The greatest auction site in the United States is ebay.
However, in Japan, it is Yahoo!Auctions.
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/40506-category.html?

If you want to collect a dream passport or dream eye etc... ,
it will be good to use an auction of Japan.

Thanks ;)

I've been playing on the server for almost a week now using a CodeBreaker code
to log onto it.
for a Private Beta server it is really good.
the server is 1 Block and is Uncensored.
So far the only things that dont work are card searches, hunter searches, block
info doesn't work when u press X at the ship select menu but u can see how many
users just by looking at the server name enstead.
there are also no Quests, Battle Rules, and Challenges yet.
oh and anyone can play a game on any difficulty no matter what your level is.
LOL altho I wouldnt reconmened going into ultimate as a Level 50 or less player
unless u like getting killed every sec while always missing every attack u make.

i think these news have been exagerately diffused everywhere, the
server exists for some time already, neo-ice is only sharing infos on
how to connect to the server without code breaker. the server is just
a lobby, and is quite buggy from what i heard. barubary already made a
homebrew lobby about one year ago but she stopped the project
apparently because implementing the game required too much work. if
you want to play online to pso on dc you should buy the pal game, euro
and jap servers are still up at the moment, i dont know for how long
though

PSO WILL live forever! homebrew server shocker!
February 7 2004 at 2:05 AM DS9. (Login DS9.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------

omg its true!
a PSO homebrew server for dc v2 is out (first alpha)
ok i dont have a DC BBA but apparently
some people have tested this and it works
only with a broadband connection and US or PAL DCpsover2 all you need
to do is:
contact Neo-Ice, by neo-ice@... or Neo2Ice on AIM for
permission to access his DNS Server.
change your DNS Server on your dreamcast for the BBA to 24.159.157.185
Then you should be able to connect with no cheating device at all.
Just boot the game regular and try to connect.'

okay heres the deal from the dude himself...
"If you use the PC-Dreamcast Server, you can use my dns server. You
must set winroute to administor a DNS Proxy to neodns.no-ip.com. Then
you can connect to Schthack's server with a dial-up modem using the
PC-Dreamcast Server.

Otherwise if you have BBA, you can simply change both the DNS Servers
of the Dreamcast to neodns.no-ip.com, which is my DNS Server. This
will allow you to connect.

Note: You do not use a cheat device with either of the methods I'm
describing. These connect to my dns server and thats all it needs. I
set a hostname to my ip address so as it would not be known to
everyone.

Note 2: US or PAL PSO Version 1 do not work at all for the time
being.

Note 3: All the credit of this server needs to go to Schthack. He
created the server, I am simply helping people gain access to it by
alternative methods"

well there u go
all you can do is chat and jump about lobbies so far
but even tho this is just the 1st test version it is amazin someone
has it up and running
the potential is obvious

Hi all,

I just read this post at www.ragolarms.co.uk (posted
by DS9) about a way to hook up to this guys own PSO
server! However its done via BBA.

For more info (can someone copy and paste it in an e
mail - I can't do it on my DC) visit www.ragolarms.c
o.uk click on DC link (for latest DC posts) and it
should be the top thread.

there's always the chance that Majesco Sales could get the rights to manufacture
Dreamcasts&DC games. Just like they did for the SegaGenesis&GameGear and Where
sopost to also for the SegaSaturn.
heck Majesco Sales could also make a Legal Treamcast if they got the rights.

Well i think its getting blown a bit out of proportion. All it is is that they are selling off some old stock, its not a rerelease. Gamestation here in the UK did the same thing about 6 months ago and got a load of new Dreamcasts and were selling them cheap. They were even selling brand new copies of Shenmue2 at the same time. A rerelease would be opening up some new factories and starting to produce the Dreamcast again. That hasnt and never will happen i'm afraid :(

As for NEC making games for Dc, yes they are, they announced that last year. Think they are releasing a few Jap Text Adventures and Dating Sims or something. They have never stopped producing games for the DC in Japan like they have in the rest of the world. Sadly, 9 out of 10 of the games released in Japan for the DC now seem to be Dating Sims and Text Adventures, and completely unplayable by anyone who doesnt know Japanese.

It's too bad they don't ship to the US, they had some neat looking stuff
I would have bought :( Are there any good US sites with Sega-related

But im thinking about a Re-release in Japan, with more new games per

Apparently they found a supply of
DC's somehere and are selling them
off. New Dreamcasts are not being
manufactured and the supply is
limited. Sega Direct only ships to
customers within Japan by the way.

Yes indeed we are a rare breed :0)

Sounds like your having a similar problem I had a
while back, about logging in. Try this:

  http://my.yahoo.com

The login boxes load up on this screen.

Your gonna love it here, plenty of new stuff to see
and do. You'll wonder how on earth you didnt know
about this place before!

iirc the option menu in dpp is almost the same as the one in dk3.0, so
after you edit the settings there should be 2 bottoms at the bottom,
confirm and cancel, if you click on confirm it bring you to the vm
selection screen so you can save the settings (if you modified
settings that can be saved), or else you will return to the page where
you were when you opened the options menu. just try the 2 buttons it
shouldnt be to hard to figure out which one does what

i didnt check the sites you mentionned but in this case most of the
time when the link points to a hash reference (#) it means the links
URL is ignored and the html links code contains a onlick attribute
pointing to a javascript function changing the location, for example:

<a href=# onclick=window.open(...)>text</a>

so you should check the source code and look for the javascript
function used in the link, its arguments may contain the actual
location. it could also use a function created just for the page
instead of window.open().
i know its not as easy as using a bookmarklet but it should work if
you have no other solution

I will try to say what I want to know, but dont blame me, we dont
speak english in Brazil very well:D

yahoo.com, games. you login there, go to the list of rooms, and when
you click, you cant go ahead. all I can see in the URL box
is: "URL:#stayhere"

the source code bookmarktlet cant help there... any ideia?
also, theres another website: http://www.gamecolony.com . I cant
login there, same bug. but at gamecolony, I can use the open window
bookamrktlet with DPP. but with pw3...:(

and last, but not least, http://gameknot.com . I cant receive the ID
confirmation email from there, then, I cant play. and I can bet its
chess java applet will works with pw3. does someone can help me? if
yes, thanks a lot. (i cant receive that email with both pc and DC)
see you all:)

Or you could use the planetwebmaster
tool to view the source (it's viewed
in an editable text box) and copy and
past the path to the url bar.

I think on PW 3.0 the tool is built
in as a bookmarklet.

i dont think pw js is good enough for the "open window" bookmarklet if
thats what you meant, at least not versions under pw3.
anyway there is a simple way to get the actual URL of a link from a
javascript:window.open() link, just look the parametters of the
function, the location should be in here, if its a relative path youll
have to paste it at the end of the current directory path (base href),
or use location="relative_path_url"
