Does anyone in this group have a dreameye????  I REALLY NEED YOUR
HELP!  Okay, i definately know now that i must be using the wrong
type of battery because i now own 2 dreameyes and they both dont
work.  I actually just recieved a brand new dreameye in the mail
today but the person didnt include the batteries.  I put in a fresh
pair of triple AAA batteries and nothing happens!  I flick the little
switch up and nothing!

Now, the first dreameye i recieved about a year ago worked fine with
the batteries that are included.  But shortley after stopped working
and would not work with triple AAA batteries.  but i also noticed
that the battery pack will not fit double AA batteries.  what is
up!?  i need help!!!  i own 2 dreameyes and both are non
functioning!  one of them should be working flawlessly as it is brand
new!!!  PLEAAAAAAASE HELP MEE!!!

you can also use the "script editor" if your host is tripod, make an
empty .cgi file with planetweb then paste the code in the textarea of
the script editor of tripod and when u'll save it will be done in
ASCII mode

plz do not use planetwebmaster's ftp client
it doesn't work with cgi files

dl.cgi is DLVM.cgi
you can find the source of dlvm.cgi in my old post

if your host support SSI
you dont need DL.cgi
just use .htaccess

if you have questions
you can ask the webmaster of VMU-Harddrive

i didnt want to sound hostile thats just because my english is not as
good as i want. i wanted to learn u smthg thats y i told u what u
needed to make ur cgi scripts, and u wont learn anything if u just
copy/paste the cgi code of someone else. and again if u just want to
make the same script as jeffmas one i dont understand why u dont just
put a link to it, if u wanted to edit i would understand

I'm wanting to learn JAVASCRIPT and HTML on my
DREAMCAST, my current Knowledge is BASIC at best.
Could someone please give me some tips, point me in
the right direction, recommend any good SITES? My main
BROWSER is DREAMKEY 3 which uses JAVASCRIPT 2.0 doesnt
it and HTML 3.2?

cgi scripts must be transfered in ASCII mode, i think the planetweb
FTP client transfers evry files in binary mode. and you need a host
who can run cgi scripts, like prohosting.com (i had many bugs with
their servers), tripod.com (good modules but the bandwidth is too low
and their ads system sux) or devveb.org (good for php and cgi, but
not free to join anymore). I dont want to sound hostile again but

i dont think angelfire supports cgi scripting, u need to find a host
with a cgi-bin directory first. my tool is in php its easier to find
free host that supports php scripting. and why do u want the code?
why not just to transfer the .h files on your site?

well, they are in the links somewhere...
either in the "new/unsorted" (possibly in the "older new/unsorted") or, if they
have been moved to a permanent home, they would be in "further dc tech"...

Yeah ill check out the Saturn Site, ive got a Saturn
too so should be interesting. There are some good
Mpegs in the DCBG Archives/Database, the Pie Faced
Gates one is a CLASSIC haha. There r quite a few that
work on the Nasa site too. I could go on forever about
a lot of great ones ive found, from Ufos to Exploding
Heads! Haha, fake, obviously ;)

Thanks, those are the settings ive got but i just cant
get it to work, i have another Email Account and that
wont work either, the only one that does is my Isps
Pop/Smtp. When i get the chance ill test a couple more
i have and try and get to the root of the problem.

i said "random" caus i didnt know how to say it (im french) i meant
it didnt happen evry time. and for me it was more a bug with the
cache than a but with deleting it (i dont know if im clear)

It aint a random bug. I had some major problems on
Ebay last night - a site I have been on many times in
the last year while on my DC - which meant it wouldn't
list items found in a search without messing up.
Also, any pages I tried to load up after clearing the
cache caused images not to be displayed or for them to
vanish as soon as the page was scrolled.

Fom now on I won;t be using the 'clear cache' option
at all.

Not perfectly, I can download/view emails but can't
send at mo.

Anyway, here are the addresses I use:

Remember to include your account name (your login ID),
your password (for your ID) and your email address
(for your ID - eg. myID@... )

I am gonna recheck my details coz I know how easy it

when i was changing the code of the vmnotepad to allow users to save
the files with the good browser autoloading names i added some
features that could be usefull to me, like loading a saved file to
edit its html code or previewing the page resulting of the code.
tested with dk3.0 dindt find any big bug, if u do please report them

Yeah i know about the Cookie Manager in Dreampassport
and id love to upgrade to that but i just cant get my
hands on a copy. Funny enough, thats a feature i
forgot to mention earlier that i think would be
invaluable to Dreamkey Users, being able to isolate
and save Cookies to Vmu.

it happened to me sometimes when i had to cut/paste big codes, it
happens also when u cut/paste some special chars like  and  but
nthg sure with it, it looks like a "random" bug
