I've heard the best Raiden 1 is on the Jag. I
gotta pick it up one of these days. Yeah, the PSX is
pretty faithful, but the music stinks!! I actually like
the Turbochip music better then that, & better then
the Gen & SNES versions as well, but, ofcoarse, Super
Raiden is very well done in my opinion. It's just a
shame that all they added to it, was better music. I
hate when they do that, like with Bonk 3, Altered
Beast, Daisenpu, etc.. Anyways, there's a few good
shooters for PSX. R-types, In the Hunt, Thunder Force
5(assumingly better on Saturn), Raystorm & Raycrisis. Also,
R-type Delta is really cool. It's 2d based. In
otherwords, it's side scrolling rather than 1st person. Oh
yeah, same goes for Einhander. But Saturn & Turbo rule
for shooters. In my opinion, Turbo is better, since,
the newer shooters, they tend to put too much on
screen at once, & it gets confusing!! But, with the
Turbo, they can't put too much on there, without
crashing the system.
