Re: Newbie to minimig

Hi,

My monitor is an "old" 20kg CRT with the following characteristics:
Horiz. freq.: 30-86kHz
Vert. freq.: 50-120Hz
Resolutions: 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480

I cannot try with another monitor at the moment, but I will do asap.

I live in France, so my power supply is 220V/50Hz.

I found that my "kick".rom" was only 256kb, so I fixed it and it is now a 512kb
Kickstart v1.3.

Here is what I do:
- I format a 2Gb SD (non HC) using the "SDFormatter V2.0" Panasonic utility
- I put "spihost.rom" (the one from "Files > old stuff >
Minimig_DE1_config_13.zip", is it OK?), "menue.sys" (from "Files >
minimig090911_DE1_V21.zip") and my "kick.rom" on it
- I insert the SD card into the socket
- I connect an RS232 to the serial DB9 and launch HyperTerminal
- I switch on the DE1 board
- I send the original (from "Files > minimig090911_DE1_V21.zip")
"minmig_de1.sof" to the board using the USB-Blaster
- I set all SW1-3 and SW9 to ON
- I switch the SW0 from OFF to ON
- on the RS232, I get the messages as described in my previous post (just more
"*" with the new 512kb "kick.rom")
- LEDs are flashing in a pattern
- on the 7 segment display, I get "000"
- nothing is displayed on the screen, whatever the SW9 position

Any idea? Is my "spihost.rom" good?

Michel
