I haven't had problems with either of these games crashing on me. I wonder
if you might be close to the minimum memory the game wants?

But yeah, the Heroes III and Heroes III Complete games are very stable
compared to a lot of what is out there. The game has crashed on me a
couple times, but it's not a common thing.
