Try using http://world.altavista.com to translate it,
just enter the Url into the translator. I wouldnt get
your hopes up thou, ive ordered it 4 times in the past
9months and never recieved it :( I asked a Spanish
friend in the end and luckily he had a spare one.
Still worth a try thou, you never know you might get lucky.

the system options are saved in a SYS file, this file is loaded only
when the browser is started which is not a bug but only the way it
works, about the SYS file recognized as a S file the thing it reminds
me is when you receive a SYS file as an attachment the browser saves
it as a bookmark cause of a filter, except that i dont see what youre
talking about

ok heres the midi script. idk much about javascript. i found this on
the net.
to see this script in action, go here,

http://www.mikereid.net/midi/index.html

heres the script,

Author: Mike Reid
E-mail: mike@...

(Place this code inside the HEAD tag of your page)

In the midiList array, use EXACT name of the MIDI file (with the .mid
extension) that you would want to hear
In the titleList array, type the title of the coresponding song.

(The page containing this script MUST be in the directory which your
songs are in, otherwise, specify a directory where your songs are
located when editing the midiList array)

Example:
If you type: "mysong.mid" in the 4th column of the midiList array,
then you would type "My Song" in the 4th column of the titleList
array.

actually, i make a html page that i store on my vmu using the vmnotepad tool, i
have <a href links which are linked to that bookmarklet and i specify my html
code. i use them to generate a page that embeds midis as background music and to
loop it up while i surf the net. i use them in frames of course.

i also make sure to keep it under 255 characters without any special chars..

if you just want to have a quick preview of your html code and you
can't connect at all this can be usefull, but if your code contains
special chars (like ') you should use the prompt in it, and you
should always copy the code you type because like karl mentionned
nothing is saved, it just appears in the URL bar but the max size is
very limited

well afaik theres no way to query local files with dk/dp so it's
better to change your script system, show us the source if you want
someone to help you. i'm not sure why you need to query the files but
you can use hash (#) with local files with no problems, maybe you
could simply change "search" to "hash" in your script

I think what Aliens is refering to Swirl is when you
try to load a .Sys File using the File Manager to
Apply Options when Online, it doesnt work, just say
you only put your Memory Card in after youve gone
online. To me that is more of a Bug.

actually i found what i was looking for.

javascript:document.write('<html><body>blah</body></html>')

type this plus html code in the URL Bar and the browser will generate a new

i don't know that much about js. it was pretty easy.

btw, blueswirl, i really like your site. very useful tools. keep up the great

hhmm well, i wanna tell about two points:

1. DCBG browser working here. Im using it right now.
i know what is the bug, and how to fix it.
2. i saw a "weird name" in this browser. its weird c

needless to say: i downloaded that image from a mess

Quick note to add to that Karl, they wont deliver to
anyone outside of Spain, i tried ordering it from that
Url numerous times since the beginning of this year. I
got a friend in Spain to get it for me in the end. Its
strange really because they are actually sent out from
here in England, lol.

sorry forget the browser question, so u tried with official dk3 eh?
strange, maybe smthg got screwed up during the last update, i just
tested with msie6 and http://www.yahoo.com it worked fine, you have
to press the "load from URL" button first then the top frame reload
and if you see the source code in the textarea you can click
the "preview" button to see the corresponding page, ill make a test
with dk3 right now, if its a bug it will be fixed soon

the vm notepad works offline too, you can choose the working mode, an
offline preview is avaliable but the online preview is better, you
just have to be connected when you enter the URL and when you save
the VM file.
here is the URL for those who didn't check it for a while or don't
know yet where to find it:
http://www.bswirl.stormnetwork.net/vmnotepad
i think it's in the archives of this group too

the problem with dk/dp mail's client is it inserts newline chars to
split the code in lines of 53 chars, it also replaces characters out
of the normal ascii table. it's safer to save the code in bookmarks
or address files if the code is small, or in H files by using online
tools or saving html attachment with dk/dp mail client

personnally i never had to reboot dk3 to load the changes in options,
the only time i needed to reboot was when i had created a new SYS
file and i wanted all the bookmarks to be loaded in the list for
example, i think it's not a bug it's just the way the browser works,
it loads the SYS file and the ini files just after the front page
