Welcome to all the new members that Lohan invited to Caprica and
special thanks to everyone for actually helping to make a Yahoo
group that honestly I'm shocked that...  A) I use  B) I post to and
C) actually increased in activity in the last month.  Believe me,
I'm stunned!

So I'm gonna throw up a quick contest for those who actually read
the messages and play daily!

Here are the rules:

You have until 10:45pm EST/ 9:45pm Central / 8:45 Western to visit
either the Village or Caprica.  Send a letter to No. 6 or Cylon
guessing the winning Megaball number in tonight's $267 million
lottery.

Send, just ONE NUMBER between 1 and 46.  The winner will be the
person who guessed the number closest to the Megaball number drawn
tonight.  In case of a tie, the finalists will be contacted for a
seperate event to determine the winner.

What you win:
I'll send you a brand new sealed copy of Majesco's Kong: King of
Atlantis GBA game.  The winner will provide me with an address to
send the GBA game to.  (I know its craptastic, but its free - so
shut it!)

*All Skyworks Employees (Yes, we developed this game, but I don't
want to hear any lip from the winner) are barred from this contest.

Lohan and I will close the town at the appropriate time and force
the mail so we can determine the winner.  A message will be posted
on who won.

Caprica City is up and runnin everyone. I added a bunch of hybrids and stuff all arround town.

I also added a bunch of Royal Crown, this will fetch you a cool 300,000 bells each when you sell it at nooks. So take a couple each. I also added a few PickMin, Metroid and a bunch of rare stuff all arround stuff. And a few gold tools.

Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Error (86534)

A network communication error occurred during the matchmaking process.

What to do (Home):

If this error occurs only once in awhile or if you are at a Hotspot location, it is likely due to congestion on the internet or a connection problem being experienced by you or the other player(s).
To ensure the connection isn't dropping on your end, check the following:
- Low battery power on the Nintendo DS (the light changes from green to red when battery power is low).
- Signal strength from the access point is low. Move closer and try again.
- Check for wireless interference. Devices such as cordless phones and microwave ovens should not be in use.
If you are experiencing this error every time you try to connect, there could be a problem related to your firewall. For more information on firewalls and the Nintendo WFC, click here.

Firewall compatibility

Whether you're using the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector or a wireless router, firewalls and other computer security programs can be very tricky to get working when attempting to do online gaming. Anti-virus, anti-spyware, software firewalls, and firewall-enabled routers can affect communications within your network. You may want to consider temporarily disabling, or removing, these products installed on home networks to enable game play. If this is not the approach you wish to take, below are some guidelines for how your firewall or security program needs to be adjusted. While Nintendo makes a concerted effort to test and document known incompatibilities with software and hardware, it is impossible for us to test and document them all. Allowing TCP and UDP Traffic:
The Nintendo DS requires unrestricted access to several sites across various ports and protocols to function correctly. These addresses and ports vary according to game, and may change in the future without notice. Many software firewalls restrict outbound access. Only if your firewall blocks outbound traffic do you need to enable this traffic:

TCP:
Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443

UDP:
Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer connections and game play). The Network Test tool can be used from a computer behind your firewall to test if outbound UDP is allowed.

Please note that by allowing the traffic to the destinations listed above, you are essentially removing a significant amount of firewall protection for your network. While Nintendo provides this information for our consumers' use, it is up to each consumer to determine what security needs they have for their own networks, and to decide how best to configure their network settings to meet those needs.

I think Lohan is action replaying the town to fill it with tons of
rare goodies for everyone.  It might take awhile but it will
definitely be up before the end of the night.  Keep checking, it will

Ok ill try to be on then and my gates will be open cause you have the

I've replaced my modem and my internet is back up to its normal speed,
so I'm now hosting the Village again.  Thanks to Lohan for hosting
both towns last week (even though it caused a snafu with his ISP
capping his internet speed due to constant traffic)
