's not endorsed by nintendo anywhere
in the world, and they won't be able to help you if
you have any questions or problems with the unit-
they're not warranteed by any company, so on one hand,
it's buyer beware, but it IS a cool thing to have, as
you can use genesis 2 av cables to play the games on
your tv- someone can watch while you play, or in
two-player games, you can plug a controller in, and each
person will have his/her own screen...=^P

the game axe is a portable famicom system NOT
made or endorsed by nintendo of america. it's a
backlit system with a decent resolution (slightly muddy,
if you ask me), and can cost anywhere from $65 to
$250 or more depending on where you find it. people
here in the states sell it sometimes with a converter
that's supposed to allow you to play NES games. this is
pure nonsense, unless you have two broken arms and are
in an iron lung. the nes carts are too big, and
stick out from the gameaxe unit, meaning it looks
stupid, and plays worse. one slight wobble, and the nes
game either shuts down or freezes completely. not good
at all. if you buy one, be prepared to track down
some famicom carts as well. i have a few at
www.bidville.com , my username is spartan-x...=^P

Any body have any idea how to repair the backup
ram. I opened up my unit thinking I just had to
replace the internal battery, but I didn't see any. It
doesn't save my high scores and games. I haven't beat
Dracula X yet because I have to start over from the
beginning again every time I play.

Thanks for the feedback -- I've got a PC-FX game
or two to add there. I usually make updates by the
weekend. The white Saturn will likely never come down in
price, as it's been sold. :)

DC games... I've got
a few, but nothing anyone's really going gaga over

Well, since you can no longer sell on e-bay and I
can't bid on yahoo I check your site almost daily. Any
chance the saturn (white) unit is going to come down in
price anytime soon? :) And are you going to get any
more DC games in? :) And I'm always checking out your
scan sections. Especially the pc-fx stuff..

Depends, do you want it for collectors purposes or just to play? I personally
only bought games in the case w/manual. Seems to much money for just the cart.

Damn. Now I wish I lived there. There used to be
some games at TRU, but, nothing is left. I've checked
some of the local mom n pop game stores, & they have
nothing. I suppose, I'll have to go to Game Dude, & other
shops in the Valley. Oh joy!

Just a quick poll:
I'm going to be putting
some videos on the ole' site soon -
http://www.classicgaming.com/japangaming

Does this sound
like a good idea? I hate hit counters,
so I don't really know how many people check the
site and how frequently. If this becomes a regular
update, what kinda vids would you like to see? The first
will only be openings of games.

2: In an effort
to get rid of some inventory, I've posted some items
on Yahoo, which are going nowhere -- you could
likely get these
cheap.
http://user.auctions.yahoo.com/user/mda3212?

3: Anything
else I have for sale is on the for sale
is on the FS page on the site.... I need to add
about 10 Mega Drive games, but not much else over
that.

L8r

Not right now. It's too much hassle for me. BTW, that Metal Slug is at 22,
but, it doesn't have the box or instructions. Is that still worth it??

it'd be cheaper..

Yep, I only ever ended up playing the rom. Might be cheaper just to get the
flash card, and the hardware to make your own games. :) So then, the gb
multi-carts are definetly worth it?
