I bought my first SFII CE back when it first came
out.

It was during the height of the SFII
craze, before the other home versions. When everyone was
so desperate to play as the bosses at home that they
were trying that fucked game genie boss trick for SFII
SNES.

It took weeks to show, because the store only
shipped by UPS.

When it finally arrived, it was
on the very same day my mother, brother and I were
leaving on a 2 week road trip to Washington. Luckily, my
mother waited until we were able to pick it up before we
left.

I bought it with the orange kisado convertor, and
brought it with to play on my Turbo Express with DC
adaptor.

What was going to be a tiresome roadtrip, 3 of us
crammed into an F150 driving for days straight, became
one of my most memorable Turbo events.

My
brother and I played through until we'd beaten the game
with each character on the hardest
difficulty.

It also looks and plays amazing on the
portables.

To this day, I can play every bit as fast with the
two button/select swap controls, as anyone using a 6
button pad.
The one game I wanted back in the day was SFIICE. Well, I finally got it yesterday, and...it's Street Fighter II:)

Still, it's pretty amazing to see ...
