There are some bookmarklets there that
are DC compatible (some are not) that
might be useful to you.

One fatal flaw....

It can't be saved as a VMU bookmark
so it's more or less temporary. I guess
you could save the source code as an html
file and bring it up that way.

still its neat to edit the history page....
just would be neater to find a practicle
use for it.

Thought I recognized that addy :)

Anyway Bruce that's a 1998 article on
the new (then) webTV service for DC
in Japan and the developers behind it.

Of course the service has long since
been abandoned. But it is a good example
of one of the goodies they got that we
never saw here in the states.

Damn dude, this is VERY nice!

I put all my VMU bookmarks on one
history page by visiting them, then
by bookmarking the history page as you
suggested and adding a bg pic I now
have my own CUSTOM hyper-bookmark.

So is this how they (the jpnse) figured
out how to do this? Man its like having
a stylesheet you can change anytime...

how the hell did you figure this out?
Very good job. Makes me wonder what
else we might be able to do with it....

Good question. Hard to find good free
hosts that don't have ads or banners.

Geocities (canada) is where I host some
DC stuff because it supports ftp but as
far as forums, I dunno. Especially those
that have php or cgi included.

anyone know a free host he can use?

Ok, I know this is a Dreamcast browser's group but I
saw these pictures of Planetweb's PS2 browser and I
know that alot of you are too curious for your own
good to not wanna take a look at them. The URL's kin
da funny because I took the liberty of translating t
he page into English via Alta Vista. Anyways, here's
  the URL:

PICTURES OF PLANETWEB'S PS2 BROWSER
http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?lp
=ja_en&url=http://www.ergo.co.jp/news/egbrowser.html

From the look of it the browser looks nearly identic
al to the Dreamcast browser right down to the MP3 pl
ayback window. The layout of everything is exactly t
he same as PW's DC browsers just with different colo
rs. I'd still wanna get my hands on this bad boy tho
ugh, wouldn't you?

I accidently discover this the other day, It look so cool, You can change your
history page with any color or font your like. Just copy the sega.com link on
the bottom with the body or header with it and put it in your jumpbox or url box
then hit enter, it will say bad request, now look at your history page. It
changed all the color. No more boring blue link and white background. You can
also bookmark it and never have to copy and paste, just hit jump. If you want to
change new or different color try clear cache from controller or a bookmarklet
clear cache.
This is the one im using right now, you also can put a background pic behind it.

new webbrowsing software for the ps2 that even has AOL software on it. I am
calling everyone who is interested in a ps2 browser to join. This is a group for
ALL PS2 browsers both custom, and original retail so there will be no
Illegal/Legal debates, we simply do not care! here is the site

Come join and help us with the info and rumors you hear!

DreamKey does handle it better but
that Lycos frame is terrible. But at
least DK allows the messages to be
viewed. I still suggest another host.

I just happened to be on my DC
and tried to visit your forum (on
PW 3.0) one word....unusable....

Maybe Dreamkey or Passport can handle
all those Lycos frames a little better
but if you are going to put up a forum
that DC browser users are going to
visit I suggest doing some testing.

Hi,

For anyone still struggling to complete their DC
collection try visiting:

http://www.games-dojo.com

They cover the DC, GC, PS2 and XBox.

Look carefully though, some of their prices are rather
steep whilst others are dead cheap...

.. and did anyone know there's a Hellok Kitty Limited
EDition DReamcast? Or how about DC cushions?!

Just thought some of you might like to know about the
site.
