I haven't taken the time to watch it straight through because it's 31
1/2 minutes long, but I did convert it to mpg and skip through a lot
of it. Since it's in Japanese, it's real hard to sit through. Also,
there's a long section of just Japanese text apearing/dissapearing.
I did see the sculptures and the early artwork for the Shenmue
characters as well as some early polygon models. There was a lot of
stuff that I just didn't know what it was.

On the subject of movies... have you seen the Saturn Shenmue that's
on the 4th disc of Shenmue 2? I just watched that the other day for
the first time. Does anyone know more information about it? Was
that demo really done on a Saturn? Parts of it look like a Saturn,
but other parts of it look like "there's no way the Saturn could do
that". ;)

Did you watch it all??

If you did you would have seen that yu Suzuki and AM2
researched the mountain area (seen on the 4th disc of
Shenmue 2) way before Shenmue 1 reached Europe and the
US!
You would also see some of the stuff I'm gagging to

Hi,
I havenīt tried the updated XDP yet, I just d/led the updated version
gonna look into it and see the new features too. I donīt think Iīm
going to need that 1st_read.bin :) Now I see why those MPEG didnīt
have the special tag.

Thanks
Gotta love the flea markets nice find ;)

Hi,
If you have the newest XDP, take a look at the functions page. You
can find a link from "tools" or the "playing media" page in the help
manual. It gives examples for streaming adx and sofdec. These
examples were also in some of the Dreamkeys, but I added a couple
things and put a text box to copy the link from.
There is no special link needed for mpeg files or small sofdecs that
can be loaded into memory. I believe the size limit is 1,536 KB, but
I've only been able to play files of about 1,200 KB or less. For
larger sofdecs to be streamed from disc, you need to use the special
command you listed above "x-avefront://---.dream/proc/play/mpeg/
[directory of file]/[name of file]". I haven't been successful using
this command with larger mpeg files, but you can play any size
sofdec, (even a full movie).

Also, I found the Japanese version of Virtua Fighter 3tb at a flea
market last weekend. It had a second disc called "Project Berkley".
It's just a 1st_read.bin and a 936 MB sofdec of an interview with Yu
Suzuki. I took a look into the 1st_read.bin and it looks for files
named "movie_a.sfd", "movie_b.sfd", etc... all the way
to "movie_j.sfd". Of course, this bin can be used to play any
sofdec. If you would like me to upload just the 1st_read.bin, I
will. I'm not sure what the issues here would be of sharing a single
1st_read.bin to play sofdecs. If plots considers it taboo, I'll
respect that and not say anymore on the issue.

Not sure what your trying to do.

However, I do know that Dreamkey 3 (based on Dream
Passport 3) will play movies direct from the CD-ROM,
but it requires a special HTML tag/link.

Since you already have a PC, try looking at the file/s
in the "dpwww/" directory on Ferrari 355 (PAL), as
they should help you.

Though having just re-read your email, it appears you

You can try ringing Sega Europe (based in London, UK),
but I doubt you'll have any luck.

As has already been stated, your best bet is to try
ebay. Remember that Dreamkey 3 also came with the PAL
version of PSO Ver 2 - make sure it's with it before
buying/bidding.

I use my DC too, but due to the amount of emails
lately (and the number of emails with attached images)
I have found it to be impractical.

I assume you are talking about using POP3 (aka game

What browser are you using?

I'm from the UK and use Dreamkey 3. Last time I used
the POP3 on it (atleast a month ago) it worked fine.

I'm using my Dreamcast to send emails. I just go to Email and that's it. But,
when I just hit reply, It never show up. I have messages that were sent many
months ago that still haven't shown. This is the reason I have to re-type the
address (and sometimes i misspell it and have to re-do the message) :(

If your using a yahoo webmail account then yes, that
should work.

or Do I have to type in the Dreamcast browsers email
address over again and send?

You shouldn't have to alter anything when replying,
other than adding your coment or question to the
email.

When I just hit Reply and send it in, I get the
message saying it was sent, but The message never
shows up.

How long did you wait? I know sometimes I don't get my
own emails posted to a group in my own INbox for 2
days sometimes, but they should appear in the groups
archives within an hour or so of being sent, depending
on the amount of email traffic yahoo are dealing with
at the time.

This is my THIRD FREAKIN' TIME re-writing this message. I'm not doing it right.

When I want to respond to someone, do I hit Reply, write my message, and hit
Send? or Do I have to type in the Dreamcast browsers email address over again
and send?

When I just hit Reply and send it in, I get the message saying it was sent, but
The message never shows up.

OOOOH Well...

I went to your message boards and clicked REGISTER. I then got a page stating
that the site doesn't exist. So I try reloading and hitting Back, but I got the
same page. I tried that link from your last message, but it took me to the same
page saying it didn't exist.

I just went to your messegs boards about 5 minutes ago and tried to register,
but I got a page stating the site does not exist.

Now I'm getting that page when I click on your link. It's not working anymore.

PLUS.
When I want to reply to messages, do I have to re-type the
dreamcastbrowsers@yahoogroups.com email address every time? that's what i've
been doing all the time. Whenever I just hit REPLY, the email message isn't
shown but it says it was sent.

Oh well

-Jason WWE Smackdown is sorta better than WWE Raw. Smackdown really need to do
something with the cruiserweights. They could move Hurricane over to Smackdown
and make Funaki the champ!

-Jason thinks Matt Hard was better off as a heel on Smackdown as the WWE United
States Champion.
