So, it's basically number 5 huh? That's cool. So
it actually has a full story? I've never played the
other, cuz I'm never had a chance to own them(I almost
got #1, but, somebody grabbed it by the time I came
back to the store). Actually, there are games I have
that I've never had a real chance to play. Maybe if I
had 10 to 20 games like most normal human do, then I
would spend more timme on each game, but, I'm an
addict, & have over 500 games, that collect
dust(especially since now I collect Beast Wars & Beast Machines,
so I go out all the time looking for the ones that
are hard to get. Trust me, it takes ALOT out of my
life). Dreamcast is looking better in my eyes. I've
never been the biggest Sega fan. I used to hate them.
But, I reserve that for Nintendo. They seem to think
they know what they're doing, but, it's gonna be
awhile before I buy an N64! And since I don't like
Nintendo, I want there Dolphin to suck! I don't want to
have to buy another nintedo system, just to get the
newest Final Fantasy. Which wouldn't be until #12, if
ever.<br><br>My PSX is my 2nd favorite system(Turbo first), but,
what I really want is NEC back in the game(without
Sega) & kicking ass! I want a new Bonk! I want a new
Y's! I want Zonk 3, Cosmic Fantasy 5, Exile 3, you
know what I mean? It's been too long!

Yeah, yer right, atleast about the Duo-R being
white. Just got mine. Good enough for me, as I don't own
any arcade card games. Finally got to play some games
that I've not touched in ages, although I've not had
much tame, mainly due to the Tokyo Game Show.

Sorcerian comes out here later this month,

Here's why I asked if there was a PC-Engine
version of Dragon's Lair. For anyone who has any of the
TurboPlay mags please refer to the Dec./Jan. 92 issue, page
9. There is a pic. of Dragon's Lair and a reference
to it being released for the Duo in the near future.
Here's what it says for anyone who does not have a copy
to refer to. "If NEC does bring the Duo across the
ocean to us, look for eight games to be available by
Christmas. Some of the games that are out in Japan or are
planned for the new system are: Prince Of Persia, Raiden,
SFII, DRAGON'S LAIR, Dragon Slayer, Populas, Forgotten
Worlds and R-Type, with many others planned." This
article suggests that it was released or in the works, so
if anyone knows FOR SURE I would appreciate knowing

If you popped the disc in and watched
it....<br>You'd get really confused.....<br>All the scenes are
broken-up, kina in order...<br>With the reverse versions not
far after the "normal" versions.... It's still fun to
watch though! You get to see Dirk "go" all kinds of
funny ways, all in a row! I have a VHS copy of the
footage from Dragon's Lair, Time Warp, and Space Ace I
"obtained" some time ago......

Here's a question, if you popped in the laser
disc or dvd could you watch it from start to finish
without having to actually play? I loved time warp but I
always just wanted to watch the game flow like a movie
from start to finish.

loved the games. Then Space Ace..<br>And the small
release of Guy Spy.<br><br>Ever since then I have tried
to find the perfect version of this
game,<br>everything from my first version on the Amiga which I
thought was cool, to the PC (sucks) and of course Sega
CD, Jaguar CD, yes I owned them all. No system was
ever able to make a decent version of the game until I
came across the CD-I. The CD-I is my favorite system
for these games. They are arcade perfect with no
deleted scenes, and the animation is clear, not choppy,
or blurry, its the best version.<br><br>- Dragon's
Lair<br>- Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp<br>- Space Ace<br>-
Brain Dead 13 (not bluth, but great on cd-i)<br><br>Now
with the even better DVD versions, my cd-i is
collecting more dust than ever. The DVD versions are better
than the arcade, with clearer images. The arcade was
Lazer Disc.<br><br>Even if the game came out on
pc-engine, it wouldnt look good.<br><br>What looks coll as
hell is the Gameboy version coming out. How they did
this i dont know, but it looks great!

Agreed, the more games a system has produced for
it-the higher the percentage of sub-quality games.
Nintendo (8-bit) had 771 games, atleast 400 of those
weren't worth the plastic they were made with..
Playstation has roughly the same amount and probably the same
amount of bad games if not more.

Exactly, I love my turbo stuff.. but I'm not
about to dump it all just so I can rush out and buy up
all the new gorgeous systems. If NEC was to make a
new system I'd buy it in a second. But, I'm against
buying a sega dreamcast as I've never liked sega
stuff-ever. I owned a second hand genesis for a couple of
weeks and I hated the thing. A master system sells for
around 2.99 canadian for a bare console at our store..
heck one went for 69 cents the one day it had been
there so long and I still don't like em' really.. I
don't like Sony playstation systems as they all pretty
much suck in no uncertain terms. 90% of the games on
the old playstation 1 are all port overs from the
pc... and they look better and play better on the pc.
Nintendo, Neo geo and NEC are the only companies I like,
atari is non-existant anymore so I can't count them. I
sold my n64 and my games but, they too get pretty
crummy after awhile. So, I'll wait and see how the
dolphin fares.. in the mean time I'll scoop up more turbo
games and enjoy..

What exactly is Phantasy Star Online? It's not
Phantasy Star 5. I don't personally care about playing
games over the internet, so, if that's all it's for,
then I won't bother. However, it would be nice if they
released the new Sorcerian game in the states! I'm a
sucker for anything made by Falcom! The make some damn
good games!
