made corrections to improve the quality of the Heroes of Might and Magic IV=

This update is intended for use with English (United States) versions of th=

Macintosh OS. Use of the update on other language versions of the
Macintosh OS may result in errors that can render the game unplayable on
your system.

1. Installing the patch

The Update file is compressed. You will need a compression utility
such as Stuffit Expander(tm) to unarchive the files.
You can get a trial version of Stuffit Expander by going to:

Uncompress the Update to extract the updated Heroes IV application,
updated
Campaign Editor application, and Read Me v2.3.txt files to
the Finder or the desktop.

Open your <Heroes IV> folder and create a new folder inside of it
called <backup>

Move your original <Heroes4> application file into the <backup>
folder you created in the step above.
Move your original <Campaign Editor> application file into the <backup>
folder you created in the step above.

Move the updated <Heroes4> application, <Campaign Editor> application
and <Read Me v2.3.txt> files into your <Heroes of Might and Magic IV> folde=
r

Double click the <Heroes4> application file to run the updated
version of the game

*** Please note, if you have had problems installing the game,
after running the update Heroes4 application, you may be prompted for disc =
2
in order to complete the copying of the <heroes4.h4rfile (approx 580
megabytes) ***
