just been looking around the bush sites, seems as if interest has fallen over
the past few months,  shame as there were some good projects going on out there.

does anyone here have a bush STB or TV combination? i would be interested to
read about your experiences.

also WebTV users, what have you been up to on the modification front?

i think us "alternative surfers" should get together and keep an interesting
hobby alive!

it is probably what you meant, but, just to be clear
:
there IS a dreampassport browser on the dreameye dis
k and this can be used to email dreameye pics IF you
  have the pop info set up...
you DO NOT want to use the actual mailer built into
the visualpark software unless you have no other cho
ice, for the reasons stated in the dreameye guide...
   you want to use the browser to do it...

as for having to use dp to mail dreameye pics...  hm
m, yes, there is a logic to that...  see, when you s
ave a pic to dreameye, as someone pointed out, it is
  saved with a DREAMKEY.P file name, when dp saves it
, it is with a PASSPORT.P file name...  when a pic i
s mailed, the browser converts it to a regular filen
ame (.jpg, etc.)...
that being the case, it seems totally logical that d
reamkey would not recognize a PASSPORT.P file as a p
ic, so, it would not know to convert it...
BUT, the file name MIGHT not matter at all, it might
  just recognize it as a saved pic, since i am sure t
he only difference between the dk and dp pic saving
methods is the file name...

someone who has tried it would have to tell us defin
itively...

well, i said it at the dreameye group, but, yes, you
  can change the file name IF there is still a workin
g site to do it...  the droleen site does, but, i do
n't think it works anymore, but, i bet blueswirl's s
ite has a tool for it, if he still updates his site,
  i have not seen him around in quite awhile...

there is an old guide on how to rename files in the
guides/tutorials, but, it may be useless, since it s
hows how to do it with the jap site and not everythi
ng works on that site anymore since the prohosting p
olicy changes...


the only other thing i can think of would be using a
  moblog like textamerica.com, where you can email th
em and they will be put on your moblog site, no uplo
ading required...  i doubt you can link to the pics
doing it this way (though, maybe you can, i have not
  tried it), BUT, you can add full descrips and such
and it more or less builds your pics site for you, s
aving a lot of hassle...

good help bro, you arent a noob!:)

when you save a pic on the web using Dream Passport, the file goes
with a .P extension (from PASSPORT.P00 to PASSPORT.P99). all you need
to do is go to http://snow.prohosting.com/droleen/uplo , to upload
your pic.

They do have a modem....
supposedly they also play vcd's
and have a cool LCD screen.

Problem might be finding any.
Lik-Sang quite selling Treamcast
because of a legal dispute and I
am not aware of any other supplier.

Wouldn't mind having one though.....

Hello, I had wrote previously about the Dreameye. I will tell you what i am
doing. I use the Dreameye software and save my pics to a vmu. I go to blueswirls
site, which I have used in the past and enter all the info. It goes to the next
page and the vmi and vms files go through, but don`t see my picture and it says
the last url (blueswirls) is not valid or something. I have tried planetweb 3.0
browser and the jet grind radio dreamkeye browser and I still get no picture to
send to my ftp account. I tried droleens with the Jet Grind radio dreamkeye
browser and it would only pull up the Jet grind radio file. Also could anyone
tell me, can I email a picture from my vmu and how do I transload it to my ftp
account and change it to .jpg? Thanks

I also have a Dreameye, but once my pics are saved t
o a VMS (aka VMU) I use my normal DC browser to uplo
ad them via:

http://snow.prohosting.com/droleen/uplo

Then I transfer (transload) them to my webspace as t
hey are only temporarily stored on that site.

Alternatively you should be able to attach the pics
to an email... but since the pics are saved as 'PASS
PORT.Pxx' (xx can be any number) I think they will o
nly attach to emails sent from Dreampassport.

Did you put them on a memery card?
You could email them that way. I think
you have to use DreamPassport sinse
its japanese. do you have DreamPassport?
