R-Type Complete isn't so hot. They kinda wrecked the game with the
soundtrack.

I don't remember if the music is actually lame, but it definately did
not fit the game and was totally different from the awesome original.

The 'cinemas' are also a waste of a good opportunity.

You're better off just picking up the Turbografx version of R-Type on
HuCard which has the complete game and way better music(I prefer it
to the arcade).

Side Arms is awesome and better than arcade perfect other than being
only single player.

That looks about right to me, except maybe some other versions of Sidearms might be missing (Hyperdyne Sidearms?)....

The arcade original and Hu Card versions are titled Hyperdyne Sidearms. The CD game itself, which features the HuCard game and an entirely new 'remixed' game...
