I need a way to disable modem on hold on the Dreamcast (56k).

Are there any modem strings to use to disable this, so you won't miss calls?

Do you think your internet service provider can do something about this? My ISP
have very limited Dreamcast support. They only tel you to plug in your account
info and that's it. Any more Dreamcast help questions asked won't do any good.

Thanks for your time.

HI folks,

Was just on http://dreamcast.planetweb.com and was trying to get a preview of a
VMU animation, but the page wouldn't load more than 4KB :(
I tried reloading the page with no luck, nor would other preview pages.

Is that because I'm using Dreamkey 3 and not a Planetweb browser?

Introducing Web2mail Junior
Safe secure email for children

Hi DCBG,

I appreciate you taking time out to read this email. My name is Mark Brown, co-founder of Web2mail.

As a parent, I realized the need for an email system for my daughter that she could use independently, whilst giving me total peace of mind. I needed to know that there was no way she could recieve spam, adult content or approaches from strangers. The only way I could feel at ease was to develop our own solution - www.web2mailjunior.com

We are trying to recruit a few hundred families to test drive our new email site for children that has full parental controls built in.

  • children are automatically protect from spam
  • second tier defense matches sender against safe list managed by parent
  • third tier defense gives parent opportunity to review all messages with attachments
  • the service is subscription based so that we never have to sell or market services to children

If you have a family with pre-teen or teenage children, and would like to participate in our friends and family program, please visit www.web2mailjunior.com

For $10 you can create and manage up to 10 email accounts from a choice of cool domains. The normal price is $30 per year so we are offering a big discount as a thank you.  We do have to make a charge to help prevent children creating accounts without parental permission.

Because we are at beta stage, your children are very likely to get the email identity they want.

eg: yourchildsname@...  or yourchildsnickname@... etc

If you have friends who are not web2mail users but have young families, please pass this offer on to them by forwarding them this message.

We are also recruiting affiliates to promote the service to schools, Parent Teacher Associations and partner websites. If you would like to recieve more information click here.

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards

Mark Brown

That's for DreamKey/DreamPassport, right?
That's very handy. I'm sorta sick of grabbing the conroller everytime I want to
scroll down a bit.

Thank you for the info.
-
Tell me this

In PlanetWeb browsers when tying in boxes (like if you want to enter a name and
password, or tying in message boards) you can press the Tab button to go from
one box to the next, or hold Shift and press Tab to go baack a box.

You can do the same with buttons . They'll highlight and you press Tab to
advance one button, or hold Shift and press Tab to go back a button. The
highlighted button will be selected when you press Enter on your keyboard (no
need to click on it with the cursor).

CAN YOU DO THIS WITH DREAMKEY AND DREAMPASSPORT BROWSERS?? All the Tab button do
is exit out of the field you're writting in, but doesn't go to the next
box/button.

Thanks for your time.

Yeah, I know who she is, but with so many Capcom crossovers in the last few
years I wasn't sure if she was in SF or not. Incidentally I have the JP version
of SFA 3 (SF Zero 3) and she is one noisey gal... which is why I dislike her so
much.
The JP version of the game also had some sort of online ranking mode thing, but
I was never able to figure out how to set it up properly and view the online
rankings.

I have TWO profies at Yahoo groups. one is linked to my ISPWest email account
and the other is linked to my Gmail email account.

I think all of the messages made to the DreamcastBrowsers group are only being
sent to the GMail account (which still suck).

i've tried using the DreamPassport browser (had to use cache at google.com and
checking that box to remember passwords, but it still doesn't work. i still get
the error messages.

I was thinking 'Hey, maybe if I delete the membership profile with the GMail
account all messages will be sent to my ISPwest email account.

The problem is..I don't know if i can delete JUST one profile. I feel like I may
do somthing wrong and totally delete my membership which will totally ruin my
status and all.

hey i like it to stay this way.

Maybe someone can help. My Gmail profile MUST GO!.

I tested it on PW3.0 and DPP and it worked OK.

Jason please watch what you include in an email, I refer to the 2 words after
"video games," in the list of stuff enclosed in the brackets. I was tempted to
delete the email from the archive, but will refrain from doing so for now
(unless anyone else thinks I should).

Nothing against you Jason, I realise you have been a member for a while, and
have no intention of banning you - or issuing a warning. This is just a casual
"please don't include those words in a group email", okay?

As for the group advertised by tomjohson187 (or whatever his name is) I am gonna
delete that email frmo the archive as he simply joined, spammed and then left
the group :(

Some time ago they "moved" to http://mail.gmail.com but as far as i
know, the redirection should still work...

Anyway it's a shame it doesn't work on the DC now, they had a quite
compatible HTML based version for non-supported browsers... How weird.

I'm always getting error messages when I try to Go to gmail.google.com

I've tried going to Google.com , search Gmail, and click on Cache. This at least
gets me to the login page (which isn't possible anymore on the DC browsers). I
then proceed to enter my name and password, only to get ANOTHER ERROR PAGE.

WHAT THE HELL???!!!!???

i'm through with gmail. This sucks big time. I had everything set up to go
there. it was to be my main email address. but now everything's gone wrong with
it and Google still haven't fixed it.

Do they even know what's going on?
Anyone here been able to get into their account?
Is the Dreamcast no longer compatible with their service?

SUCKY to have have them all this time. I've finall gotten myself another ISp and
NEW email address. So, from now on, send EVERYTHING (cartoons, poems, video
games, shemale porn, grilled cheese sammiches, whatever) to this address

JASONMAIVIA@...

this is to EVERYONE including strangers.

i'm fed up, and I want my month of emails back!

if anyone out there tried to contact me in the last month or so, please resend
emails to that address. I neer ignore people, and try to reply to all message as
soon as I've read them.

Thank you all for your time.
