Subject: [fofc] Codes of Conduct

So I guess we have to agree on a code of conduct when visiting
towns.  Send me anything that you think I missed.

-No burying pitfalls in front of gate (There is a known bug
concerning this which makes the gate disappear)

-No Chopping trees
-No deliberate destruction of flowers, especially rare flowers
-No picking up items, fossils, fruit, etc off the ground unless you
ask for permission (Shells by the seashore are up for grabs, but not
those in the town)
-Ask permission before you buy from Nooks or Able (except letters,
bottles, tools and medicine)
-Be kind, pick weeds
-Shaking trees is ok
-Digging holes is ok (as they fill back up when the hosting ends)
-No deliberate removal of designs on the ground
-All fish and bugs are up for grabs
-Ask before you take fruit from trees
-Ask before you swap design in Ables
-Ask permission if you can take from the dumpster
-Digging up fossils and gyroids is ok, but ask permission before you
keep


That said, my rules on my town are quite looser.
-Feel free to take fruit, fossils, gyroids or anything you shake out
of a tree or find in the dumpster
-Feel free to buy anything you find in Nooks or Ables
-Don't worry if you trample flowers or pick up designs, but just
don't do it willfully
-Feel free to take non-rare flowers from the west side of town (Ask
before taking a jacobs)
-Feel free to swap any design as long as it doesn't belong to a
visitor in the town
