We knew it was coming, hoping it be a year or more down the line, but it's the
end of the road.

Ferrari 355 and StarLancer Dreamcast servers have now closed. If anyone knows
differently or wishes to let us know of any remaining online DC servers then
speak now... or forever hold your peace.


I have spent the last 3 years playing F355 twice a week and Starlancer every
Friday. Both will be sorely missed, especially the great (international) friends
that were made.

note: the web archive contains both the older PSD and one of the most
recent xdp releases(not most recent)..but these beat nothing.

when and if psd.com ever comes back,these will have to do i guess.

Sorry I'm late to reply.

Actually the correct URL from now is http://blueswirl.shorturl.com ,
http://bswirl.kitsunet.org is the host and can change at any time, so
make sure you visit the site from the main page using the first URL.

Also I'm sorry about the problems with the site, I'm not responsible
of these, the host had problems lately and I haven't been alerted
before it happened.

But now they have been sorted and I'm working on fixing the bugs that
might still exist. To do so I need you to contact me by e-mail as soon
as you find a problem with a tool or a page of the site. There's a
link to the e-mail box I check in the main menu.

Please when you report a bug make sure you give as much details as
possible about the page, the kind of bug, your browser and other
things that I might need to know to fix it.

I already fixed many bugs lately, most online tools didn't work, as
well as the VMU uploader. So now you should be able to use them like
before, go and post your VMU saves to the site so it can be active
again. ;)

Indeed it does sound interesting, but I doubt anyone here owns it. Only an owner
of an official DC devkit would have it, by the sounds of the title. Alternative
try asking the "dcdev" yahoo! group members.

Hmm better not dream to much :] . Sega will never release anything
that they payd for under a free license . One thing that make me
worrie about this more then that ch@b will die , is that most likely
pso jap and other isao games will be cut off . Also sega have
announced the end of opendice and the start of a new thing called
segalink . Wich means they start the same thing from scratch . As
always :)

on the new server so Ex may end up having to move
XDP to another webhost.

Hi people,

why is XDP no more available anywhere on the internet?
Wanted to download it to get my DC in the Internet (and Sega Europe
seems unable to send me a DK disc :-( ), but all the links are blind,
and all the downloads are gone.
Could anyone tell me where to download the last XDP version?

Blueswirl is down right now . After many problems with 505 error
there is now a "account suspended " message . So for the time it's down

I have tried this uploaders last week and they worked fine
though 3 of them give you a error message after you uploaded
your stuff .
Yust load a website after you uploaded your save
eg www.google.to , then hit back and you will be able to transload
your saves . Also the one hosted on geocities.nl wants to redirect you
to the geocities main site , hit cancel to avoid this .

Hey thanks for your response . Well good to hear that ch@b still work
. Then i asume they work currently on the email servers , and disabled
the login ... ?

As for ch@b and win200 it worked fine for me . But under win98 it
don't want to install , i tried the webinstaller and the downloadble one .

I guess it have something to do with some ini's missing or whatever .
Also win98 don't support winsock

However this problems with my isao account lead to ,that i updated my
myroom site with links and some text :p



Oh and about the java ch@b applet version , i saw here on the group
archiv that you need to enable "jis compiler and loggin" somewhat in
your java options .

  But still no succes . It loads , then i put my account infos in
username passwort . And click on the connect button .

It then tries to connect . . . . after 4 secs  it gives me a error
message . If i then switch the connection method to TCP it yust takes
1 second to bring me this ugly error message

ANyone had luck in using the java applet under win98 ? I tried it in
the past on my win2k setup and had the same problems ...

Im having problems with my dricas/isao account lately

I can no longer login into my webmail account ...
I Tried it 3 days ago , and today and it gives me a error
message "login failed"

Then i tried to login into my myroom account , and this works

Im a little bit scared , that i may loose this account or will not be
able to check my mail and use ch@b . My Computer hd had a data failure
and my win2k disc is screwed . So i need to use my old win98 Os .Since
then "1,5months" I could not use ch@b as the installer gives me a error
and the java applet never worked for me . Could it be that my accout
get deleted because i did not used my account much for 1,5 months ?
