About Myself:
I've been running websites for quite a few years, mostly amateur

www.gameboyland.com, but I am now a Gamecube guy. I dislike the PS2

is to become a professional stuntman and actor, much like my hero
Jackie Chan. My stunt site: http://www.dreamcast.ca/thestuntkid

have been Mp3 Sites, Clan Sites, Community sites, and of course
business sites for clients. The best part of working here is I get
free Game Cube games and pizza thanks to Matt's deal with Nintendo.
Feel free to mail me if you have something that needs to be fixed on
the site. Complaints are for Matthew and so is everything else.

Hey punks and punketts. This is my time now; you are in my world so
hear me out. I am going to school to become....i dont know. but my
majors are Math/Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering. Who knows
which of those I'll actually finish. I love gaming! Its been my
favorite hobby since I got the NES in 3rd grade. I trust in Nintendo
and God. Mainly God, but if you make me choose between a friend and
Nintendo, theresults are going to be ugly. My other interests
include basketball, instruments, acting, acquiring knowledge, or
even jumping off cliffs into a freezing river. But when it all comes
down to it, I am here to serve. I will be slaving away whatever
hours I don't have homework to bring you the best I can in info, so
you better read my work or I will visit your house with a truck full

It's simple. I love video games. Playing them, watching them be
played, reading about them, collecting them. I'm really interested
in the video gaming industry as well as just playing them. My
favorite companies are Nintendo and Sega, with Capcom just a step
behind. I'm also into music, mostly non-lyrical things such as
trance, classical, jazz, some techno, and of course, video game
music.

About Myself:
Hey everyone, I'm a 20 year old gamer that's been playing games
since I was about 5. Nintendo has always been the best company in
the gaming industry in my opinion. I also have to admit I have a PS2
and an Xbox, but they are under a massive amount of dust right now!
I also like to watch movies, hang with friends, and just take it
easy. I am glad to be a part of this site, and I hope you guys like
what I do!

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Warp Forward 12 hours: Play the first 3 notes of the song of time
like this: Right-C, Right-C, A, A, Down C, Down C.

Slow Down Time: This one's easy... simply play the song of time
backwards! I don't know if it works on the American version

Slower time with normal movement: Play the folowing on ocarina.C-
down, A, C-right, C-down, A, C-right

Flower Jump: As the Deku Scrub, you'll have limited powers of
flight. To use them, stand on a Deku flower, then press and hold
A.Once you've burrowed into the flower's bud and a puff of pollen
pops out, release A to rocket into the air and hover with your petal
props. If you hit B while in midair, you can drop Deku Nut bombs.

Easy win: In the first dungeon, when you go against the three
turtles, you don't need bombs, go in the flower as deku link and fly
out just as they go over the top of you. It's a really easy win.

Masks: One of the key aspects of the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
are the unique masks that Link will find throughout the game. Some
will transform Link into new forms, while others have very limited
uses. There are a total of 24 masks in the game, and you can find
them listed below:

1. Deku Mask: Link begins the game with this mask. As the Deku
Shrub, he can hop on top of water a couple times, as well as shoot
bubbles at enemies. Also, the Deku Shrub can burrow into flowers and
then shoot into the air – gliding down slowly.controls: A: Spin B:
Shoot bubble

Bremen Mask: Link receives this mask from the weird guy in the
Laundy Pool area of Clock town at night during the first or second
days. It is used to herd chicks in the ranch, which will get you the
Bunny Hood.

3. Great Fairy Mask: You get this mask by returning the second lost
fairy to the Great Fairy. It can attract Stray Fairies in dungeons.

4. Bunny Hood: When wearing this mask, Link runs at an increased
rate. You get it by using the Bremen Mask and herding all the chicks
in the Chicken Coop of the ranch during the day.

5. Mask of Scents: Follow the Deku through the tunnel (use the Bunny
Hood to keep up) that is to the left of the Deku Palace. The mask
can detect scents such as mushrooms.

6. Goron Mask: Play the Song of Healing for the old Goron ghost
after following him to the Goron Shrine. The mask turns Link into a
Goron, complete with increased size and strength.
Controls:
A: Curl (hold down A, and then press up to build speed)
B: Attack
If you hold down A and then press B, you will do the Goron Stomp.

7. Romani's Mask: Complete both Romani's and Cremia's notebook
entries. This mask gives you access to the Milk Bar in Clock Town.

8. Kamaro's Mask: Play the song of healing for the guy dancing on
top of the mushroom to the north of Clock Town. He is only there at
night, and the mask allows you to dance.

9. Blast Mask: Stop the thief after midnight during the first day in
North Clock Town. You can blow up objects using this mask – just
like a bomb, but you will loose one heart per blast.

10. Kafei's Mask: Speak to the woman in the Mayor's House in East
Clock Town. Used in a couple notebook quests.

11. Captain's Hat: Defeat the sleeping skeleton in the graveyard.
The Hat allows you to speak to the undead.

12. Mask of Truth: Complete the first Spider Dungeon. It allows you
to speak to the weird stones around the world.

13. All Night Mask: Stop the thief on Day 1, then buy it for 500
Rupees from the curiosity shop on Day 3. It allows you to stay up
late and listen to the old lady's stories in the inn.

14. Stone Maske: Use the Lens of Truth near the entrance to the
graveyard to find a soldier. Give him a red potion to get the mask.
Some enemies will not notice you while wearing this mask.

15. Keaton Mask: Go to Kafei's house in the afternoon of the third
day after you take the pendant to Anju. Wear this mask and slash at
the bushes that move (like the ones in North Clock Town) to make
Keaton appear. Answer his quiz questions correctly to get a Heart
Piece.

16. Don Gero's Mask: Light all the torches in the Goron Village,
then use the Goron roll to destroy the barrels on the chandelier.
Take the chunk of meat to the shivering Goron in the mountain
village. The mask will allow you to speak to frogs. See the Frog
Locations below.

17. Zora Mask: Push the sick Zora to the shore in the Great Bay, and
then play the song of healing for it. The mask turns Link into a
Zora.
Controls: A: Swim B: Dive R: Energy Field

18. Garo's Mask: Ride Epona into the racetrack on Milk Road, and win
the race to get this mask. This allows you to get into the Canyon
area.

19. Postman's Hat: Can be used to open mail boxes in Clock Town. You
get his mask by going through the Kafei notebook entry until you get
the letter to Aroma. Give it to the postman, and then talk to him
about it.

20. Circus Leader's Mask: Go into the Milk Bar, and help the Zora
with his sound check by playing the instruments while wearing each
of your three transformation masks (Deku, Goron, Zora) and as Link.
If you wear the mask during Cremia's notebook entry there will be no
attackers.

21. Couple's Mask: Complete Anju's notebook entry by recovering the
stolen mask. Wear this and speak to the Mayor after 10pm for a heart
piece.

22. Gibo Mask: Play the song of healing for the mummy in the Canyon
house to get this mask that will allow you to speak to Gibdos.

23. Giant's Mask: Kill the Eyegore in the Inverted Stone Tower. This
mask makes Link big.

24. Fierce Diety Mask: First gather all of the other masks in this
list. Then, complete the mini-dungeons at the end of the game, and
you will get this mask. It turns link into Oni Link.

Finding Stray Fairies: See a stray fairy that you GOTTA have, but
can't reach it? Just wear the fairy mask that the first great fairy
gave to you for putting her together, and the stray fairy will come
to you.

Easy money in Clock Town: Go to east clock town, and go up the set
of stairs that are between the hotel and the milk bar. Then turn
right and right again and go up the stairs. Jump across the gap, if
you have the bunny mask on, then just jump across the gap, and if
you don't have the bunny mask on, then you have to roll into your
jump. Do the same on the next gap that leads to the basket above a
door. Then climb on the piller from the basket and jump to the final
ledge. Run around the building and you will see a chest. It has a
silver ruppee which is worth 100 ruppees.

How to get the "zora song": First, go get the FOUR eggs in the
gerudo pirate area (you need to have a minimum of 4 bottles if you
don't want to go through it again). Then drop the eggs in the
aquarium.
The other 3 are in Pinnacle Rock, the places are one of the holes
closest to the bottom of the water, one of the top two holes, and
under the holes right under the top two holes.
(I'm not sure if it'll work for yours, though). And if you're
confused in getting the eggs in the aquarium, climb up the ladder in
there, walk on the bars (near the wall that's connected on the back
of the aquarium),
and drop the eggs in. You'll know what to do after you learn the
song.

Easy Money: In West Clock Town there is a lottery shop buy a ticket
choosing any 3 #s wait until 6 o clock pm if the numbers are wrong
just warp back to the first day remember the winning #s buy another
ticket using the same numbers and wait till 6 or just warp ahead
youll get 50 ruppees Note: Must be same day you bought the ticket

Unlimited rupees: In zelda 2 go to the sword training center, in
there you'll find that big gong... well if you hit (with a sword or
any other method) it enough times (20 or so) it'll give you 5
rupees, you can do this as many times as you want, and it'll keep on
giving you 5 rupees.

Easy Money: At South Swamp take pictures of an Octo and give the
tourist the picture. The guy will give you twenty rubies. No matter
how many times you do this he will give you twenty rubies.
Note:don't take the boat ride.

Easy Money Method 2: message: First go toTermina Field. Then,a
vulture will attack you when you see it or it sees you.If you can
defeat it, you win 200 rupees. You can do this as much as you want
to!

Adult Wallet + Razor Sword to Gilded Sword

Adult Wallet
In West Clock Town, deposit your rupees into the bank. When you
have 200 or more rupees in your account, you'll receive the Adult
Wallet. If you deposit to 5000 rupees or more, you'll get a heart
piece.
Razor Sword: To get a razor sword, do this. When you get to the
mountain village, continue up until you get the lens of truth, Goron
Mask, and Hot Spring Water. Once you have all that, go to the hut in
the mountain village and pour your Hot Spring Water near the hearth
(fireplace) to melt the ice. Once you've done that, the worker will
thank you and offer you a deal of forging your Kokiri Sword for 100
Rupees to the Razor Sword. Note that this takes a day, sword breaks
in 100 hits and can't be taken in time with you.

Gilded Sword
If you already have the Razor Sword, defeat Ghot at the Snowhead
temple to bring about spring. When that is done, go to the Goron
Village to see the Powder Keg instructor. Talk to him and he'll test
your Goron Skills of bringing a Powder Keg (explosive Goron Bomb) to
the "Unfrozen Lake". Hurry and get there and throw it up, and then
grab it. Follow these steps. When you get there, you'll see a giant
rock at the top, with "Crybaby Goron" up there. Throw your Powder
Keg up there and nail an arrow to it to let it blow up the giant
boulder. Go back to the Instructor to claim a certification and a
free Powder Keg. This Certification allows you to purchase Powder
Kegs in the bomb shop in West Clock Town. Now that you blew up that
boulder, go into the hole that you made appear when you blew up the
boulder. Inside, you'll see some Gorons. Talk to Crybaby in Goron
Form and you'll be asked to race the others. Say yes and the race
starts. This race is pretty tough, but when you get i!
nto your spiky form of rolling, bump into the other gorons to send
them going back making the race easier. Once you come in first
place, the Crybaby Goron will reward you with Gold Dust. Now if you
have the Razor Sword (see above section), then go to the hut in the
mountain village. Hurry though, since you have to bring the Gold
Dust and Razor Sword to te forger by the 2nd Night to get it
upgraded. When you're in the hut, talk to the forger and he'll ask
for Gold Dust. Give it to him and he'll take the razor sword to
forge. Come back tomorrow morning to receive your Gilded Sword! This
is the best sword. It does triple the damage of the Kokiri Sword, is
unbreakable, and can be taken back in time with you, unlike the
Razor Sword.

Easy Rupees throughout Termina: 1. In Clock Town go near the
Bombers entrance There'll be stairs.Go up them. Jump two times
Then jump on the two targets, on the ledge. Go up then turn right,
go down you'll see a chest. Open it you will get 100 rupees.

  2. In the Stock Pot Inn between 1:10 & 4:10. Talk to Anju she will
give you the room key. Go through the rooms. In each room you will
get rupees. You will get about 120 rupees.

  3. In front of Honey & Darling's shop, there are targets shoot them
both. You will get about 6-9 rupees.

Free Boat Rides and Money!: Go to woodland swamp and save the potion
witches sister. Then go back to th place that has a boat climb the
ladder and go in the building. go to the tourist information center
and you will get a free boat ride the first time. after that since
you have the camera take a picture of anything go back to boat
building talk to the big guy and he will offer you 5 rupees or
another boat ride take the boat ride and go to the deku palace
change to deku link and go see the king. Take a picture of the king
go back to boat place and he will give you 100 rupees.
Unlimited Rupees (PAL version??)

Go to steps above the Milk Bar in East Clock Town. Run up 'em and
you'll see a gap between the milk bar and Honey And Darling's. If
you have the bunny hood just jump, if you don't then rollinto jump
as normal Link. Keep jumping till you get to the other side. Keep
going until you see a chest, open it and you'll get 100 rupees. Go
to bank (west clock town)and deposit, then play the Song of time and
keep doing this until u have as many rupees as you want. This is PAL
I don't know if it works on the american version

How to get gold dust sword

Ok this is how you get the sword made out of GOLD DUST. First you
have to bet the snow head and make it spring go to the sword
sharpening store bye the RAZOR SWORD...but it breaks after 100 hits.
So you have to win the Goron race it took my a couple trys to win
keep trying. Than once you get the GOLD DUST when you win bring it
to the store before the morning than he'll give you the sword no
charge.

Heart Piece

Do u have a problem getting 5000 rupees for the man u have to
deposit money to the man in the east of clock work town well all u
have to do is to got through the south exit of the town and kill the
large bird to get 200 rupees all the time and keep on killing it
after u deposit ur money. After u have 5000 rupees u will get a
heart piece from the peasant (Man u give all ur deposit's to)

Easier Way To Make Money: Go to southern swamp pop Tingle's ballon
and take a picture of him. When you take it to the guy he tell's you
that tingle is his son, and he gives 100 ruppes for finding him.

The Great Fairy's Sword: In the dungeon in Woodfall Temple wear the
Great Fairy's Mask and catch all the stray fairy's. There are
15.Once you catch all of them go to Woodfall and go in to the
Fairy's Fountain. Once the Great Fairy gets her self back together
she will reward you with the Great Fairy's Sword which increases the
reach and strengh of your spin attack
The Larger and Largest Arrow Quivers: If you want to be able to
carry more than 30 arrows, go play the arrow shooting game in East
Clock Town(not Honey and Darling's, they only give you rupees).
Then go to the arrow shooting gallery in between Termina Field and
the Southern Swamp. It's hard but he'll give you the biggest quiver
(oh, and don't forget to shoot the deku scrub on the very left that
pops up at the end who made me waste about 100 rupees).

Bigger Wallet:Tired of only being able to carry 99 rupees around?
Well, if you take 200 rupees to the bank man in west clock town,
he'll give you the Adult's Wallet!!! It can hold 200 rupees!!!

Tons of Rupees!!!!!!: In East Clock Town, if you walk out side of
the Mayor's Office, to the left there will be stairs. Go up them
then jump across to the other platform(I think you have to be
wearing the bunny hood)then onto the platform above Honey and
Darling's shop. Then jump to the last platform, climb it and when
you get to the corner, turn to the right. Down lower there's 100
rupees!!! Go back in time and it's there again!!!
Another place is in the Bomber's hideout. Enter it and instead
of going froward, go to the left and follow the water till you get
to the gate. On the platform next to it, there is a crack in the
wall. Bomb it and there's another 100 rupees!!!

Ghost Box in Clock Town and where ever there are boxes to pick up.

In Clock town ( once your link ) go to East clock town and there are
two boxes near a big pole. pick up the box pressing the A button
then press R. Right once your out of the box do it over. But if you
don't get out your in the box. You can crouch and no one can see you.

Infinite Rupees
Go to the Bomber's Hideout with at least 1 bomb instead of going
straight turn left swim over to a platform and blow up the wall.
Open the chest inside and there will be 100 rupees deposit them in
the bank. Then go back in time and do it again. Also in east clock
town in the reserved room. There is one one a shops roof too, and
one more is the stock pot inn's employees only room. Finally if you
destroy the Takurri and you will get 200!!!!!!!! rupees

Giants Wallet and Heart Piece:Once you have gotten the hookshot and
the captain's hat go to the second spider house. Blast open the
crack with a bomb or blast mask. Then go down the hill to start
destroying spiders. I suggest using the inverted song of time,
down,a,up,down,a,up. If you beet it on the first day, then put on
the goron mask and roll up the hill you entered from. If done on the
first day a doy will be at the top and trade you the house for the
giants wallet. Now you can hold 500 ruppies! For the heart piece in
one of the rooms there are Stalchilds and masks on the wall. Talk to
the Stalchilds and using your bow shoot the masks in the order they
say. Go up the steps and find the heart piece.

Lots of Rupees

Go to North Clock Town with:

1.A reforged sword
2.At least 2 small jars of magic worth
3.Sword spin with level 2 magic(red not blue magic)

1.Press and hold B NEAR the moving bushes
(NOTE:when you do this do not strike a bush yet)
2.Power up the sword to red and a little longer(NOTE:if you start to
lose all your magic let go FAST during the next step)
3.Hold B while you move to the bushes
4.Let go and let 1 not get hit
5.Destroy the last one

If it worked the last one should be a red rupee.Leave and repeat the
full code.

Kill and Destroy Sakon

On the first Day when Sakon robs the old lady from the Bomb
Shop, take out your bow and arrows, then put Z-Targeting on Sakon
unless you have a perfect aim. Keep shooting Sakon until he blows
up, then you have destroyed and killed Sakon. It doesn't do anything
for the game but it sure is funny to watch.

Ride Epona in Clock Town

To ride Epona in Clock Town, do the following:

1.Erase slot one in saved games.

2.Start a new game in slot one, then do all the stuff up to until
you are a kid again and save at the South Clock Town owl statue.

3.Continue your game in slot two and call Epona in Termina field,
ride her to milk road and save at the owl statue there(don't get off
Epona though).

4.Start the game in slot one again and you will be on Epona! You can
talk to townsfolk(Even though they won't notice Epona) or even run
Epona through town. But if you enter a building Epona will ride of,
leaving you behind, you can also leave town to stop this cheat also.

Feise Diety Mode Outside of Boss Battles

To use the Fierce Diety Mask without going into the boss battles, do
the following:

1. Slap on the bunny hood and warp to the third day and warp to
Ikana Canyon.

2.Go to Sakon's hideout and look at the door, there is a crack, roll
to try to get inside.

3.Once your inside talk to Kafei, then you and kafei will reapeat
what you did during you attempt to get the couples mask.

4.While you are kafei, swich the bunny hood with the Fierce Diety's
Mask, and when you are Link again put on the mask, if you manage to
complete the maze, you'll come back out looking as Fierce Diety Link!

(P.S.: It might take a few times before you get into Sakon's
hideout.)

October 27, 2003 - Hines Ward lives the life. When he's not on the
field killing defenses with his blazing speeds and blindside blocks,
he's killing polygons in video game football.

NFL Blitz Pro captures Ward and other Pro Bowl players in Hawaii
playing the new Midway football game in between sessions of tanning,
drinking from pineapples, and doing the hula.

Click on the media link at the bottom of the page to see Ward and
his football friends acting crazy for Blitz in this exclusive piece

Easy Money
Outside Clocktown in the Termina field head toward the Milk Road.
Near the trees you will be attacked by a vulture who is ready to
steal your Rupees, and other items. If you are able to beat the
vulture you will be rewarded with 200 Rupees. You can deposit the
money in the bank and then go fight the vulture again. There is no
limit to how many times you can fight the vulture.

Fix The Signs
First cut up a sign then play the "Song of Healing" which is C-Left,
C-Right, and C-Down. The sign will fix itself. (aka Zelda's Lullaby)

Hint: Getting Bigger Bomb Bags
Large Bag: Save the old lady at midnight in North Clock Town, and
then buy this bag in the bomb shop on the next day.

Biggest Bag: Give the large bag and 200 rupies to the scrub near the
Goron village.

Jump Forward 12 Hours
Play this song with the Ocarina to travel forward in time 12 hours:
C-Right, C-Right, A, A, C-Down, C-Down

Masks Locations
One of the key aspects of the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask are the
unique masks that Link will find throughout the game. Some will
transform Link into new forms, while others have very limited uses.
There are a total of 24 masks in the game, and you can find them
listed below:
1. Deku Mask: Link begins the game with this mask. As the Deku
Shrub, he can hop on top of water a couple times, as well as shoot
bubbles at enemies. Also, the Deku Shrub can burrow into flowers and
then shoot into the air ? gliding down slowly. Controls: A: Spin B:
Shoot bubble

Controls: A: Curl
(hold down A, and then press up to build speed) B: Attack If you
hold down A and then press B, you will do the Goron Stomp.

You can blow up objects using this mask ? just
like a bomb, but you will loose one heart per blast.

Frog Locations:

1.Laundry Pool
2.River Ride
3.Woodfall Temple in mini-boss room
4.Mountain Village after the Snowhead Temple is cleared
5.Great Bay Temple in mini-boss room

Once you locate all of the frogs, use Don Gero's Mask to speak to
them. Re-unite them in the Mountain Village after you defeat Goht to
get a Heart Piece.

Slow Down Time
If you play the Song of Time backwards, time on the clock will move
slower, but you will still move at the normal speed. This is very
useful when running long distances or when trying to prolong game
time.
The song is: C-Down, A, C-Right, C-Down, A, C-Right.

To return the normal flow of time, simply play the song again.

Stone Mask Secret
A hidden feature of the Stone Mask is that it will camouflage Link.
This is helpful because most of the enemies will not be able to see
you. Bosses will still be able to see you, but most of the
typical "run-of-the-mill" bad guys will ignore you.

Useful Items And How You Get Them
Adult Wallet: Give banker 200 Rupees (or more) to get this item that
allows you to hold up to 200 rupees.
Giant Wallet: Complete the 2nd Spider Dungeon to get this item that
will allow you to hold up to 500 rupees.

Large Quiver: Beat the current record in the East Clock Town
shooting gallery to get this item that will allow you to hold up to
40 arrows.

Hero Bow: Found in Woodfall Temple, this item allows you to shoot
arrows. It includes 30 arrows when you first get it.

Bombs: Buy a Bomb Bag in West Clock town to be able to collect Bombs
and blow stuff up.

Bombchu: These are small bombs that run along the ground. You can
find them in a hole in the ground to the east of Clock town (near
where you enter the cemetery ? blow up a rock to find it), and
another hole along a cliff wall in Great Bay Coast (near the fairy
fountain).

Razor Sword: Visit the smiths in the cottage in Mountain Village
after you complete the Snowhead Temple, and pay them 100 rupees. The
sword will disappear if you travel back in time.

Gilded Sword: First, get the Razor Sword. Then win the Goron Races
to get Gold Dust that will allow the smith to forge you this sword.
It will not vanish if you go back in time.

Camera: Save the witch in the Southern Swamp. You can take pictures
with this.

Hook Shot: Found in the Pirate's Fortress. It acts like a grappling
hook, and will allow Link to pull himself to far objects. You can
also kill enemies with it.

Lens of Truth: Follow the owl across the hidden platforms in the
Goron Town to a cave. The lens will reveal that which is normally
hidden.

Powder Keg: Bought in Goron Town for 100 rupees after you complete
the seller's test by carrying one to the Goron Race Track and
clearing the entrance. You can also buy one for 50 Rupees from a
Goron in the Clock Town Bomb Shop if you are wearing the Goron Mask.

Bottles: Link can carry a total of six bottles that can be used to
hold various things. The locations of all of them are listed below:
1. Get the medicine for the sick witch in the Southern Swamp. It
will come in your first bottle.
2. Complete Romani's notebook entry at the ranch to receive the
third bottle full of milk.
3. Win the Goron races and you will get a bottle filled with gold
dust.
4. Win the Beaver races in Great Bay (you need the Hookshot to get
above the waterfall where they are held) to get this bottle.
5. Complete the cemetery side-quest to get this bottle.
6. Complete Madam Aroma's epic notebook entry to get the final
bottle.

No-Damage Blast Mask
Hold the R button to defend and then push the B button to active the
Blast Mask and you won't take any damage from the explosion. The
only drawback is that you can't move.

It's true. Ever since I beat Metriod Prime, I've been over my fear
of
energy
sucking, antigravity jellyfish things. And thanks to Zelda my fear
of
wind is
now successfully under control.

Unfortunately, just watching my friend play Eternal Darkness has
given
me
over a dozen new phobias, including a fear of spontaneously
exploding
while
trying to heal myself...

And M. Bison has given me nightmares ever since Street Fighter II...

They are actually gamecube games, not gameboy ones. But as for
info, I
am not sure they have even been confirmed as real games. I don't
think
there is much in the way of info, I am not aware of any release
dates
or
anything.

I myself used to have a fear of getting blindsided by Warren Sapp
while
waiting for my receiver to get open but after playing Madden and NFL
2K3, and realized that I can walk normally the next day, that fear
is
gone.

November 04, 2003 - Playing NFL Street isn't just about behind-the-
back passes, Gamebreakers, and legends. One of the most important
gameplay elements is actually the field you play on, and it affects
everything from the team you need to draft to the plays you need to
run.

When you hit the City Limits, AKA The Junkyard, you find yourself
playing in a huge mud field surrounded by Dobermans, construction
equipment, and huge crates that will rock you just as hard as a Ray
Lewis sack. But forget the obstacles and dogs for a second, because
the most difficult thing to deal with in the Yard is actually the
slippery surface you're trying to run across. Try to get tricky with
your Barry Sanders starts and stops, and you might find yourself
stopped straight on your ass.
The key to playing in the mud is to take advantage of your power
running attacks. Give the ball to The Bus and watch him send fools
flying, or better yet, bring in The Fridge for some old-school smash-
mouth ball.

Another way to take advantage of the field is to draft a team of
players skilled in agility. Superstars pimped out with high agility
points will be able to make moves on the muddy surface while their
opponents slide right on by.

On defense, go with a big lineup up front to force your opponents to
dance in the mud. The more moves they try, the more likely they are
to fall.

Just another victim of the Junkyard.

Time to bring out your A-game before you get turned into another
piece of trash.

October 22, 2003 - William "The Refrigerator" Perry is coming back
to the NFL...NFL Street, that is. Sure, he's tried countless times
to get back in the spotlight, from entering hot dog eating contests,
to boxing Manute Bol on Celebrity Boxing.
But this time it's different. This time Perry gets to do what he
does best. Forget laying bricks or throwing haymakers, The Fridge is
built to play football, and in NFL Street, just like the Chicago
Bears back in the day, Perry is poised to play both sides of the
ball.

Sure, you might not want Fridge trying to throw the rock, or even
try to get his Willie Gault-on and go deep for a pass, but when it
comes to running the ball, blocking, or stuffing the ball at the
line of scrimmage, Perry proves that he's still a powerhouse to be
reckoned with.

The key to playing as Perry is knowing your environment, as some of
Street's fields are wide open and benefit quicker players like
fellow legend Barry Sanders, while others are more narrow, and
you'll need to switch your offense to a more powerful unit. And when
it comes to power, just like when it comes to eating hot dogs, The
Fridge is your man.

On offense he can run over defenders or open big holes by blasting
blitzers out of their cleats. While on D, he creates this huge
obstacle that's nearly impossible to run around, let alone run
through.

From folk hero, to Super Bowl champ, to NFL Street legend, this is
the legacy of William "The Refrigerator" Perry.

This is the comeback you've been waiting for

October 28, 2003 - Lester Hayes used to dip both of his hands in so
much Stick 'Em, if he shook your hand, he might rip your skin right
off.

One of the most skilled shut-down corners of the '70's, Hayes put
opposing receivers on lock while maintaining the Raider mystic of
generally acting like the baddest mo-fo to ever step on turf.

He was about getting in the receiver's face, knocking him off
stride, and interrupting his concentration to the point where he no
longer focused on the ball, but the corner in his way. "I was taught
you had to break a man's confidence, break his concentration," Hayes
once said.

And break a man's concentration, not to mention his hope and faith,
is what Hayes excelled at, giving new meaning to the term bump and
run.

But no matter what old school memories you have of Hayes high-
stepping, smacking receivers in the mouth, laying low in his crouch
as we waited for the play to start, or picking off passes, you can't
pass Go unless you first talk about the goo.

I mean, the man once caught a bullet whizzing by his head, and he
snatched it with one hand as he trapped it between his helmet and
shoulder pad. So he either had the best pair of hands of all time,
or he's the reason Stick 'Em was banned faster than Kurt Warner's
wife from the Rams Christmas party.

But that was the NFL...this is NFL Street. Hayes returns to the
field to regain his top spot amongst the elite and is the single
biggest threat in the game when it comes to the interception. He's
also one of the fastest players in Street, and with those hands, not
to mention the extra attribute points he surly received for his
unnaturally sticky fingers, Lester can also be a threat on the
offensive side of the ball, working his quickness and glue-like skin
to snatch the rock out of midair and take it to the house (or beach,
depending on the field).

Nintendo has revealed 3 new characters in Mario Party 5 in 10 new
screenshots.

It is now known that Mario Party 5 will have at least 11 characters
to
choose from but knowing Nintendo and the amount of characters in
Mario
Kart: Double Dash!! this probably won't be all the characters in the
game.

In Nintendo's weekly/daily newsletter they have revealed that Toad,
Bowser Jr, and Boo will be playable characters this time around.

All

Right now I'm just adding zelda stuff right now, and for a while it

Designguy's messege boards when they are up (If I like them). I'm
starting to move away from Yahoo! Groups and into websites.... I'm
just getting sick of the so many restrictions that Yahoo has on
their groups, and I'm getting a taste of the freedom with sites (
www.ninten-cubed.com ) I'm going to be helping designguy with his
site. So, I may be leaving Yahoo soon.......

We'll see how things go.

Subject: Holiday games list

So what games, and for what system, is everyone getting/planning to
get/hoping to get this holiday season?

Personally, I am planning on a very "Xbox Christmas." Most games I
am
looking forward to seem to be geared toward the Xbox crowd, or, if
they
are cross-platform, will likely be best on Xbox. My list so far:

1. XIII
2. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
3. Rainbow Six 3
4. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Two of these (RS3 and XIII) are going to have a pretty strong
multiplayer element, especially online. The demo for RS6 is just
awesome, and it
should be a really good time playing on-line co-op where your whole
team is controlled by 3 other real people. And, if one can hope, it
will
be really awesome if you have an opposing team or terrorists played
by 4
other people. That's what I hoping for, in essence a vastly improved
Counter-Strikeish experience. XIII should have a cool one-player
game,
but I've read some reviews that have me a little worried. I put down
$5
on a whim for it, and they had no Xbox playable demos to give away
(only
PS2 ones), so I have yet to actually play it. If I can, I will
perhaps
rent it and decide if I'd pay the full $50. That, and I'll wait for
some reviews, especially on how the multiplayer is.

I know that LotR: RotK is a multiplayer game of sorts, it has co-op
(and online co-op for PS2), but fucking EA still has yet to make any
online play available on Xbox. I know it will look and probably play
best on
Xbox, and I'm seriously considering going for that version, even
without online play, just to spite EA's stupid "No Live" policy.
Voting with
my wallet, in essence. And as for Prince of Persia, I really enjoyed
the demo, and assuming that the last few months have polished the
game
even more, I think this could be a real winner. After seeing
Splinter
Cell on PS2 and GameCube, and seeing what shite they looked like
compared
to their Xbox big brother, I am almost positive that the same will
hold
true for PoP: it's being made for the Xbox and scaled down for the
other two systems.

Some other games I may look into include some of those more generic
Splinter Cell clones (the Mission: Impossible one, and the one with
that
chick, but those games will likely be soul-less rip-offs), maybe
StarCraft: Ghost (which, while perhaps sharing things with Splinter
Cell,
looks to have at least an ounce of originality to it), the Hobbit
(maybe on
GameCube, since I heard it was developed on GC wares ... but we'll
see
which system it plays best on), True Crime: Streets of LA (again,
probably best on Xbox, hopefully with custom soundtracks), possibly
the Xbox
version of Counter-Strike (although with no real single player game
and
all these other Xbox Live games I'd be getting, this might be a
waste
of time, what with its dated graphics and the version I already own
on
PC), and, if it makes it out this year, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin
Snakes. So as you can see, not much on the 'Cube or the PS2 that I
can't
get, and with more options, on Xbox.

So ... what about you guys?

old PC series- what kind of game is this new XBox one?

I have been thinking about getting an XBox, probably a heavily pre
modded one (live in Japan so need the ability to play Japanese DVDs
etc. but prefer the English RPGs). I think that will be my
Christmas present to myself. That and probably Knights of the Old
Republic and that new Tenchu game if its out by then.

Well I'm certainly looking forward to Prince of Persia. I've
enjoy the other 3 in the series and it's nice to see it making
a return.

I have the first Rings game, fellowship, and it had to be the
stupidest Rings game since the lame ass dos games of
many years ago. So I passed on the second and I'll pass
on Return of the King as well.

As for my main thing I'm looking to pick up for christams, that
would be a GameCube along with a few games Mario Sunshine,
Viewtiful Joe, Bill Hatcher & Zelda to start with.

Finally, I'm kind of curious how buying Return of the King for
X-Box shows EA your displeasure for no Live support? If you
want to make your point, don't buy the game at all and write EA
and tell them why you've chosen to pass on their games.

Subject: my friend and I, really is a true story

Last year my friend Jesse got Dungeons and Dragons. He wanted to
plan a game the coming weekend and asked if I wanted to join him.

I had to be honest with him, "Jesse, I don't know how to play
Dungeons and Dragons, and wouldn't it make us look more nerdy than
we
already are?"

"How are we nerds?" Jesse asked.

"I'm in Chess club and you are in Drama," I said to him

"We're not nerds! We are the coolest kids on the block," He
said.

"I can teach you how to play the game in 3 hours. It's a group
game; I need to know if you'll join. It won't be fun if I just play
by myself."

"Oh God, I bet it's like Magic The Gathering," I said.

"What do you mean? It's a totally different game," He said.

"Well the rules to Magic The Gathering are stupid. I don't
like
arguing over the meaning of the rules…" I replied.

Magic The Gathering has two major problems with it: You have
to
shell out a lot of money to even get a halfway decent deck of cards
and without experience it's hard to know what to buy. My biggest
concern with it was that the rules are so flawed.

"My Nightmare attacks you for 20 damage. You may go," I say.

"Before you say go, I destroy your monster and take no
damage,"
Richard says.

"No! You cannot do that! I already said go! Where does it say
in the rules that you can travel back in time and destroy my
monster?
Grrr…" Out of breath I then collapsed on the floor while Richard
searched for his rulebook.

From then on I decided that Magic The Gathering is a dumb
game.
You can't play a single match without getting into a fist-fight over
the rules. Which is not exactly a good idea if you have a friend
that
weighs 200 pounds more than you do or if you have a friend like
Richard. This guy is 7ft tall and has a double thick sternum. It
would be like punching a brick wall. Not that I know what it's like
to fight with any of my friends, but that I know what it's like to
hit a brick wall. My friends always say that they would never fight
with me because I have my 4th Degree Red Belt in Tae Kwon Do, but
they know that I am too much of a pacifist to pass a fist. I rarely
need to settle a matter with my fists and if I do, it wouldn't be
pitted against the fists of my friends.

"No, it's nothing like Magic The Gathering," Jesse said.

"You hardly have to spend any money on anything except on
books, and I already own the ones we need. The rules are simple
enough to learn and are very logical. The hardest thing you can do
is
some math and creating your characters."

"That is absurd! Why would anyone want to play a math game?" I
said.

"Trust me, it's really fun once you get into it. It's all
about
strategy and storytelling." He said.

I knew Jesse very well; we had been friends since 7th grade.
We
both love to read and write about Norse Mythology. I can think of no
better poets than the two of us. Oh…Maybe Walt Whitman. Knowing that
and that there would be free pizza and soda, I couldn't possibly
resist. However, I wasn't only in it for the pizza. When he got into
fights at school, I was there. When he broke his brother's light
saber, I was there. When he was in A Midsummer Night's Dream, I was
there. When he had to work in the yard, I wasn't there; I had an
orthodontist appointment. I couldn't possibly begin to count on both
my hands how many times we have helped each other out or shown each
other something cool, not even if I was to take off both my shoes.

Jesse directed me through several books on rules, spells and
character creation. It was very strange and complicated. There were
so many kinds of characters you could be. You have to choose your
race, your class, which is like a job, and you have to choose your
alignment, which is sort of like deciding how evil or how good you
want to be in the game. You really had to be careful choosing,
because all races, classes and alignments have drawbacks. I couldn't
decide what to be, but I definitely didn't want to be human, what is
the point of playing a game where you can be anything you want to
be,
yet you don't take advantage of that? I also didn't want to be a
barbarian or a paladin because those characters are overused in a
lot
of role playing games. So Jesse suggested that I play as a Dwarf.

"Yeah, I really want to be a Dwarf," I said in a sarcastic
tone.

"Ha! How stupid Dwarves are! Little furry footed dateless stumps
that
feast on entrails and live in holes. Not to mention they are ugly,
totally useless and they hate Light Elves."

"You take that back!" Jesse scolded.

"Well… Most of what I said is true."

"Dwarves are not completely useless, they can make magical
items, they are resistant to magic and they make good Magic-Users."

"Which means that my character would do a lot of hiding behind
your character," I said.

"I just don't want to be a Dwarf, I want to actually fight."

"Well you could be a Monk, as they acquire experience from
fights they become well-rounded god-like characters," He said.

I without hesitation hurriedly filled out a character sheet
for
a Monk. I don't exactly know why I showed prudence before I decided
to play this game. Where had my judgment gone? Why was I not prudent
in my decision to become a Monk?

The problem in many games is that Magic-Users are physically
weak, and Fighters are almost entirely defenseless to magic. That's
where the buddy system comes in. Fighters act as human shields while
the Mage prepares a deadly spell or helps heal the Fighter. You have
to have a few friends so you have people to hide behind when the
going gets tough and a few more who act as comic relief when the
game
becomes either too intense or dry and boring.

We gathered around a table in a room no bigger than a closet.
It was rather dark, an ominous place. Jesse with his Barbarian, I
with a Monk, we were joined by two others in our group, a Paladin
and
a Necromancer. It was an unlikely pairing, for Paladins are holy
knights who stamp out the living dead and Necromancers create the
living dead in order to stamp out the holy. Though our characters
didn't get along very well, we were good friends; we had to be,
otherwise we would have given up. Honestly we would have torn each
other up; you try getting four strangers into a small room with
different personalities and see if they don't kill each other. Oh
wait, I think they did try that on MTV.

It was hilarious that our characters were totally different
from the way we were in real life. Thomas the Paladin, is an Atheist
in real life. Jesse the Barbarian, is this skinny pale guy. When he
inhales, his stomach touches the back of his spine! He is a real
super evil genius and for some odd reason he chooses to be the
slowwitted muscle bound freak.

It seemed as though everybody had useful characters but me. I
guess that was partly my fault when I was being a Dwarvist. I can't
help it! Dwarves hate laughter, singing, light elves, and tend to be
very greedy. That is totally opposite of me. I could just hear Jesse
laughing inside himself, I had been trying to stay away from weak
characters and I had been tricked into using one.

I had a wide array of spells and abilities, but I always
seemed
to get the short end of the stick. I'd have the ability to swim
farther and better than my colleagues would, but we'd spend most of
our time traversing a desert, millions of miles away from water. Or
I
would find a magical item "Sword of Ogre Slaying," a +9 to Ogre
Slaying, Critical miss to small monsters. Which means that if I
fight
Ogres with the sword, I will be able to kill them in one fell swoop.
It also means that if I were to attack an Orc or any other creature
that is below my knee, I would end up hitting myself with the sword,
possibly even disemboweling myself! Being a Monk I had to use hand-
to-
hand combat most of the time. So that meant if I had some how
achieved a critical miss, I would impale myself with my foot or my
fists. Yes that actually happened to me during battle. Then
immediately after finding the sword, an evil wizard would zap us to
the land of "No Ogres." The irony never ceased!

Since I obviously couldn't be of any real help to my comrades,
I mostly did healing and stealing. If I couldn't heal my comrades
after every battle, they probably would have sold me into slavery at
the next town! Stealing saved me, but it also put me into a lot of
dangerous situations. If there were a very dangerous monster or
daemon, I'd always be the one to steal something from it because the
others didn't want to risk their lives trying to defeat the monster.
Then there were times where I really had been no help at all. We'd
be
in town and being myself, I had to find a use for my endless supply
of useless abilities. If ever my character became tense or
frightened
I would have him jump several feet in the sky and then swim across
the barren earth. If a door was locked, no problem! Giant fireball.
I
would be very silly, sometimes with my money I'd buy toys, candles,
clothes and magical items. Instead of trying to kill the Ogre for
his
stash of weapons and gold (Remember in DnD there are always Ogres
with a stash of gold and weapons), I'd try to strike a trade with
him
or I'd give him a gift hoping that he'd have a change of heart.
Needless to say, The Dungeon Master never allowed me to walk away
from the conversation without getting thoroughly beaten to the edge
of my life.

Aside from my inappropriate uses of my abilities and my
lighthearted attempts toward entertaining my friends, I think that
what really made it hard to play was that we had a hard time
following the rules and it was getting tremendously hot in that tiny
little room. So we finished our first session and had cheese pizza
with Vernor's ginger ale. We stayed up all through the night telling
jokes and making fun of each other. We got maybe only 3 hours of
sleep, but it was a pretty cool night. I still want to play this
game! I don't think that my experience would have been so good if I
had been playing with complete strangers, my musings would have
seemed rebellious and disrespectful and my situation would have
seemed unfair to me.

You know Dungeons and Dragons is not a bad game at all.
Usually
I am very outgoing; I like trying new things all the time. I have
eaten Octopus and Eel before; I've had noodles in Soda on a dare. So
it seems rather silly for me not to play this game. The game was
cool, as long as you are with good friends; you can goof on them. As
long as you've got them, you can be happy when things are bad, and
when you've got good friends, they can be right by your side when
things get tough. If you are afraid to go to an Anime Convention or
play Dungeons and Dragons by yourself, it is not a bad idea to do it
all with a friend. An Old Norse proverb says that the path to a true
friends house is always straight, be a friend to your friend and
give
him laughter for laughter. Now I finally understand what it means.
You can always count on a good friend, and you know that they are
good because they won't let harm come to you. If you can't count on
your friends then how many friends can you count?

Yes PoP has been on nearly every system ever created. However
when it comes to PoP I mainly consider the 3 pc versions which I
think were overall the best of the lot.

i
do plan to buy my self a nice neo geo. sure there 500 bucks, and
each

*Sigh*. No, no, no! The "Rings" game you have, Fellowship of the
Ring,
is a poorly-conceived RPG based on the books. It sucks. Two Towers
game
was a hack-and-slash adventure, which wasn't that bad, and RotK is
set
to 1-up the TT game, with co-op play like Gauntlet or Golden Axe.
Didn't you actually look at the Two Towers game? Couldn't you see
that the
first one was not based on the movie, and the others are? Is this
not
blatantly oblivious to anyone else?

Not buying RotK wouldn't matter, buying it for Xbox would prove to
EA
that there's yet another Xbox player who isn't going to buy a
craptastic
PS2 version just for online play, and that they should support Xbox,
since there are plenty of Xbox fans who buy EA games. Or whatever.

What is Prince of Persia? Go check the web for a preview. It's a 3D
update to the original, only it looks UBER-pretty, it's still
platformer
designed around traps and such, and you have cool time-bending
abilities
that let you reverse time (and, I assume, do other things) should
you
mess up or need to manipulate time in other ways.

And KotOR is an EXCELLENT choice. I got that game the DAY it came
out,
played it non-stop until I beat it as a light-side Jedi, and now I'm
taking my time though it again as an evil Sith, balancing it with my
schoolwork and other games.

Could you describe this Prince of Persia thing? I always loved
the
old PC series- what kind of game is this new XBox one?

I have been thinking about getting an XBox, probably a heavily pre
modded one (live in Japan so need the ability to play Japanese
DVDs
etc. but prefer the English RPGs). I think that will be my
Christmas present to myself. That and probably Knights of the Old
Republic and that new Tenchu game if its out by then.

Actually I never bothered to even look at the box or read a review.
Too many other games to spend my money on. I don't think I've
really missed much.

And in the case of EA, do you really think they care? You bought
the game even with out support for xbox live and they got their $50.
As long as you keep buying their games without live support they'll
keep making them without live support and they'll be perfectly
happy.

Ok, I got no problem with paying $500 for a console, if it's a true
top of the line piece of hardware. Hell I would spend $300 to $500
for a portable game system if it came with a really top notch screen
like a nice bright tft screen you'd find on a laptop. Only smaller of
course. But there is no way I'm paying $300 a pop for the games
even if they are direct ports from the arcade. What sort of sales
numbers do they have with prices like that?

The company HALLOWEEN party got out of hand when the temporary girls
showed up dressed as strippers and prostitutes. Not only did the
dress
the part but they acted out the parts as well. I don't think they
will
have a job by the end of this week but at least then went out with a
bang! "Literally"

Almost every employee there had a camera or a video camera. The
party
was at a local hotel and almost all the action was captured in one
form
or another. I spent all day Sunday, digitizing the video for sale.
Care to purchase or just get a glimpse of a company party CUM true.

Lol, sorry about that, they have now been banned. I don't know how
they
got through anyway, we have it set so that new members posts have to
be
approved, so I don't know how this happened.

It's an exclusive. The best part is that Nintendo is publishing it,
and
those who pre-order get a demo of the highly anticipated "GameCube's
Gone Wild!" (It's the one where Zelda flashes Toad!) I can't wait!

Nintendo itself did not authorize most(if not all) 3rd party memory
cards. In order to deter people buying them and instead buy Nintendo
memory cards, they put extra code into all the Nintendo published
games
that will keep you from saving on anything but the official memory
cards. If it's a Nintendo game your saving to, this is most likely
your
problem. I hope that helps.

Hey all,

I am way into SSBM! Peach is by far my favorite character, but I
also love Luigi and Jigglypuff. Other characters I like are Bowser,
Yoshi, Ice Climbers, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Marth.

There are just way too many posts here for me to go through them
all... So I won't! I'm just saying hello to other cubelovers.

Also, if anyone is looking for a gamecube group more focused on
Smash
Bros Melee, I have started one at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/ssbmforum

Hope to see you there and I'll stop by here every now and then and
check up on the cube talk!

and
since we know how good the mods are here, you probably should just
remove yourself.

5 Zelda Bonus Disks?
by Mike Viscel

Looks like GameCube buyers may be able to get 5 Zelda games for the
price of none!

Sources today have indicated that Nintendo may be planning a console
bundle that will have gamers drooling and Nintendo loyalist wishing
they didn't already own a GameCube. Sources have indicated that
Nintendo is planning on bundling five, that's right, five Zelda
games and extras with the console. This should come as no great
surprise considering the success of the Wind Waker pre-order
incentive that gave gamers a free copy of Ocarina of Time.

The bundle is said to include:

The Legend of Zelda

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

A Zelda Documentary

We have yet to confirm the news with Nintendo themselves, nor do we
know if any of the games will receive upgrades on the GameCube
console, as Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time did a few months ago.

At this point it seems that you will have to purchase the console to
receive the disk, although this has not been confirmed.

Nooo!! Don't close the group ;)

Pretty soon tons of cool games will be released. Latelly I've been
playing Phantasy Star Online I & II on the Game Cube. It's pretty
fun,
and I even have dial-up and there's no lag compared to EQ.. *LOL* but
then again there really isn't a whole lot to load in PSO compared to
EQ.
I just reserved Harvest Moon for the GBA, and Sword of Mana. Also
Final
Fantasy X-2. What do you guys think about that game? It's weird
Square
is actually making a sequel to it, plus that FF7 dvd movie, I
uploaded
a
clip of it here: http://www.kittytreats.org/mmtease.mpg

See ya

Well, I think it's just a code name right now. Sort of like how the
GC
had the code name Dolphin.

Subject: News - Nintendo Honors Executives and Retirees

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 2003--Nintendo of America
Inc.
recognizes two esteemed employees with promotions and honors two
longtime executives upon their retirement. Don James has been
promoted
to Executive Vice President of Operations from Senior Vice
President.
Rob Thompson has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Consumer
Services from Vice President. Phil Rogers, Executive Vice President
of
Operations, and Phil Borkowski, Vice President of Manufacturing,
will
retire Dec. 31 to pursue personal interests.

"Both Rogers and Borkowski have been instrumental in creating our
corporate culture and championing our rise to a world-class gaming
company," says Tatsumi Kimishima, president, Nintendo of America
Inc.
"We wish our retirees success in their new endeavors, and
congratulate
our executives on their well-deserved promotions."

James was one of Nintendo's first U.S. employees. He started work in
August 1981 as Warehouse Manager, responsible for the assembly and
shipping of coin-operated games. During the past 22 years, Nintendo
has
relied upon his extensive creative design skills, outstanding
management ability and unique expertise with products, packaging
design, promotions, trade shows and manufacturing requirements.

In his new role, James will oversee the Design Services,
Engineering,
Manufacturing, Planning and Procurement, Shipping and Consumer
Service
departments.

Thompson also joined Nintendo in 1981, and has been a driving force
in
establishing Nintendo's reputation for excellence in customer
service.
He began his career as a Service Technician and in 1986 moved to the
Consumer Service Department, which at its peak had grown to more
than
600 employees. As Senior Vice President of Consumer Services,
Thompson
will direct all consumer response programs.

Rogers joined Nintendo in June 1982, as Director of Development.
Initially he helped complete the acquisition of Nintendo's Redmond
Campus and pursued investments with profits generated by the
company's
thriving arcade video games. He expanded the Operations Division to
more than 500 employees and eventually rose to become Executive Vice
President of Operations. Rogers plans to pursue his interests in
travel
and real estate.

Borkowski joined Nintendo in October 1987, bringing with him more
than
25 years of manufacturing experience. Through the years, Borkowski
has
proved invaluable in bringing licensee software manufacturing into
the
United States and leading the team to develop Nintendo's inventory
system. Borkowski plans to spend his retirement tinkering with his
classic Corvettes and keeping up with his four grown children, two
stepchildren and six grandchildren.

Subject: News - Nationwide Double Dash Mall Tour

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 2003--Nintendo of America
Inc.'s aggressive holiday efforts for its Nintendo GameCube(TM)
video
game system began with a price decrease to $99.99 and a $100 million
marketing campaign. Nintendo now continues with an exciting consumer
pre-sell offer and a nationwide mall tour featuring the most
anticipated title this holiday season, Mario Kart (R): Double Dash!!
(TM), available Nov. 17.

The $10 million marketing campaign for Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is
led
by a limited pre-sell offer, giving consumers who reserve a copy of
the
game at select retailers a free bonus disc at the time of purchase.
The
extra disc is loaded with playable game samples and sneak-peek
movies
of upcoming software. Consumers also can test drive the game more
than
a month before its launch. The Nintendo "Who Are You?" Tour takes
Mario
Kart: Double Dash!! and a variety of games to 12 cities across the
United States, starting on Oct. 31 in both San Francisco and Boston.
Playable demos of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! also will be available
at
retailers nationwide starting in early November.

"Mario Kart has been one of best-selling franchises in Nintendo's
history, selling more than 20 million units worldwide during the
last
11 years," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice
president for marketing and corporate communications. "The latest
version, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, arrives just in time for the
holiday season and is anticipated to be one of the hottest titles of
the year."

The bonus disc includes playable Nintendo GameCube previews of Mario
Party® 5, F-Zero® GX, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(TM) by Konami,
Star
Wars®: Rogue Squadron® III: Rebel Strike(TM) from LucasArts and
Sonic
Heroes(TM) by Sega. The disc also includes movies of 1080(degree)®:
Avalanche, Kirby(TM) Air Ride, Pokemon Colosseum(TM), Final
Fantasy®:
Crystal Chronicles(TM), SpongeBob SquarePants(TM): The Search for
Bikini Bottom from THQ, and Harry Potter(TM): Quiddtich(TM) World
Cup
and NBA Live 2004 from Electronic Arts. In addition, exclusive
content
for the Game Boy® Advance game Fire Emblem(TM) will be included.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, at an MSRP of $49.99, sets the benchmark
for
competitive gameplay with double the arsenal, faster action,
gorgeous
graphics, bigger battles and frantic competition. Players now can
choose two characters per kart and use their special abilities and a
slew of items to their strategic advantage. The wide range of
options
allows players to decide if they prefer the size, robust kart and
giant
banana peels of Donkey Kong® or the classic fireballs and steady
handling of Mario(TM). No matter the choice, the outcome is pure
chaos
as eight characters dole out damage in a mad dash to the finish
line.

game is sold out. A note saying "Due to overwhelming demand, we are
temporarily out of stock for this item. Place your order now to be
the
first in line for when we have more stock – which will be later this
month." is all that is left behind.

This is great News for both Capcom and for Nintendo. Hopefully it
continues to sell well after it is restocked.

Sony suprises nobody by following Nintendo

According to Gamecube Advanced, Target has gotten promotional
artwork
for a PS2 price drop to $99 in mid-November. Does Sony really need
this? They already own the majority of the console market.

If you engaged in a ruthless competition for market share and are
determined to destroy the Gamecube, then a price drop for the PS2
would
be a move you would consider.

My personal pplan upon hearing this is to buy both systems (I already
own a Gamecube but don't own a PS2) and see if I can find some what
to
hook them both up. Several games are only available on the PS2 (curse
them!) and I also know a couple of other people who own PS2s and can
lend me games or teach me how to get decent at video games.

But I'll probably never be a decent player. Video game skill takes
discipline that I need to apply to other areas, like my writing and
my
publishing.

Is it even an official code? Has Nintendo actually used the
name "N5"
in anything official? I was under the impression it was just a
nickname
Nintendo fans gave the system since no official name is available.

Well, I think it's just a code name right now. Sort of like how the
GC
had the code name Dolphin.

Would they really cut their price in half? I'd certainly have to
question the truth of a price drop to $99 for PS2. I'm guessing
they
would be selling at a loss which I thought was illegal for the most
part. Maybe that law only applies to service industries like phone
and cable TV though. I don't think Sony has lost many sales due to
the GC price drop anyway, and will wait until this becomes official
before talking further.

Microsoft is selling the XBox at nearly a $200 loss... PS2 and GC
are
also selling at losses. I'm not sure by how much, but its there.
They
make the money back on games.

Barring an act of supreme stupidity, I really dont see Sony getting
worried about anything the other two do in this generation. Also as
far
as I know if you are basing the score of the war on console sales,
GC is
still #2 world wide. before the price drop. In just about any market
GC
is within striking distance if the Xbox is #2. In Japan , the Xbox
is
in the league of the Wonderswan, the Dream Cast and the PS1. If
you
count in terms of red and black ink (profit/ loss) no
contest.Remember
the Christmas on 2001, Xbox comes out at 299 and Sony did not blink.

There

that the
Sonic family, or just Sonic, will also be appearing. that's as much

not saying that is tarted that rumor, but i said "it would be great
if

though. that would be great though. like, each character could
change
into something. i would really like young link to be able to change
into
deku link, Maiku (zora link), and Darunia (goron link). that would
be
so awesome. I'd like to see Chunky Kong from DK 64. he's my fave

Subject: advent children & chain of memories Q&A

Square Enix developer talks about Kingdom Hearts II, Chain of
Memories, and Advent Children, the movie sequel to Final Fantasy VII.

In the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Square Enix's
Tetsuya Nomura answered some questions about Kingdom Hearts II for
the PlayStation 2, which he will direct. Nomura also answered a few
questions about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the newly
announced CG movie that he will also be directing, and the upcoming
GBA Kingdom Hearts title, Chain of Memories.

Dengeki PlayStation magazine: When did the plans for Kingdom Hearts
II come up?

Tetsuya Nomura: The plans were around since the time when Kingdom
Hearts: Final Mix, wrapped production, but the specifics weren't
decided until this July or August.

DPM: Why did you decide to produce a Game Boy version of Kingdom
Hearts?

TN: I heard a story that kids wanted to play Kingdom Hearts on the
GBA. It also seemed that there was a similar demand overseas, so I
thought that it had to be created. The plans for the GBA game were
thought over while talking with Disney about Kingdom Hearts II.
Actually, the vision of the game didn't become concrete until very
recently.

DPM: None of the worlds of Disney in Kingdom Hearts II have been
revealed. Will it be possible to go through different worlds in
Kingdom Hearts II as well?

TN: Of course. The number of worlds in Kingdom Hearts II shouldn't
be
less than Kingdom Hearts, so please look forward to it. Kingdom
Hearts II will have new worlds, and some worlds from Kingdom Hearts
will be in the game.

DPM: Will Twilight Town hold the same kind of standpoint in the
game,
like Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts?

TN: I can't answer that question, but it is definitely a town that
plays an important role and comes into the scenario.

DPM: The illustration (of Twilight Town) has a building that looks
like a train station. Will it be possible to go to other worlds by
riding on this train?

TN: I can't answer that question yet, but that building has an
important meaning.

DPM: Is the island that has been revealed (through a recently
released photo) Destiny Island from Kingdom Hearts?

TN: Probably. (Laughs) I can't reveal details yet, so users should
try using their imagination.

DPM: Kingdom Hearts II's main illustration shows Mickey Mouse, but
will he be appearing at the beginning of the game?

TN: Mickey Mouse will be handled in a special way in Kingdom Hearts
II, so I can't answer details at the current time. Other characters
from Disney will join in the player's party, similar to Kingdom
Hearts.

DPM: Will Sora's friends, Riku and Kairi, appear in Kingdom Hearts
II?

TN: A major point to Kingdom Hearts II is whether or not Sora will
be
able to see them again. So I can't answer that question.

DPM: It seems that there are characters that appear in both the GBA
game and KHII?

TN: There are characters that make their first appearances in the
GBA
game, but please wait for additional news releases for information
on
them.

DPM: The enemy in Kingdom Hearts II is no longer just the Heartless
this time? Also, there are men wearing black jackets, but are they
the same people from Kingdom Hearts?

TN: The white enemies seen in Kingdom Hearts II are third forces
following the Villains [in each world] and the Heartless from
Kingdom
Hearts. I can't say who's who amongst the people in the black
jackets, but a character from Kingdom Hearts is among them for sure.

DPM: Are there any major changes in the battle system?

TN: The basis (of the battle system) is still the same, but there
will be a number of totally new options. With the additional options
implemented to the battle system, there should be a wider range of
possible strategies in Kingdom Hearts II. There are also a number of
changes and additions to the magic and summons in the game. The
overall concept of summoning will be different in Kingdom Hearts II,
so please look forward.

DPM: What about actions and the transportation system?

TN: There were a variety of actions in Kingdom Hearts, and there
will
be even more in KHII. As for the gummy ship, we are thinking of
something similar to it.

DPM: What about puzzles?

TN: There will probably be lots of objects on the field that the
player will be able to meddle with. The story will obviously be
complex and have some puzzles in it too, since it continues from
points alluded to in Kingdom Hearts.

DPM: Will there be a place like the Coliseum from Kingdom Hearts and
other minigames in Kingdom Hearts II?

TN: The coliseum will be incredible. There will also be a lot of
minigame factors that can be looked forward to.

DPM: Will all the mysteries from Kingdom Hearts get answered?

TN: All the mysteries from Kingdom Hearts will be answered in
Kingdom
Hearts II--by design. (Laughs)

DPM: Why was a movie sequel to Final Fantasy VII decided for
development, and when was it decided?

TN: About a year back, Visual Works (a company that has developed CG
movies for Square) picked FFVII as the theme for a presentation that
they were going to create. Our research and development department
worked with them on its launch, and I joined the crew after producer
Kitase-san called me. It's going to be released as a sequel, but it
was planned to just be a visual presentation in the beginning.

DPM: Why is Advent Children a movie instead of a game? Are there any
differences between making a game and making a full movie?

TN: First of all, we started off from the project that Visual Works
was handling, but they can't make a game on their own. We tried to
see if we could make it into a game, but it wasn't possible due to a
number of factors. As a result, we decided to stick with the
original
plan and work on it as a movie production. The development isn't too
different from the way we make movies that get used in our games,
but
our schedule is a bit tight. We need to keep the cost down since
it's
not a game, but [we still need to] maintain high quality.

DPM: Are there any differences between creating movies for games and
creating Advent Children?

TN: There are more efforts put into the textures and the atmosphere.
We usually need to balance [the movie graphics] with the game
screen,
but there are no such limitations in Advent Children, so we're going
all out on it.

DPM: What meaning does Final Fantasy VII have for you?

TN: It was the Final Fantasy game that I was most involved in, and
it
is also my favorite. It's also where the series takes a radical
change [from past FF titles].

DPM: How is production going?

TN: We are at about 10 percent done. Not all the characters have
been
created yet, but the scenario has already been completed.

DPM: Were there any things that you were especially careful about
when bringing back Cloud and Sephiroth to the screen?

TN: What you are seeing now is the result of numerous explorations.
Since it was impossible to bring the look [from FFVII] directly to
the new realistic look (in Advent Children), the characteristics
that
would allow anybody to recognize Cloud and the others were left
behind on them.

DPM: What kind of standing does the new character fighting with
Cloud
have?

TN: He is an enemy.

DPM: Were the characters in Advent Children's promotional video
animated through motion capture?

TN: They were animated by motion capture, but that capture was
recently taken for promotional use. It isn't a part of the main
movie.

DPM: Are the battle scenes also created through motion capture?

TN: Many are, but parts that aren't humanly possible are done by
hand.

DPM: Will the characters have voices? And will it be in English or
Japanese?

TN: The characters will have voices, but I can't answer more.

DPM: What is the theme of Advent Children?

TN: Nojima, who handles the scenario, says that it won't be
something
soft, like healing. It will be about survival.

DPM: Where, specifically, will Advent Children take place? Will it
be
somewhere from the original Final Fantasy VII?

TN: It's hidden in the logo.

DPM: How long will Advent Children be?

TN: It is planned to run for 60 minutes.

DPM: Are there any chances for a FFVII sequel to be developed as a
game after the release of Advent Children?

TN: I hope that this project may lead to something, since we woke up
something that was sleeping.
