Mordor has been moved to August 1st

There is still a couple of spaces open for Mordor, so invite friends
that you trust to join this group and enter their friend codes to the
databases.

As for the future, many of you know that the DS Lite is coming out
pretty soon. Given the high chance that I will buy the import, I
might have an extra DS coming in March. This means there is potential
to have yet another always on town, one that would be set for those
that do not like to time travel and want a town set in the present.
So for those that hate time travellers, don't give up hope.

I've closed the polls and the result show that we are keeping mordor
and setting the game to summer. I'm going to set it to 6 months from
present. Once that happens, outside of slight interactions within the
game, my role with mordor will just be to reset it every time it
crashes.

That said, I'm really happy that we got to form this group and that
I've had a chance to interact with a lot of you online. I found a
turnip price of 475 at Nooks at mordor as a reward to all of our
charter members. I've closed off membership to the group until we go
official. Anyone who is a member but has not entered their friend
code to the database should add their info so I can add you to mordor.

I started a poll with 2 choices. Due to possible high traffic,
people's schedules, mordor going down or too many people in mordor, I
decided we could do one of two things, stay the course and have mordor
go official tomorrow morning (I'll keep the price as is up until then)
or for those who want to be able to buy turnips on Sunday, I can keep
mordor at the same day for a week, so everyone will get their chance
to sell turnips. So please cast your vote at the polls.

Once again, thank you for joining the Friends of Friend Codes and for
adding to the entertainment value of Animal Crossing Wild World. I
think Nintendo hit a home run with this game and this is just the
beginning for them. Remember the online friendships that you make
now, you'll carry forward into future online gaming. I hope I'll see
you all when the Revolution comes!

In response to Jason's post:

While I, myself, do not time travel I'm not against going to Mordor while it's
not set in present
time. I've been there many times and I simply do not fish or catch bugs while
I'm there. I pick
fruit and/or bring fish I've caught in my town to sell. I like that Nook is open
there when mine
is closed.

Even if the date is current, there will always be a time difference for those
who are not in the
eastern time zone.

Personally, I think it'd be boring if the town's time was set in the present day. There aren't any good bugs to catch and the fish (with the exception of the tuna and stringfish) are so hard to catch. There are so many better fish and bugs to catch in the summer.

Personally, I think you should just set it to present day. Those
against time travel, such as myself, might refrain from visiting
Mordor if the time remains set in the summer. I can't speak for
everyone else, but I know I won't be visiting so long as Mordor is set
outside the current date. However, if it were set to present day, no
one would really have a reason to stay away. But that's just what I
think... You're free to do as you wish...

Place your vote at the polls on whether you want to keep mordor as
well as what time period you want it set at. Starting Feb 1st, I'll
do what the polls tell me and I won't mess with the town. From that
point out it will be a community town. What you want to happen in the
town is based on the community.

As far as the in-game character, I'll use him as if he was another
animal in town. If you want him to do something, send him a letter
with specific instructions and if its not too time consuming, I'll do
it. If you send him furniture, he'll use it and recycle old
furniture. If you send him money, he'll pay off his debt.

Remember it's not my town, its yours as well, so there is no need to
ask permission to do anything. Most of all have fun!

Yes, its true. People online have had their towns hacked. It can
happen if someone goes into your town with a special hacking
software. They can edit your town and leave, forcing you to save
their edits.

Those of you who do not want to add strangers on the database into
your town, that's fine. You can still be connected to the Always On
Town. It never travels to your town and only accepts people. I
would suggest that if you're wary, visit the Always On Town and meet
people that way. If you decide to trust them, then register each
other.

This site is not really advertised and only has my personal friends
who I trust and folks from the GameFaqs queers posting, so unless
someone from there leaks it to a hackers or was trying to infiltrate
and hack queers, I think its reasonably safe. But its up to your
discretion.

I had an excellent record on Mario Kart DS actually. Some 700 - 800
wins and around 200 losses, but that's aside the point. The game is
boring as fuck. Just redundant, vapid gameplay from beginning to end.
The game SHOULD encourage that a variety of strategies can be used in

impossible to counter by any means other than to do the same yourself.

Much like the Nintendo Iwata letter with the Mario Coin
sent/received after New Years, today people began receiving a blank
letter addressed to your character. It contains a Red Tulip, but
shows up as a furniture icon and not as a flower bag.

***DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR HOUSE AND SAVE***

It disappears and takes up one spot in your home. You cannot pick
it back up. You will not be able to place furniture or move
furniture to that spot. I am unaware of a fix at this moment.

There is a cool aspect to the glitch. You can drop it on concrete
on your town and it will show up as a red tulip growing on the
ground. If you pick it back up, you will not be able to replant it
in the concrete.

Other known facts about the bug:
-It sells for 80 bells at Nooks
-the from name to the letter is corrupted
-If you plant it and pick it back up, it becomes a real red tulip

Ok, well the consesus seemed that people have gotten attached to
mordor(before someone got vindictive and reset my poll...) so I
guess we're going to keep mordor instead of starting a new town. If
anyone hates mordor and wants a new town, they'll have to loudly
object in a post.

I'm keeping the poll up for what time period to set for Mordor.
Currently I've been keeping the test town permanently at day so
people can always go to Nooks, by doing two days for every one day -
New day beginning at 8am EST and again at 8pm EST. By Febuary 1st I
want to make an official decision and set guidelines for the town,
which we'll carry on from that point forward.

I personally don't mind Mordor jumping around in time, but I do
think its unfair for those who want to raise flowers, establish
relationships with animals, etc as it can really distrupt things
especially if someone is stuck with that mom cat and mordor has
moved to a time where the kitten is gone. That's why I'm not so
into jumping around when the town becomes official. I do like the
summer idea but having days opposite everyone else's time to
encourage people to travel to each other's town's during the day but
also have a cool place to go at night when your Nooks is closed.
Plus you can effectively encounter all four seasons of bugs and fish
in 6 months rather then a year. That's just my two cents. Nothings
official, your opinions still count.

Play in mordor. Get a feel for what you like. I'm still expecting a
couple of girls to join shortly.

Just a reminder, if mordor goes down tonight, it will stay down.

Please add yourself in the database section under Animal Crossing
Friend Codes, so we can get your information. I'll then add you to
the Always On Town, mordor and you can add mordor's info.

Don't sweat it if people don't register you right away. Visit
mordor, and you'll start to meet new people and just remind them to
click Register and select your name to instantly transfer friend
codes.

That said, I'm going out tonight, so if mordor goes down, it'll stay

I guess you really don't have to get your hair dyed every color. You might not
even have to try
every cut. It's hard to say how many times you have to go to the salon and talk

before you get the option of other hair styles.

I expected to dye my hair pink today but instead, when I got in the chair
Harriet said that
feminine cuts on boys are the latest craze.

Mario Kart DS got very old very fast. The variety in playing styles
seen online waned away in no more than a couple of days. Now all you
see are players that choose the Egg 1, Dry Bomber, and to a lesser
extent, the Poltergust 4000. It's boring and redundant. The
