I agree. I'm not sure the shot guns were the best way to go. It's a neat gimmick, but they aren't quite as satisfying as the handguns.
I haven't heard of any PC version of VC3. But you never know. Sega seem to have taken a moderate interest in PC development again, so maybe one day.
I also really like the old American Laser Games titles (Mad Dog McCree, Who Shot Johnny Rock, etc.). They're cheesy as hell, but they bring back good memories.

Yeah The house of the dead series is cool, how could anything with
zombies in it not be. I have only played hotd3 once at the acracde,
it was pretty good, but that shotgun was way too heavy, it felt like
my arms would drop off afterwards, it should be quite fun with the
act labs gun though. I hope australia gets a retail release. Also is
there any word on a PC port of virtua cop 3? that was a pretty decent
sequel.
