Thanks to Cabou and Fallout for this info.

You know all that CHAOS FIELD has recently been released, a quite good shoot em
up (with bosses only) but others are coming for 2005...

confirmed:

Karugamo
Trizeal (pre-orders are open at play-asia.com)

Hopeful releases (but not confirmed yet):

rajurugi
Senko no ronde (by G-REV, creators of Border Down)

watch the videos of senko (on Naomi for the instant), the gameplay is a kind of
mix between shootemups and aerial mechas beats (as ZOE), and all in VERSUS!!!

Movie links (Mpegs):

http://www.click-stick.com/replay/SnR-2ndloke-vs.mpg

http://www.click-stick.com/replay/SnR-2ndloke-finalboss.mpg

this last one is the best

Don 't forget the re-release of Puyo Puyo Fever in late February this year,
called Puyo Puyo Fever Drekore Series.

Regards,
Andrew B

PS. I will be ordering Chaos Field tonight ;)

Hmmm...

Quake wouldn't work with it?

Have you tried re-loading the vmu save again, but with another brower?

When is the game save not working? Is the game trying to find a game save
automatically?

Did you try to manually load the save from the vmu from within the game's setup
menu?

Once you do get the save to work, you should re-save it immediately.

Oops, spoke too soon. cuz even though it loaded it onto the vmu for some reason
Q3 didnt recognize it. I checked the vmu using the systems browser and it shows
up as a regular q3 save but the game just wont load it. Any suggestions?

from pw from the start is because I had to save the original email in a
different folder since at&t deletes emails that are over 30 days old from the

now play quake again with all my orignal settings! thx again, and if you see a

I know this really isn't the right place to post this but what the hell.I want
to put s-video output back were it belongs on my x-eye.I need to know the values
of the components missing. I traced pin 15 on the 1145 and it looks like it's
signal goes threw a missing cap and resistor to the s-video output.I see another
missing cap but it doesn't seem to go to pin 16. I can trace the path from pin
16 to an existing resistor but thats as far as I get.Can someone give me a hand
with this.

I just gave my DC to my sister. I'm giving everything away because
I'm going abroad to grad school.

She has a cable modem with a dead PC and wanted to try and get the DC
running. I have a keyboard, mouse and the broadband adaptor (which I
never used). What's the easiest way? I can't find XDP anywhere.
Would it be easier to get a lnux distro working for my sister to be
able to just run a browser?

Thanks,

Zach

Erm....

I believe thats what he has already done and wants to get them from his email
account back to his memory card.

I did reply earlier, but for some reason when I clicked 'send' the web-based
mail must have gone goo-goo. (It also did it again on this reply, so I'm trying
to send this from the group's page)

Basically, aslong as you sent the email with the attached file to your own
account and HAVE NOT forwarded it OR attached that email to another email, it
should all load back on fine.

On Dreamkey 3 all I would need to do is go into POP3 (aka game mail), DC-based
email client, and click on the email with the attachment.
It then automatically asks if you want to save it (if its a Dreameye video, it
will ask you if you want to view it before it asks you if you want to save it)
and after hitting yes I just select the memory card to save it to.

If you are getting text then you are doing something wrong.

If you are using Planetweb then Jason is probably the best person to help you.

Thank You for your response! :) Come to find out, the
isp we were using was not compatible with the
Dreamcast, so we switched the isp and now I am able to
play online! :) Yes, the sega servers are down, but
there are private servers up. Thank Goodness! Thanks
again! :) Sheila

Nice try Chris, but Planetweb (or th creators of
Planetweb) need to make money to stay around.

Thats why many "exclusives" on the PS2/GC haven't
lasted long.
GTA: San Andreas earns Rockstar more money, having
ported it to the XBox and Capcom will eventually port
Resident Evil 4 to the (grrrr) Playstation 2.

Its all about survival, and as far as companies go
they need to concentrate on making a profit.

As a sidenote, some of you may be aware that Acclaim
are no more (they filed for bankruptcy back in Sept
2004) and now you can add Titus (the parent company of
Interplay) to the list of developers/publishers gone
under in the last 24 months, making well over a dozen
in total ;(

If you can get online with your Dreamcast Browser, then you should be able to
play Quake.

It could just be Quake and not your ISP.

I thought it can still go online.
Even though official servers are down (been down for years), private servers
are made and keeps this game alive. I was playing a few months ago and had no
problem getting online.

I did get that problem before of the game scanning for servers (or whatever) and
getting nothing. But try again, and they may be up now.

If you hear static on the phone line it typically means that a modem is trying to connect to the internet.  Unfortunately Sega shut down Seganet's servers months ago, but you can still use the Dreamcast to log onto the internet.  Just not the servers.  Which basically means that the games are no longer playable online, but that you can still get online.

I searched using Google.com and found many sites listing various modem strings
and initialisatio string, but they didn't state what the individual parts where
for ;(

Quite a few of the strings use V.90 at the start, but I don't recall reading
anything on dosbaling the V92 thing... infact V92 wasn't mentioned.

I think the DC modems were made by Conexant... or did they have another name?

I'm not the best person to ask on this stuff, perhaps someone else can help you

Indeed, the group is "open membership" so anyone can
(sadly) come along and mess things up.
The main reason for the open membership is so that
anyone (members or not) can look up information, get
help and / or post messages.

The list says

I haven't seen the table before (I know I'm a long
time member, but I have been busy with my amiga
lately), so I don't know whether there originally was
40 features in that list or not.
I think 'insidiousplots', author of the table,
probably saw it after reading your message and deleted
the offending line.
If not, and you are reading this, perhaps you have the
original table saved somewhere plots?

No, we are not anti anything.... well browsers anyway.
Anything Dreamcast related is welcome, regardless of
which browser/s you are using.

Nor do I, well.... maybe... I want to back-up my

towards the Amiga for my computing and my Dreamcast
