my guess is things would load faster because your using a faster
connection. but anyway. so why dosen't someone just make a server
for the US pso. and how do you get on it. because if you log on it says
the servers are down?

Hi,

I would love to have one in the future, is very expensive and with the
shipping costs from Japan can be a lor more expensive.

Hi,

The difference between the normal and Limited Edition of Shikigami no
Shiro 2 is that the LE version has a disc with the soundtrack plus
some trading cards. Can't wait to play this game :)

In my opinion the BBA is great. If the Planetweb browser 3.0 freezes
on the second or third page is not because the BBA, is because the
browser himself. PW 3.0 is crap, it freezes every few minutes is very
bad, it seems they didn't even tested the product. I use BBA Passport
and has never freezed and is much better than PW 3.0.
I don't know about your Quake 3 problems but I recommend you search
for help at www.onlineconsoles.com. They even have a server for Quake
3 DC and I played last week in that server and others with great ping.
In fact for some reason I'm having better lag with the DC version
lately that with PC. I played with the US version, PAL is not BBA
compatible so I don't know if the official euro servers are still
active.

The browser freezes on the second or third page you view and on QIIIA
you rarely find servers and whewn you do you get disconnected in about
60 seconds.

actually thats not the master server that returns the servers list,
that the dreamkey/dreamarena authentication server that has a problem.
the game servers are still opened and you can play on them with the us
game. im affraid its not temporary and the remaining official game
server will probably close soon. but as it has been explained before
anyone is able to make a game server with a pc and the dc map pack so
the game will be online forever.

Thats not quite true.... PSO, F355 and Starlancer ar
e definately up.. though PSO servers are down i the
USA permanently.

Several people said that the master server for Quake
was down, but I don;t know whether it was temporary
  or permanent.

Quake still works, I play it all the time. It is compatable with Q3A on PC so a
PC can host the game. I think that's how it works, but regardless I play Quake
all the time and it works great, no lag on dial up. It was with the BBA you
get all the lag and disconnects.

Somebody also has a Dream Passport 3 on sale. They accept payment through PayPal
only and it's currently about $12 I think. Sorry I couldn't provide the link,
not only because I'm only using the 2.0 version of the PW browser but also
because my son broke my DP 3 disc so I can't cut and paste the URL. Can the 2.0
PW browser use the "Send a URL" javascript bookmarklet found in the 3.0 browser?
If so, could someone supply me with it? My connection sucks and I can't figure
out how to navigate the menus at this group's site. Thanks.

In case anyone's wondering he charges a
flat $5 for shipping ($10 outside of
USA). So, worth a bookmark as I'm sure
this seller has all the original
Passport browsers.

This auction btw was a Passport V1

Limited Edition includes a soundtrack cd
and Japanese Phone Card featuring Castle
of Shikigami illustrations

However the limited Edition is
temporarily not available (sold out I
supose).

looks like a cool shoot em up, kinda a
cross between Border Down and Ikaruga.
Seriously thinking about ordering.

if its only an offset change you may want to try to contact people who
made vmu games like alessandro sanassi (aka tyro) and ask them if they
could modify it or give you the source so you can make it.
btw your links are for planetweb users since you didnt declare the
vmi/vms mimetypes on your host. for people who dont have planetweb you
can download the files with dreamkey/dreampassport using my vm
checksum corrector: http://bswirl.kitsunet.org/vm_checksum_corrector/
there was a problem caused by the resource field padded with spaces
instead of NUL in the vmi file but its fixed now

Yes,it will only run games that are assembled/compiled with certain
adjustments(offset, exit jump address),but its' not too complicated
so it shouldn't be too hard for anyone to convert their games to run
on VMos.I will write instructions soon on how to do that on the
webpage, so check back soon. The game example sounds like a good
idea.I tried something like that before on the first website, but I
had to take the site temporarily,so I dont think anyone found
it.I'll try to put something new on this site.

oh, so that would mean only games made for the VMUos will work right?
i thought it was a kind of selector and you could choose any game
saved as data. thats still an interesting approach tho, it makes the
games designed for the tool take less blocks doesnt it? thats too bad
you lost the source. also i think you should make a simple game
example and release the source so other people can create games for
the tool, hopefully it will give new interest to developpers who left
the vmu scene a while back

Thanks for trying out VMos!
I was hoping someone might find it interesting.
About the source code,I lost the original source for VMos and most
of the programs for it,but i'm thinking about working on a new
version soon.If you have any questions about how it works though,I
do remember most of what I wrote. The way VMos loads a file is to use
the bios' flash read and write functions to access the directory
(fat) and files to get information about them, and the files
themselves. Then it loads the data for the file into the blank space
in the VMos game file and jumps to the start of the program file
(they are assembled to run that way).
