I almost forgot...
mail.gmail.com isn't working either. It does the same as the other addresss.

Everytime I try going there I get this message

"Unable to load the requested document. Please try again."
Oh well...
Anyone have the same problems?

Jason please watch what you include in an email, I refer to the 2 words after
"video games," in the list of stuff enclosed in the brackets. I was tempted to
delete the email from the archive, but will refrain from doing so for now
(unless anyone else thinks I should).

Nothing against you Jason, I realise you have been a member for a while, and
have no intention of banning you - or issuing a warning. This is just a casual
"please don't include those words in a group email", okay?

As for the group advertised by tomjohson187 (or whatever his name is) I am gonna
delete that email frmo the archive as he simply joined, spammed and then left
the group :(

Some time ago they "moved" to http://mail.gmail.com but as far as i
know, the redirection should still work...

Anyway it's a shame it doesn't work on the DC now, they had a quite
compatible HTML based version for non-supported browsers... How weird.

It's been over a frickin' month and GMAIL STILL won't let me go into my account.
I'm always getting error messages when I try to Go to gmail.google.com

I've tried going to Google.com , search Gmail, and click on Cache. This at least
gets me to the login page (which isn't possible anymore on the DC browsers). I

i'm through with gmail. This sucks big time. I had everything set up to go

Sony's PSP Goes Online

Web browsing, video download and viewing highlight the handheld's new
features.

Martyn Williams, IDG News Service
Thursday, July 21, 2005
Sony Computer Entertainment will release a system software update for
its PlayStation Portable (PSP) next week that will add several new
functions to the handheld gaming device, including browse the
Internet and download TV programs, the company said Thursday.

Chief among the additions to version 2.0 of the software will be a
Web browser. Accessible from the PSP's main menu, the browser
supports HTML 4.01 and will allow access to most Web sites.

Legit Wi-Fi
The PSP already has a wireless LAN for online gaming and for
downloading software from the Internet, but Sony hasn't officially
allowed users to browse the Web. However, users quickly found a way
to exploit a Web browser included in the "Wipeout Pure" game to
enable access to Web sites. Instructions for doing this can be found
easily on the Internet, but the software update will make Web
browsing both official and much easier.

Also new will be support for downloading video in the MPEG4 AVC
format. This was demonstrated at an event in Tokyo Thursday by
connecting a PSP with the new software to a PSP portal site that will
be launched next week by SoNet, a Sony-affiliated Internet service
provider in Japan. The portal will offer downloads of TV programs and
other content. Prices for the service were not disclosed.

Other new features include the capability to transfer photos from one
PSP to another via an ad hoc wireless LAN, and support for additional
media formats including the AAC audio format.

White PSP Promised
The version 2.0 software update will be available via the PSP's built-
in update function or in UMD (Universal Media Disc) form from July
27, the company said. Information on whether the update will be
simultaneously available to users outside Japan was not immediately
available.

Sony also announced plans to launch a white PSP, called the PSP-
1000KCW. At present the console is available only in black. The white
version will be available in Japan starting on September 15. A value
pack that includes the PSP, headphones, a memory card and other
accessories will cost $220, which is the same price as the black PSP.
International launch plans were not disclosed.

Sales of the PSP, which was launched earlier this year in the U.S.
and in Japan in late 2004, totaled 5.1 million units as of July 20.
Sales in the U.S. are ahead of those in Japan, at 2.7 million units
versus 2.3 million units, the company said at an event in Tokyo.

I wonder though, if Sony is just bullshitting us, like they did in
2001 with the AOL features, Netscape browser, RealMedia, Java, etc.

The last know broweser I heard about was PlanetWeb 3.0. I ordered it
but cancelled for some reason, becasue I thought I could get DreamKey
from eBay...turns out I was wrong.

Any news on broswer for the Dreamcast. I use the PC (I have three -
two I built , 1 I bought -- they are pretty cheap nowadays). But I was
surprised whn i as able to still connect my DC to the Shenmue Passport
service, and see my game stats. IOh the services were down, and the
Jet Grind Radio service has never been up, not even in 2001 when I
first got my DC.

It's a shame that the rayman 2 website is down, I wanted to get the
online only feature it had.

thanks for any answers.

Erm, i've been the moderator of a few mailing lists on Yahoo for a number of years. Moderators can set up lists to be "moderated", so that all messages to a group need to be approved before they go out to the subscribers. Messages can be approved or rejected directly from email, if the moderator wishes to do so. It's quick and easy, and the subscribers never have to see the spam. With just a few messages to the list each week, it'd hardly take "all day" ;) ...especially if the list has more than one moderator, which is possible.

You can't moderate messages sent out to lists.

All you can do delete them at the Yahoo group

page. And who wants to spend all day banning

bots?

Bots don't get bored. Maybe the list needs moderation?
