unfortunately, this is a regular part of email group
s...  and it is worse on the people on digest...  es
pecially since the dk/dp email client can only handl
e emails of a certain size and cuts off the rest...
  i once got a digest with only 14 of the 25 messages
  in it because of this...  (not from this group)

also very important to remember is that planetweb ha
s no "highlight all"...  so deleting all the previou
s text on pw is a bitch...  i try to sympathize, but
, it does get old...


though, i can say this group doesn't get it as bad a
s others...  all the time i see people start a new t
opic by hitting reply, changing the subject line, an
d leaving all the previous thread text in...  and th
ey don't even just do it with short posts...  they h
ave something to say, hit reply to a mile-long, uned
ited thread and post their new unrelated topic on to
p of it...  that is much much wore...

anyway, i see this all the time in every email group
  i am in and there is unfortunately no stopping it,.
.  yes, we can bitch about it (i used to alot and so
metimes still do) but, some who do it have arguments
  why they prefer people to do it that way, like not
having to go back in a thread etc...
some email group services (such as tightcircle) try
to solve it by flltering out original text and that
causes alot of weird problems...

but, yes, it would be nice if people keep it short,

technically, a few people here (such as people who h

t, it is mainly for practical reasons like being abl

as ever been much need for moderators...  volunteers

actually, one is a regular problem with email groups
  and the other is just a social issue...  but, again
, few posts are ever deleted...  no one here ever si
gned up for "message board mod" job...  as i have of
ten said, someone trying to read an email group post
  archive like it was a message board must surely get
  frustrated pretty quick...  and those who get the p
osts by email get them unmoderated, so, there would
be no point in having mods...
the only things that get deleted are spams, porn, vi
ruses, and yes, sometimes it has been done with loud

I entered the information into my browser correctly after setting
upa account.  I can recieve e-mails but I still cannot send them.  I

Despite the problems some patrons have had w/ DS others have had none, and most
of every one greatly benifited from DS's ability to save DC files as a personal
web based "VMU/VMS". They also are known for thier "no-holds bared" forum
community. It takes alot to get a "free for you" paid site's topics canned.

(For any DCBG patron ready to axe my head off!)
I guess I know things and well I know those things, and things, and I'd say,
"let's bury the hatchet and move on".

The problem is that MSN or Hotmail no longer work with Dreamcast.
I currently only know one (other than most other isp smtp clients)
that works... http://www.softhome.net fill out the form and they
give you pop3 and smtp access. Yahoo did work and I "think" maybe
the UK version of Yahoo may still give you free smtp but I'm not 100%
sure about that....worth a try though.

cliant but whenever I try to send myself an e-mail the planet web
browser (v2.6) always beeps 4 times and tells me the e-mail host is
busy and to try again later.  When I try with the Dreamkey that came
with my jet grind radio game it will try to send a message for about
5 min then finally tells me it failed and to try again.  Can you
reccomend a e-mail cliant to use with the browser or what is causing
my problems?

well i did have the same problem a week or so ago
when isao was doing maintanance but it cleared up
maybe they havn't finished on all the many domains
they have running...

i couldn't access any isao services for about 3 days
including myroom or email (chab was ok though)

weird.I even tryed loging into my Isao room and other parts of it and it wont
let me in.it's as if someone changed my password.
also I sent a email from my Yahoo account to my isao email addy and a Message
came back saying my Isao account was over it's mail quota. that can't be
possible.
the only emails I get there r from friends.
this is so ticking me off grrr

yeah i have been getting the same problem as well i dunno why it's
doing this. i have been trying to figure it out though. i wonder if
isao.net went to pay or something for e-mail ? maybe?

you can play free with the US version of pso version 1. all you need
is the disk, a serial, and an access code.  They just reduced the
amount of servers in the US to 1 i believe, it being only Oberon left.

USA PSO ver.1 is Free to play Online.
Japan PSO ver.1 is not free.

I havent been able to log into my Isao email in over 2days.
is anyone else here having that problem too?
I get a odd Error on my Planetweb browser. on DPP I get a Error too. I've also
tryed loging in at the webmail site and it just reloads the page.and I've tryed
using my Yahoo account with the Isao POP3 server and it get's a Error saying My
username/and or pass is wrong....
