For Immediate Release:

Atari Video Club/Jaguar Community United is pleased to announce that they are
returning to WI on June 3rd and 4th,2006 for The Midwest Gaming Classic
to host the Jagfest Section at the show. At the 2004 show we had a good turn
out on the first day of the show, and we want that trend to continue.
AVC has been involved with Jagfest since 1997 when the first Jagfest was
held in rosemont,IL and we enjoyed being part of the festivites in some way
or form at other shows. In 2004,AVC decied to stop producing thier Jagfest
issues when they released their final Jagfest issue which covred all shows from
1997 to 2003(U.S. and Overseas).Daniel Iacovelli,AVC/JCU chairperson, recently
announced that they are going to be producing a special black t-shirt to
commemorate Jagfest 10th year anniversary coming up in 2007. the front of the
shirt will have the Jagfest on tour logo and below that the words in red "1997
to 2007 ten years and still growling".
The shirt is scheduled to make it's first appearance at the Jagfest section at
Midwest gaming classic, where AVC will be taken orders for it. Also AVC
announced the jagfest on tour t-shirt and the Final Jagfest issue cafepress.com
version (autographed by Daniel Iacovelli) will be doanted as a prize for one of
the Jagfest tournaments.(plans are in the works for t-shirt and jagfest issue
package deal as well in the future if sales goes well)
The Jagfest on tour shirt will be sold at exclusively at AVC news stand at
cafepress.com: http://www.cafepress.com/avcnews .

A few new items are now available at the Songbird online store:

* NEW Jaguar game boxes and manuals -- I recently printed new full-color boxes
for Phase Zero Demo and Protector SE. The latter also has a brand new glossy
B&W manual. This means the old Protector SE packaging is no longer available
(see last bullet below, however). All PZ and PSE game cartridge orders since
12/05 will automatically include the new packaging. I should also point out I
have not changed the labels or the game binaries on the PZ and PSE carts, so I
am offering an option to simply buy the packaging stand-alone for those fans
who already have these games.

* Telegames Jaguar releases -- I have very few (5 or less) units of each
Telegames release in stock, including rare titles like Towers II and Iron
Soldier II cartridge.

* As many of you may know, I quit producing the original Jaguar Protector game
when Prot SE was released, since Prot SE is (in my opinion) a superior game and
I wanted Jaguar fans to know their original Protector carts would hold some
value by limiting the run while offering Prot SE on an unlimited basis.
However, over the years I have received several requests to produce more
original Protector carts, which I have declined until now.

I have about two dozen original Protector boxes left. I have no plans as far as
I can see to ever reprint these boxes. So, I am offering the fans one last
chance to order an original Protector game cartridge complete with box and
manual. This is identical to the Protector game released in 1999. The price is
$69.95 plus shipping, just like it was in 1999 for those who pre-ordered the
Songbird games.

If you would like to order one, please send an email to sales (at) songbird
(dash) productions (dot) com. If at least a dozen people sign up, I will make
one last run of carts in the next couple of months. Let me know if you have any
questions. And long live the Jaguar! :)

For immediate release:

ROCHESTER, MN -- Songbird announced today the immediate availability of Total
Carnage for the Atari Jaguar. Total Carnage is the classic arcade game
originally ported by Hand Made Software and licensed from long-time game
publisher Midway.

In Total Carnage, one or two players assume the roles of Captain Carnage or
Major Mayhem in a tongue-in-cheek frantic assault on the dastardly forces of
General Ahkboob. There is an unending -- often overwhelming -- number of
enemies pursuing the heroes at all times, but thankfully there are also many
powerups, bombs, and even missile strikes to assist players in their quest.
Player strive to rescue civilians and collect valuable items such as keys,
dogtags, and more.

Songbird founder Carl Forhan spoke enthusiastically about the release, saying,
"This is a great port of a classic arcade game which I know Jaguar fans have
been anticipating for many years. I'm thrilled to finally be able to publish
this never-before-seen final release candidate version of the game." Total
Carnage is now available for sale through the Songbird website. Orders are
expected to begin shipping next week.

CLASSIC GAMING EXPO RETURNS TO E3

History of Videogames Exhibit set to rock Kentia Hall

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORK – May 13, 2005 – CGE Services Corporation,
organizers of Classic Gaming Expo, today announced that they will be
returning to E3 with their acclaimed “History of Videogames” exhibit. CGE
staff will be on hand to answer questions about the upcoming eighth-annual
Classic Gaming Expo that will take place August 20 and 21, 2005 in San
Francisco, and to remind show-goers of the rich history of video gaming that
is often overlooked in today’s fast-paced gaming industry.

“We’re thrilled to be returning to E3 this year,” said John Hardie, founder
of Classic Gaming Expo. “E3 is the video game industry’s biggest show and
we’re proud of the fact that Classic Gaming Expo has been recognized as the
premier show dedicated to the preservation and celebration of video game
history. E3 is the perfect forum for us to show people the importance of
archiving and preserving video game history for future generations of
gamers.”

Sponsored by TechnoSource USA and Intellivision Productions, the Classic
Gaming Expo exhibit will encompass over 2,000 square feet in Kentia Hall and
will be open for visitors all three days of the May 18 - 20, 2005 E3 show.
Last year’s “History of Videogames” exhibit garnered some of the top awards
handed out at E-3 including “Best of Show” by PC World Magazine and the #2
spot in G4 TV’s “Achievements in Booth Design. “Show-goers can expect to
see all of the features they loved from last year’s exhibit,” said Hardie.
“We’re bringing back the arcade machines and home consoles as well as the 80
’s living rooms and D.J.” CGE show organizers welcome appointments with
press, exhibitors and potential sponsors.

Classic Gaming Expo 2005 will take place at the spectacular Hyatt Regency
Hotel in Burlingame, Calif. the weekend of August 20 and 21. This is the
first time CGE will be held in San Francisco. As the show has grown in
popularity and attendance, show co-organizers John Hardie, Sean Kelly and
Joe Santulli made the decision to move the show to a larger venue while
still maintaining a family-friendly and intimate atmosphere near San
Francisco.

Classic Gaming Expo is open to anyone with an interest in video games – both
classic and modern. Information on attendance, ticketing and past events is
available at www.cgexpo.com.

CGE SERVICES CORPORATION ANNOUNCES SHOW DATES AND NEW LOCATION FOR CLASSIC
GAMING EXPO 2005

Eighth Annual Classic Gaming Expo Moves to San Francisco

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORK – March 30, 2005 – The 2005 Classic Gaming Expo will be
held Aug. 20 and 21 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the San Francisco Airport in
Burlingame, Calif., its organizers announced today. Now in its eighth year,
Classic Gaming Expo is the world’s largest event dedicated to the preservation
and celebration of video game history. Classic Gaming Expo organizers chose the
location because of its vast show space and the proximity to San Francisco
tourism opportunities for visitors.

“Last year, we were excited to move to the area where the video game industry
was born,” said Joe Santulli, co-organizer of Classic Gaming Expo. “This year,
we’re tweaking the location to bring back the signature intimate atmosphere of
the show, which was lost in the cavernous San Jose Convention Center. Classic
Gaming Expo is meant to be a gathering of people who love video games. We want
to ensure that everyone feels at home at the show, and the Hyatt’s warm
environment is perfect for this.”

The Hyatt Regency at the San Francisco Airport is the largest convention hotel
in northern California, one of the few places able to accommodate the estimated
1,700 people who attended last year’s expo. The Hyatt is located two miles from
the San Francisco Airport and the Bay Area Rapid Transit system, and offers
complimentary shuttles to both. The 20-minute trip to downtown San Francisco
should also appeal to attendees making Classic Gaming Expo part of their family
vacations.

In 2004, people from all over the world attended Classic Gaming Expo to see the
latest offerings from exhibitors, visit the world’s largest and most
comprehensive video game museum, play classic and modern games and meet the
luminaries of video gaming’s past and present. Notable personalities such as
Steve Wozniak, Nolan Bushnell, Ralph Baer, Al Alcorn, Jay Smith, David Crane and
other celebrities have attended past shows and spoken to Classic Gaming Expo
attendees.

Classic Gaming Expo is open to anyone with an interest in video games – both
classic and modern. Gamers of all ages are welcome. Information about
ticketing, attendance and past events is available at http://www.cgexpo.com.

THE ATARI TIMES ANNOUNCES THE AVAILABILITY OF THE 2005 COMPENDIUM
January 31, 2005

For immediate release:

WINTER HAVEN, FL - The editor of The Atari Times (www.ataritimes.com)
has announced the completion and availability of the annual
paper-based book titled the 2005 Compendium. Copies are now available
for sale at www.cafepress.com/ataritimes.

The book is 102 pages of news, features, reviews, and previews for all
Atari home systems that have appeared on the website over the 2004
year. These include articles for the Jaguar, Lynx, 7800, 5200, 2600,
home computers, and even the arcade systems. In addition, the 2005
Compendium includes 45 pages of previously unreleased material and a
beautiful full-color cover.

Gregory D. George, editor and writer for The Atari Times commented,
"The theme for this year is, 'Where it all Started.' Certainly, Atari
is the reason we are all enjoying video games today. This is a book
that celebrates the introduction of Atari and video games to the world."

"This was a fun book to put together, even more so than previous
books, because there is a huge amount of new content. Some of the best
new material includes a chat with famed Jaguar playtester Lance Lewis
(who reveals the secrets inside of Tramiel controlled Atari), TAT's
Top 10 Consoles of All-Time, Atari at the Ballpark (covering Atari
baseball games), a reminiscing of Atari titled 'Antique Electric
Dreams,' an exclusive review and play test of the Atari 7800 Cuttle
Cart 2 (which is thankfully back in production), pages and pages of
new 2600, 7800, Lynx, Jaguar, 8-bit, Atari ST, and arcade game
reviews, and much more."

"The quality of 2005 Compendium is better than ever because it is
printed through CafePress.com instead of at my local print shop. I'm
very pleased with the high quality job CafePress.com offers," said Mr.
George. "We also have some great sponsors of the book this year and
I'd like to thank Songbird Productions, Good Deal Games, Orphan Video
Games, Video Game Connection, and Packrat Video Games for making it
possible."

From January 31, 2005 to February 7, the price of the 2005 Compendium

Hello,

Just letting you know about my plans for the 2005 Compendium. Have a
great 2005!

THE ATARI TIMES ANNOUNCES THE 2005 COMPENDIUM

January 1, 2005

For immediate release:

WINTER HAVEN, FL - The editor of The Atari Times (www.ataritimes.com)
has announced the upcoming February 1, 2005 release of the annual
paper-based book titled the 2005 Compendium. Copies will be available
for sale at www.cafepress.com/ataritimes.

The book will be at least 100 pages including news, features, reviews,
and previews for all Atari home systems that have appeared on the
website over the past year. These include articles for the Jaguar,
Lynx, 7800, 5200, 2600, home computers, and even the arcade systems.
In addition, the 2005 Compendium will include over 45 pages of
previously unreleased material as well as a color cover.

Gregory D. George, editor and writer for The Atari Times commented,
"My previous 4 books have been quite successful and I have been very
pleased at the response I received from the readers. This particular
book will have more new material never printed on the website."

From February 1, 2005 to February 7, the pricing for the 2005
Compendium is $13.95. After February 7, 2005, the price will be
$15.95. Shipping charges also apply.

Continued Mr. George, "As with last year's book, the 2005 Compendium
is seeking sponsors and advertisers. We are able to reduce the ad
prices drastically this year thanks to the fact that we are printing
the book through CafePress.com instead of local channels. Full page
ads are $10, half page ads are $7 and quarter page ads are $5. The
only requirement is that the ad be something Atari related. To buy an
ad, please contact Greg George at http://www.ataritimes.com/email"

Hi everyone,

My name is Alex Varanese and I'm one of the developers of the
XGameStation (www.xgamestation.com), a new homebrew video game system
designed to teach its users how to build and program their own video
game machines from the ground up. We're posting about it here because
we feel a group like this would be interested, and we welcome
feedback. We aren't using bots and this isn't automated spam.

Here are a couple of hi-res images:
http://www.xgamestation.com/pr/xgs_micro_web_res_hw_grey_poster.png
http://www.xgamestation.com/pr/xgs_micro_web_res_kickass_poster.png

The following press release explains the details of the system:

The highly-anticipated XGameStation Micro Edition (XGS ME), the
world's first do-it-yourself video game console, is now available.
Designed by the world's best-selling game programming author, Andre'
LaMothe, the XGS ME combines today's technology with the design
methodologies of retro systems like the Atari, Commodore and Apple.
For the first time, a single product is available to teach its user
how to build a video game machine from the ground up, with complete
documentation.

The expansive eBook, written by LaMothe himself, covers everything
from introductory electronic theory all the way up to computer
architecture, as well as a complete coverage of each of the XGS ME's
subsystems. Imagine learning everything about how a video game console
is built and programmed from scratch: designing and printing circuit
boards, generating TV signals, external device interfacing, and much
more. Universities are already incorporating the XGameStation into
curriculums, and hobbyists that have followed the development of the
system for the past year are already building an active community
around it.

The XGameStation Micro Edition is the first and only way to learn the
black art of video game console design from the ground up, and is
available now from the official website (www.xgamestation.com) for
$199.95. Everything you need to get started is included; the console,
all necessary cables and power supplies, LaMothe's expansive eBook, as
well as countless extras.

If you would like more information, would like to receive our official
press kit, or have questions or comments, please let us know.

Thanks again for your time!

Atari Video Club Officially Opens News Stand
For Immediate Release:
October 18th, 2004:

The Atari Video Club is proud to announce The Grand Opening of the AVC News
Stand.
Dan Iacovelli, AVC/JCU Chairperson, started opening the news stand back in June

of 2004 with the Final Jagfest issue, and later added the other 6 six Jagfest
issues to the news stand every 10th day. The news stand is actually a reworked
version of the old back issue pages from AVC online the clubs website (which is

still accessible but only through the news stand).
The News Stand has images from the covers from the issues as well as full
descriptions of the issues, plus an extra feature to the news stand is that
fest issues are not only available in normal print versions (as they have been
in the past) as well as in PDF form but will also be available at
cafepress.com.
Currently as of this writing only the Jagfest issues are listed on the news
stand as well as the programs from our computer and video game trade show The
Video Game Summit (the programs are only available thru Cafepress.com (the 2004

stand at cafepress.com (http://www.cafepress.com/avcnews)
(this is where all the jagfest issues are at as well)).

AVC also announces plans for a new magazine only to be available thru
cafepress.com To be entitled "Into The Zone". This magazine is actually a
combination of 2 regular Atari Zone issues (Regular issues are
uaslly 12 pages long). Regular Atari Zone issues will still be available in
normal print and PDF forms) The first set of "Into The Zone" issues will
actually come from the back issues of the Atari Zone (while there are a few
back issues that are more 12 pages long they won't be combined but will still
be called "Into The Zone" for the cafepress edition (the normal version will be

called "the Atari Zone").
"Into The Zone" is most likely to debut some time early next year (it won't be
available by subscription though but the Atari zone issues will still be)

CGE SERVICES CORPORATION ANNOUNCES THE

Classic Gaming Expo 2004 COLLECTOR'S EDITION DVD

Two-Disc Set To Be Packed With 3+ Hours of Footage

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORKAugust 25, 2004 Disappointed that you missed Classic Gaming Expo 2004?  Perhaps you went and had such a great time that you’d like to relive it all again?  Whichever the case, now you can experience all of the excitement of CGE 2004 at home.  The organizers of Classic Gaming Expo have announced the upcoming release of the Classic Gaming Expo 2004 Collector's Edition DVD, the first and only official video document of the video game industry’s largest show dedicated to the preservation and celebration of video game history.

The two-disc set, to be produced and distributed by GameVideo Productions, will offer more than three hours of exclusive content, including highlights of every keynote speech, biographies of all the gaming "alumni" in attendance, interviews with exhibitors and attendees, an excerpt from the critically acclaimed documentary Once Upon Atari, an interactive tour of Classic Gaming Expo's world-renowned museum, and additional DVD-ROM content.

"I'm thrilled to be producing CGE2K4 Collector's Edition DVD," said Zach Meston, president of GameVideo Productions, and a 15-year veteran of the videogame industry. "Gaming networks and websites offer brief and unsatisfying glimpses of Classic Gaming Expo, but the Collector's Edition DVD will capture everything that makes CGE so great. It's a perfect memento for CGE attendees, and a perfect gift for gamers who couldn't make the pilgrimage to San Jose."

"Even the most fanatic of classic game fans can't attend Classic Gaming Expo every year," adds Joe Santulli, Classic Gaming Expo co-organizer. "I'm truly excited that Zach has taken on this project, because it ensures that the magic of the show will be captured on DVD."

CGE2K4 Collector's Edition DVD ships in mid-September with an MSRP of $24.99 and is available via Classic Gaming Expo’s website at http://www.cgexpo.com/dvd.htm.

CLASSIC GAMING EXPO ANNOUNCES LARGEST GATHERING OF EARLY VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY CELEBRITIES IN THE SEVEN YEAR HISTORY OF THE SHOW

Over 50 Of Video Gaming’s Brightest Stars Will Meet Fans And Share Stories

At August 21 & 22 Show In San Jose, California

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORK – August 4, 2004 – It will very likely look like a wild class reunion as over 50 of the people who helped lay the foundation for the multi-billion-dollar video game industry gather at the seventh-annual Classic Gaming Expo (CGE).  These gaming pioneers will meet their fans, greet former colleagues and share their experiences from the earliest days of video gaming.  Included in the stellar lineup are Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computers; David Crane, Allan Miller and Bob Whitehead, three of the four founding game designers of Activision; Al Alcorn, designer of Atari’s Pong; Jay Smith, designer of the only vector-graphics game console, Vectrex; and many more.  It is believed that the August 21 & 22, 2004 show at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center will mark the largest single gathering of video game industry founders at a fan event ever.

“We are deeply touched by the outpouring of support for Classic Gaming Expo from the people who started it all,” said John Hardie, co-founder of CGE Services Corporation.  “I and my fellow organizers, Sean Kelly and Joe Santulli, never dreamed that such a gathering would be possible, but the people who had the foresight to imagine a new form of entertainment and make it a reality have also shown they are willing to look back and preserve the history they made and share it with the fans that so admire their work.”

In the history of Classic Gaming Expo many of the most respected names in video gaming history have attended the show and given keynote speeches on their roles in the history of video gaming.  Ralph Baer, father of TV video games, has attended multiple times.  Nolan Bushnell, founder of the first all-video-game company, Atari, made an appearance at CGE in 2003.  Activision’s numerous game designers from the first half of the 1980s have also been regular attendees and supporters of CGE.  The list of celebrity attendees reads like a who’s who of the early years of the video game industry.  For a full list of the video gaming celebrities attending CGE 2004 visit the CGE celebrities Web page at: http://cgexpo.com/guests.htm

Classic Gaming Expo 2004 will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, August 21 and 22, 2004 and is open to anyone with a love of video games.  Additional information on attending the show can be found at CGE’s Web site: www.cgexpo.com.

CLASSIC GAMING EXPO AND VIDEO GAME COLLECTOR MAGAZINE

JOIN FORCES TO BENEFIT SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Group Of Rare Video Game Items Will Be Auctioned With All

Proceeds Given To Special Olympics of Northern California

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORK – July 27, 2004 –  Classic Gaming Expo (CGE) and Video Game Collector (VGC) magazine today announced that a group of rare video game items will be auctioned off at the annual Classic Gaming Expo show auction held in San Jose, August 21, with all proceeds going to Special Olympics of Northern California (SONC).  In addition, all proceeds from the rental of tables in the swap meet room will also go to SONC.

"We are really proud to be a part of this," said Shawn Paul Jones, publisher of Video Game Collector magazine.  "It is important to us that we can share our enthusiasm in more ways than just being a sponsor of Classic Gaming Expo. Video games let you be a hero or champion, but Special Olympics helps people become champions in real life."

VGC’s contributing editors have banded together to donate several rare video game items for the auction, including: an NES “top loader”; a vintage Atari 2600, mint in box; and video games from the contributors' private collections.  Also, all bidders who win items donated to SONC receive free autographed copies of Video Game Collector #1.

The CGE auction will take place immediately following the close of CGE 2004’s first day on Saturday, August 21.  In the past, the CGE video game swap meets and auctions have seen some of the rarest and most-sought-after-by-collector items change hands.  They have proven to be two of the most popular events at the show.  All attendees are invited to bring their rare video gaming items to the show and sell them at the auction.  Attendees are also welcome to bring video game paraphernalia to donate to the group of items that will be auctioned to benefit Special Olympics.

Classic Gaming Expo 2004 will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, August 21 and 22, 2004.  Additional information on attending the show can be found at CGE’s Web site: www.cgexpo.com.
