Well to make the images for the clubs I took a
Halo pic, then put a special effect called "inner
glow" on the pic. It makes a color of your choice fade
into the pick, I chose white to give it a sort of
"carved" look. Then I took the Xbox Council logo I made
and made the image "multiply" in the image layers to
make it look transparent. You'll have to read the
Fireworks manual to get the hang of that.<br><br>The Xbox
font isn't a font it's a logo that I
shrunk.<br><br>However the other images to the other groups and clubs
are fonts that I have found on the net.<br><br>As for
that cool grid thing. I would think that Kildean, I
beleive that's his user name, knows a little about SSI,
or server side includes. He puts a remotely hosted
script link to an image directory of some sorts in the
group and it pulls an image and puts it in the group.
It's easy to do and I know exactly how to do it but I
don't think it looks to good. The actual pic looks
fantastic, he's got some serious graphic design skill, but
when it's just loppped up there it looks weird. That
and if Yahoo! found out they might make him take it
down because it blocks the ads on the main page. I
wouldn't want to cop his style anywho, it's hard to be a
graphic designer and be orignal, especially on the
internet, of all places.<br><br>He also had images rotate
in the old clubs. He used a simple CGI image
rotating script for that one. I thought about that awhile
ago but I never thought that Yahoo! clubs would have
accepted a CGI URL. He seems to take this seriously so
more power to him.

I got a couple more questions for you? OK for
example your Club pic for The Xbox Council. how did you
make it, did you just take a normal Halo Pic from a
site and make it transparent and put that green circle
in the middle and put a X thru it and how do you
make that cool font? another one is Xbox Central Group
pic? It has alot of xbox characters around it? did he
just take some xbox pics and make them transparent and
put them on a banner and put that cool clear grid?
and how do people make that cool xbox font and all
those other fonts?

Well, I think im going to start off by buying
Dreamweaver4.0. I will try to master that program as well as i
can. I just need some money now. THen maybe later on i
will buy fireworks and see how it works, I mean im a
student so i can get it half off anyway.

Oh and about you mentioning "smooth." It's nice
that you noticed that because that was my goal. I'm no
graphics artist (yet) so I knew my sites wouldn't be drop
dead gorgeous. On the other hand I knew the do's and
do not's on structuring data and information. So my
goal was to make all information on my site easy to
read and easy to get to, or in other words, make it
"smooth."

Well to make the actual web pages I only used
Dreamweaver 4. So for the HTML, Javascript, and page layout
which includes the text and graphics placement I used
Dreamweaver 4.<br><br>Now to make the graphics, buttons,
logos, and all the other graphics I used Fireworks 4.
Which you can also find on the Macromedia site. You'll
see some images that look like a picture of the
desktop, I used a screen capture program that takes a
snapshot of an active program window. I use "Screen
Print." You can find it and learn more about it here at

it's a free program but it does the
job.<br><br>I'm not a founder anymore because one, I don't have
the time to post news and be very active anymore.
Two, I'm kinda sick of clubs and groups. I'm putting a
real forum on The Gaming Council website so we can
ditch these clubs and groups by summers end. I think
we'll keep for a little while after the site redesign
is done but not too long. Three, I can't stand it
when you ban someone and they can come back under a
new screen name, it's so annoying. Why ban if they
can just come back? The forum bans IP addys not
screen names.

Modchips days are numbered. Sony has been really going after modchip
manufactures lately. Nowadays if a mod chip pops up then Sony snatches 'em up
legally.

Anyone know where i can buy a modchip that i don't need to have a gameshark cd
or i dont' have to swamp at all?

Yes, I respect you a great deal for your website
design. I got a couple of questions. Did you design those
sites with just Dreamweaver or other programs as well.
Im thinking about buying Dreamweaver4.0 to help me
in my webdesign. Yeah webdesign is very frustrating,
especially when you have very little software to help you.
Your sites are just so smooth, the graphics are
perfect. I want to learn everything. Im getting close but
need some help. One more question? How come your not a
FOunder of any of the your older clubs like ps2 council
and the xbox council?

Web design can be fun, but it's also very
frustrating as well. If you resepect becuase you think my
sites are good then I thank you. d2o Studios and d2o
Productions will get redesigned when I get out of college.
They will be Flash sites. The Gaming Council is
getting redesigned this spring and will launch at the end

Smitty,<br><br> Silent Hill 2 rocks man it's the
real reason why I bought my ps2 being that I was
hooked to silent hill on psx and when the sequel came
out I knew i had to get it so I got me a ps2 and the
rest is history........i am very glad i made this

silent hill 2 well it's about a guy name James that gets
a letter from his wife that's says to go back to
silent hill and meet her but the problem is that his
wife has been died for 2 years so It's quite
interesting how a ded women can send a letter to her alive
husband,But i tell you Smitty this is a must buy man you have
to go thru silent hill and different parts of it and
contuine till you fine James wife........it's got great
graphics,music and characters and i tell you try playig these in
the drk by yourself it's creepy the music and all
man,I tell you man this is a must buy you will love

Ive been working of webdesign for about 1 year, I
have had to work with little or not software, im a
html wiz and a javascript, i consider myself a very
good designer, I respect you alot.I respect anyone who
can make sites like that, it will take me alot more
time but eventually i will become a very skilled
web-designer. Im only doing this for fun, im going to major as
COmputer Engineer when i get to college.

Whoa whoa there, hold on a sec. Software won't do
squat for you if you don't have the desire, motivation,
determination, and passion for what you want to do. I've read
hundreds of pages and books on HTML, Web Design,
Webmastering, Java, XML and all kinds of stuff. I even took a
class in Web and Graphic design in High School and I've
read software manuals out the wazoo. You need the
knowledge first, then you practice making websites and
graphics and you will develop the talent and skill over
time through discipline.<br><br>If you develop the
skill, the talent, and have the knowledge, then yes,
Dreaweaver can help, key word is help, you make a great
site. Take it from me. It'll be years before start
making the good stuff. I'm about a year and a few months
into web and graphic design and I'm just starting to
see the fruits of my labor. <br><br>It's a tiring,
long, never ending process but the rewards make up for
all of it in the end.

I tell you it blow's madden 2001 out of the water
it is amazing with me thinking that on madden 2001
that the player's looked real..........man was I wrong
madden 2002 player's and the coaches look amazing just

Bills 34-3.<br><br> Metal Gear Solid 2-Sons of Liberty
is a brillant game have not got into just yet but I

the two games it was soldout so I will get this one

psx cllecton and my ps2 collection and really smiling
about what i have done in over half a year with getting
my psx in june 2001 and now having 28 games and

difference between Madden 2001 and 2002. One of my friends
claims that they are the same, but I think that 2002 has
many improvements in the graphics area.<br>Also, let

They say that SoE is a fun game but it gets old
quick. It's like the pick up and play gameplay of Crazy
Taxi. Fun for a half-hour but it sucks hours at a time.
I'm still debating whether I'll pick it up or not, I
am getting Hot Shots Golf 3 though. :)

arrive within the next 2 days. Does anyone own it? If

use Macromedia Fireworks for graphics and Macromedia
Dreamweaver for designing the actual web pages.<br><br>You

d2o Productions? That's my web and graphic design
site which I finally got done recently. It's all HTML
that was coded by a page editor called Dreamweaver. I
go in and edit the code as I see fit. The site isn't
flashy, or all that good really, I just wanted to put
something up do I could get my work out there.<br><br>There
is one Javascript script but it's only for my
counter. It's on the main page, the little blue and black
circle. But I didn't write that code, stats4all.com did.
