My Duo RX   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #9319 of 9392 |
I finally got myself a Duo RX a few months back and am very happy
with it except for the fact that it doesn't like cdr games. I
couldn't play Ys IV with the english patch without the CD music
cutting out(all cdr's play fine in my Turbo Duos).

Although I'm not too fond of the D-pad on the controller, its not
nearly as bad as everyone says it is.

I really like have the A/V out at the back center of the unit,
instead of it sticking out the side like the Turbo Duo.

I sent it to D-Lite to get the following modifications: S-
Video/Composite/Stereo outs, Region switch, Blue LED search light.

He's had it for at least a week now and I'll hopefully have it back
again soon. Once it does return, I plan on taking it in to a local
shop that does chrome plating to price out having the outside body
and the shell of a duo pad plated.

I also recently bought a DLP projector with a 93" screen. It
basically looks as good as or better than a Plasma screen but it as
big as I want it to be(up to 25'). This is where the S-Video is going
to really come in handy and I plan on getting another Duo modded with
an RGB out if its compatible with the projecter.
