As far as I could tell as there were no real guidelines, and I expect
there to be loads of games going through nintendo submission that
might fail (unless you're a biiiiiiiiiiiiig japanese games developer).
After testing all the released games multiplayer facilities (and
noting that I could actually get Wai Wai to irrecoverably crash) I
programmed a multiSIO set of handler routines, that basically
achieved exactly the same front end operation as FZero. Everything
seems to recover from all kinds of *multiplay* situations now.
A nice generic front end system is great too - for all those
potential game flow changes :)
