WANT THE EBIVISION GAMES?

Many people have been looking for them, Merlin's Walls and Pesco from
Ebivision for the Atari 2600. AtariNews has discovered that Hozer Video
Games is manufacturing and selling them for $20 each. If you are
unfamiliar with these games, Merlin's Walls is a First Person 3D game,
and Pesco is what Pac-Man should have been. Hozer Video also sells
other new 2600 games like Edtris, INV, and Oystron. You can even find
hacks of older 2600 games, giving them different graphics. This
includes Beast Invaders by the Yak himself.

NEW UPDATES TO THE PORTABLE VCS

Like the Lynx, and now, the new Game Boy Advance, the portable VCS has
gone horizontal. The 4th revision, which was the last version that was
held vertical, included a newer, higher resolution screen. It was also
the first unit to include a paddle. Now, with revision 5, the whole
look changes. It still includes the new screen and the paddle, but now
it has a second controller port for two player action.

UPDATES TO PROTECTOR: SPECIAL EDITION

Songbird Productions has been hard at work on Protector: Special
Edition. A good chunk of the new graphics and many other features have
been updated. Carl Forhan of Songbird is still looking for landscapes,
saying "I've got lots of red/rock/desert/ landscapes already, how about
something different like a mining colony, domed cities, spaceport/launch
pads, etc.?" If you're going to Jagfest 2001, Protector:SE will also be
on display, and Carl has also said "fans will be in for a real treat
when they see this game in action at JF2K1."
