I've got some bad news and some possibly bad news.

PC engine CD's and Turbo Duos generally don't liked
burned media.

The Japanese Duo-R takes it a bit better.

My Suggestion is that you try using a really good CD,
like Sony, and burn it at 1X (yes one-X) (using
dao-96, I think (I would check on that))
