You are wrong, you didnt read what I
said.<br><br>The Saturn used MORE Custom Chips / CPUs than ANY
console ever built. For this reason it IS hard to write a
Saturn emulator.<br><br>Just take a look at how many
years its taken to make a full working Amiga emulator
to get some idea of what I mean. The Saturn is even
MORE complex and more powerful so its understandable
that its in the same position that Amiga emulation
was.<br><br>You are right that less people are interested in the
Saturn but as even the Amiga emulators usually have one
person writing each it doesnt make much difference to
how fast emulators get written apart from that the
author knows they will get more support. Then again
authors arnt writing these things for the users anyway,
they are doing it for the challenge.<br><br>There are
more Saturn emulators than Amiga emulators however so
your logic really doesnt add up. Yes there are more
PORTS of Amiga emulators but they are all based on the
one emulator so you cant exactly count
them.<br><br>The Playstation emulators arnt terrific either to be
honest. And they came about quickly because unlike the
Saturn, Playstation IS easy to emulate because it uses
fewer processors.<br><br>If you disagree with what im
saying then just try talking to the Saturn Emulator
authors - they will confirm what im saying about how
complex the Saturn is hense its bloody hard to
emulate.<br><br>Just look at how much CPU power the Genesis emulators
needed - add to that the fact that the Saturn uses for
sound alone the CPU that drove the whole of the Genesis
and you will understand WHY it takes so much effort
to emulate the Saturn.
