Very
true. The best option would probably be to show your kids how to use the
styluses properly. How old are they, by the way?

I've had a DS since it came out and I also have a
Lite. I've never had an issue with the styluses. I would say that your kids may
already be doing damage to the screen if they're pushing that hard.

My kids got DS Lite's for xmas (Santa had to work really hard to find 2!) and have been addicted ever since (both crazy for Nintendogs). Both had GBA's before and never played this much.
I fought buying anything non-GBA for ages. Then I saw a bunch of titles for DS that looked really cool and
got lucky enough to score a DS two days before Xmas. I'm personally addicted to Phoenix Wright...no OBJECTION!!! here.

Yes, I
believe so. The DS, as with all handheld gaming machines I know of, doesn't
have region coding. So all US, UK
, and Japan DS games should be able to play in any DS worldwide.
Go to
the manufacturers website and see if hints are there
if not then email them, most of them will help you.

help Please?
Hi all, am new to the group and would like to ask if anyone can help.
My 9yr old has been playing monster house on the DS for a few months
and has got stuck at about 40% in the furnace room.
No matter what she does she gets killed and is getting very
exasperated with it.

The great thing about the Ds is that there is no region lock on it or
it's games. So yes, the game will work on your UK Ds.

I don’t
know, myself, but you should try looking it up on gamefaqs.com, they usually
have at least one walkthrough that’ll help you out of a jam.

You
obviously like the game, so that’s worth the buy for you. If you’re
asking about whether the DS itself is worth buying, then everyone I know who’s
bought one really enjoys it, so I’d say yes, it is.

Try either Castlevania games or either of the Phoenix Wright games,
the new one was just released. All four of those games are really
good. Phoenix Wright and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow are my all time
favorites.
Does anyone know how to defeat the robot in the laundry shoot? You
know the one where there are four color shoots and Cody shoots the
water bombs until the robot is stunned and then Zack pushes the same
color button. I have tried for a very long time for my six year old
and I can't figure it out and I am not finding any cheats anywhere on
the web. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just joined today. I've had my Ds for over a month now and loving it.
My collection is slowly growing, now to eight games, and one reserved
(Rayman Raving Rabbits). I'm a fan of the original Ds, having
specifically chosen to buy an Electric Blue one over a lite. Currently
I'm hopelessly addicted to Phoenix Wright.
Would love to chat with ya'll, especially other original fans.

From what I've gathered they have yet to release the Opera browser for the US yet. So if you get one imported it is somewhat slow as it's actually connecting to Japan or whatever country you imported from, then back to the site you asked for.
At the moment your best bet is to get a Supercard or similar combo and use the homebrew web browser. (or so I've heard)
as everyone knows, nintendo has recently released a web browser for the ds, is it as sluggish and awkward to use as the web browser on the psp, or a far more efficient and effective alternative?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but yes I love the wifi. I can speak from experience that with a single cart wifi game you just get in range of another DS and the other person can download the game from you and play with you.
I haven't done it myself, but you can also do the same over the internet as long as you are in range of a wireless internet access point.
I also like it for the option of browsing the internet, etc.
I have heard mixed things on having the wifi connection. It sounds
pretty cool, but I am wondering if it is really that east to connect
with others and play games. Let me know what you think.

Hey, I traded my PSP for DS Lite. I should have sold it to a friend for $100.
instead of trade
value for $85. I didn't care.
I got Nintendogs Dachsund, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon and Retro Atari. That's
3.5
games, since I don't count the Atari game aa a DS game.
Although Missle Command is a lot more fun.
I like the first 2, but I have not played HM yet. The review says it's more of
the same. I never
played the others.
Still, I want a game that had some effort put into it, so I'll trade HM for FF
3.
I bought FF 3 for the NES, 16 years or so ago. But I never played it. I only
bought it because
everyone else said it was good.
At that time, my fave NES game was Silent Service.
I was in the navy then; today, I'm not into wargames that much.
I'm also looking forward to the web browser.
