The only problem with the top loading NES is its lack of AV ports. I
found this site http://www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/nes2avmod.htm which
shows you how to do it (most people should know of the site). But I
dont have the guts to pull my top loader apart. It took too long to
get one and I dont want to risk pulling it apart yet.

By the way http://www.gamesx.com/index2.htm is a great mod site. It
has mods for heaps of systems and lots of information.

If your nervous to do it you could always just buy a polystation and use an adaptor to play nes games. That was my solution. Works nice and has a famicom slot...
