Its been awhile since I played through TMII, but your thoughts about
the ending seem right.
I'd guess that the old vine problem was probably pretty much the same
deal: evil Daimon Kyo stir up trouble, Fire clan comes to the rescue.
TM Ziria is in the same time frame. You'll see characters from both
TM 1 & 2 in Kabuki Den.
eBay's the best place to pick up Neo Metal Fantasy cheap, but none
are up right now. I'll try to snap a few pics soon.
Well, Kabuki Den is important to me because of the impact it had on
me at the time, like music bands are with most people, but it's still
better than anything(in my biased opinion).
As strong as it is in every aspect, its how it all comes together so
right that makes it so good.
Plus, it excells in the one category where most games are lacking:
style.
Trust me, if you finish Kabuki Den, you WON'T be dissapointed.
The music is better than ANYTHING, seriously.
The voice acting is also as good as anything ever recorded.
The cinemas on a technical level, are up there with the best of PCE,
but surpass everything else artistically.
If you like TM, and you like FF, you'll love Kabuki Den("someone put
FF in my TM!").
Kabuki and the villian, among other characters, are cooler than
anyone else.
Pretty much, Kabuki Den is just plain, -the greatest.
