User base of PC-Engine and TurboGrafx

Well, here's the breakdown
geographically:

PC-Engine/TurboGrafx Hucard systems: (including
SuperGrafx)

Japan - 3,920,000
Outside Japan -
1,700,000

PC-Engine/TurboGrafx CD, SCD, DUO systems:

Japan -
1,920,000
Outside Japan - 100,000

PC-FX

Japan only -
290,000

The outside Japan figures include the rest of Asia,
where PC-Engine was quite popular. Therefore, the US
market is considerably small than those figures. You can
see why not too many games were made for US
version.

Vince
